  1. Can PKHeX open the edited save?
  2. You could simply overwrite your save instead of making copies, but if you corrupt the save, you'll have no backup. If you want to do it in a way that you lose your progress permanently if the save is corrupt, then be my guest.
  3. Hence why the save is not usable with PKHeX. You could try losing the battle, and pray that the whole time you try to KO yourself, it doesn't use Aqua Ring. Maybe constantly make state saves at every turn of the battle (at your own risk, keep a backup of your existing state saves). I don't think Citra can make RAM dumps right? In any case, nothing more we can do, if you didn't save your game in-game.
  4. I'm guessing you never saved in-game before this, hence why PKHeX won't load the save.
  5. Did you save in-game? (read the note near the end)
  6. Who knows if it's an issue with your dumping or conversion, but it resulted in a save that is too big. Use a hex editor to trim it down. (I trimmed it to this size) And now it loads.
  7. erm.. because those static encounters you tested are shiny locked? Like I said in the disclaimer: You can view the status of XY static encounters and gifts here: https://projectpokemon.org/home/gallery/album/901-x-static-encounter-and-gift-tables/
  8. Presumably not enough, since there’s been no updates since last year.
  9. If you pirated the game, there’s no help we can offer, as it is against our rules. Pokemon is known to be buggy and filled with soft locks on Citra. Nothing we can do. Go to their support forums. Or do as I said earlier: play the game on your 3DS
  10. Those mons were illegal to begin with. PKHeX flagged them correctly. Users just were stubborn about keeping it. We can't control what people want or don't want to do. Enuff said.
  11. play the game on your 3DS
  12. I'm guessing this is about LGPE. In that case, the answer is no.
  13. Part yes, and part no. It's a legitimate transfer move. Unless you have the move in circumstances that you shouldn't have the move, there's nothing to show that it's altered data (in that case)... Also, I've said the conditions of the bans before. So far, nothing has changed. What you've said doesn't match the scenario I've previously listed.
  14. You can legitimately bring the move over. You're only forced to delete it if you wanna make the mon Battle Ready. It's a legitimate transfer move, why would that flag you as having altered data, unless you gave it to a Pokemon caught in Gen 8 that shouldn't have access to the move?
  15. take a save that has Game Sync ID, then edit it to make it yours. It's hard to do "before and after" tests to see what was set, when as you said, we've got no way to connect to servers to get a real ID. Tho, you could try doing a trade or battle online, see if you get assigned one.
  16. connect to their servers. Maybe receive a Mystery Gift or any other online thing, if I'm not mistaken. Game Sync IDs are usually assigned automatically.
  17. Banned for ban evasion. Note: This is not the user's first attempt at ban evasion here. His original ban involved harassing mods (and it's not limited to that). He has also been banned on Discord for trolling, harassing mods, ban evading. Also, this behavior of his is not new. He's been banned from a slew of other sites, dating as far back as 2011. Him being banned again now is not a coincidence.. edit: Unlocked the thread, and moved it to off-topic>debate forum, so people can talk about his BS.
  18. git gud. All joking aside, you'll need the ability to read and patience; after all, you're trying to work with all information gathered over the past 10 years. Or you can just ignore legality checks and use illegal stuff. Not recommended, but if it's single player offline play, who cares right? (also, the PIDIV issue extends to mons that have Gen 3 or Gen 4 as origin game. Doesn't matter to Pokemon caught in future games) For starters, we have a tutorial for it:
  19. Because.. You changed the IVs. That's the issue. As I said, Gen 3 has PIDIV legality. If you don't like the one that's here, either learn how to deal with PID Mismatch, or catch your own ><
  20. Well, don't recreate one. If you're trying to create Gen 3 mon's by hand, you'll likely mess up the PIDIV portion of its legality. Just use an already caught one. I've got one in a Gen 3 save here.
  21. I think they are talking about any altered data. But realistically, combining resource consumption and detectability, they are presently only bringing the hammer down on super obvious stuff. Whether they decide to push forward, is something only they themselves would know for sure. Well, it's kinda easy to find (if they decide to look for it). It's basically a mon with a species ID that isn't available in SWSH. Also, being in nursery isn't safe; they fixed Alolan mons with invalid moves (due to GO->HOME move transfer nonsense) anywhere in the save, even in nursery. They can see every aspect of your save, if they really wanted to.
  22. Same difference. The "egg met location" from Gen 3 isn't transferred up. Heck, Gen 3 don't even have an egg met location anyway.. Gen 3 hatches cannot have Safari Ball. Gen 3 hatches are Poke Ball only. Also depending on what species, some cannot be hatched in Safari Ball, simply because you cannot catch the parent with a safari ball. Note: Any mon that you can catch in SWSH, can be caught in Safari Ball. So those species can be bred in SWSH, and have Safari Ball.
  23. Here's something you need to know: Gen 3 hatched status don't get transferred into Gens beyond Gen 3.
  24. Quick question, what origin game is the egg, and what game save are you trying to edit?
  25. PKHeX can inject wonder cards tho..?
