We can't confirm whether they're fully legit or injected, all we can say is that they appear to match existing events.

Is there any data saved from Pokemon Go regarding location or the Go trainer? My understanding is that all of this is stripped away when transfered to HOME, and HOME trainer data is set. Is that right? Or is there any data left from GO?
There is data left from GO sent to the server, on the server side.
While we cannot access it normally, it’s definitely there. The easiest example would be to send a mon from GO to HOME, and view the data on mobile. It tells you who the GO trainer is, and that info isn’t tied the PK data, but rather the HOME tracker.
While it doesn’t show when traded to a different HOME trainer, it shows back up when traded back.
(anyhow, even if it eventually disappears, that just the UI doesn’t show them. The info is likely still on their server)

Has anyone ever found any legit Pokemon in here? Non-GS ball Celebi in Gen II would be pretty cool ;(
Just so you know, the “ball caught in” isn’t stored in Gen 2><

Hi.
I'm trying to edit my UM save file but PkHex won't load it, giving me the error below. I'm using the latest pkHex version and I copy the file to my PC via FTPD 3.1.0
Thanks for any help in advance!
00000001.sav are typically encrypted saves extracted from the SD card directly. I’m assuming yours is that too.
PKHeX can’t work with console encrypted saves.
You’ll need to extract the save from your system using an appropriate save manager, like JKSM or Checkpoint, then only then transfer it to your computer. Do note you’re definitely going to need CFW to do that.
We have guides on our site on how to use JKSM/Checkpoint:

I was asking about emulators but I figured it out thank you though!
It technically should exist for emulators, since people do TAS on emulators
-
There’s a raspberry pi board + clamp that can do it for you on a 3DS, if I’m not mistaken.
However, whether it’s still sold is another story.

Thank you for the help! I'll get to looking through this.
That being said Do you have an idea why PKSM wouldn't accept the PID from the Japanese Mew?
It’s likely not just the PID. Everything doesn’t match. The PID-IV and stats are correlated, and something in the correlation is broken.

Apologise it was late.
And Yes I want my Mew to be my own.
What I want to do is get this Mew from the Japanese Rom into Real Hardware so I can get it upto Scarlet and Violet.
Since I don't know how to get it out of the ROM
I planned to recreate it on PKSM so it would be identical.
But to my frustration the PID won't match up,
I found a PID for the Mew I wanted and gave the Mew in PKSM the same Language, IV's, and TID/SID that match the PID I found....but when I put in the PID it keeps changing the Nature and Shininess.
I don't know what to do.
Plus it keeps saying "Invalid: encounter type PID mismatched"
My guess is I'm using the wrong Encounter Type with is why the PID is not matching up.
But that doesn't make sense since my Japanese Mew on the ROM is Legal and uses the same PID I'm trying to give to the Mew on PKSM.
Can you transfer it to any Game that can extract the Mon? I assume you have a modded 3DS hence why you’re on PKSM.
You could use JKSM or Checkpoint to extract a save file, for use with PKHeX. We have tutorials that cover both. This is for JKSM: -
While that helps them create a Mew, it doesn't really solve the problem at heart.
It sounds like they want to create their own Mew using their own TID/SID.(unless they don't mind what you've given)
@Mew1511993 in any case, if you have access to the Japanese Emerald save, you can use PKHeX to load the save and extract the Mew.
Or did you mean you're attempting to create the Mew from scratch?
-
are you able to get a PK3 or it or something?
-
first, do all this in PKHeX.
Next, PID, Natures, IVs are linked in Gen 3. Without fail.
Break the link by changing it to something different and you'll get PID Mismatch.
Next, PIDIVs generated has to be Method 1, not any other method.
Why don't you show us what PID you're trying to get? -
Legitimately no.
however if you load PKHeX in “Hax mode” (check startup options) it would be possible; PKHeX would provide the best guess and convert down for you.

Question 1:
Not sure if I should ask legality question here but I got an issue about the 'Encounter type PID mismatch', missing OT memory or Geo problem.I don't see the missing OT memory or Geo Problem, but for all your uploaded Pokemon, they all have modified IVs, hence encounter type mismatch.
QuoteQuestion 2:
Does 'invalid move' block the Pokémon transfer to HOME?No clue, don't risk it.
QuoteQuestion 3:
Does changing the 'Encryption constant' also count as mod? As I know if change in PID cannot be play online event...It is something you cannot achieve in-game, so yes, it is an significant edit.

As of HOME v3.1.0
With the recent announcement that Bank might be on borrowed time (source), I’m trying to figure out how possible it is to transfer up without Bank. Is it currently viable to transfer Pokémon from USUM -> SWSH/BDSP/PLA/SV -> HOME using a modded 3DS and Switch + PKHeX?From what I’m gathering from previous comments, I’m guessing not. Even with a zeroed out home tracker, some data will not be properly stored in Home causing strange behavior?
Please correct me if I’m misunderstanding. Thanks!
A illegal but plausible way is to have the Mon enter HOME from SWSH. It generates data correctly when done so, but HOME can detect and track back that you’ve done so. This is also only limited to species that exist in SWSH.

It's a tutor move in sword and shield.
But moves from other games get reset when transferred in SV
-
Quick question, how do they learn that move in SV?
-
HxD to edit data blocks extracted from PKHeX.
Anyhow I can confirm it can be done:

Would the Sav.dat be it? I'm still new to all of this and just honestly confused.
that would have been the file, but it is mostly blank, as though there wasn't a game played on it.
-
yeah 00000001.sav isn't the actual save.
Gotta dump it with Checkpoint or JKSM. This file is normally encrypted and we can't do anything with it.
If you want your saves to continue working (if they even work at this point), absolutely don't mess with that file. -

So there's no way to change them in bulk? Also, what about the country and sub region? Would I be able to change those without a problem as well?
you can change them in bulk using the the batch editor. change all non-fateful encounter and non-cherish ball stuff to your OT
-
Editing OT prior to sending them to HOME is fine.

Managing GBA Saves: Extracting and Injecting Save for Bootleg GBA Pokémon Carts
in Saves - Guides and Other Resources

a) not sure how gbx would work
b) this method is for unofficial/bootleg carts. Don’t know. How it’ll interact with official carts. Furthermore it’s not guaranteed to work with every kind of bootleg cart.
