  1. in the future, don't edit the backup, but rather edit a copy of the backup (basically make a copy of the backup folder). this way, your backup stays in unedited (and uncorrupted), and you can restore the the working backup, in case an edited copy is corrupted. Also I've not heard JKSV messing up with restores. Perhaps try an older copy. I can't recall which version I'm working, but it definitely works for me. (I think I'm on an older version)
  2. are you on the latest version of JKSV? Also mind sending me a copy of a working backup?
  3. How are you transferring the save to your PC?
  4. I don't know what you're doing, but that file *isn't a save*. Of course restoring it will cause corruptions; you weren't restoring a save file. How are you editing the properly backed up save file?
  5. can you open that file in PKHeX? The one that you just sent me. edit: Just gonna tell you upfront, this is not a save file.
  6. and restoring that is causing the game to be corrupted, right? can you zip up the hope folder, and send it here?
  7. wrong folder. I said inside the folder. The folder that holds the save.
  8. Do you mind taking a screenshot of inside the folder that you're trying to restore into the game? The location that has the save.
  9. Starting February 19th, 2021, players that visit GameStop and access the Pokémon Pass app on their mobile devices can collect a free serial code for a shiny Toxtricity. It was not indicated on the poster that it has Gigantamax. (Not that it truly matters, just give it Max Soup) Form for this is also not known. Unknowns include, if only one form will be distributed, if form distributed correlates with version, etc. While Pokémon Pass will only give out serial codes to those that visit GameStop stores in the US, since the Switch isn't region locked, the codes can be claimed by anyone across the world. 10. Download instructions at the bottom of the first post.
  11. is it possible that you're using a version of the plugin that is not compatible with the version of PKHeX you have? Usually after PKHeX updates, the plugin needs to update in order for it to run..
  12. If you can’t get the edited save to load, then you’re doing something wrong. It’s unrelated to cute charm abuse. Create your own thread and ask for help there. Don’t stick up the comments here.
  13. What is the name of your save file?
  14. try the app I linked.
  15. It's not specific to that title, you know... Just open the most recent one, than DL as per the title showed. @Ixemaa stop posting the same thing everywhere else. You can post it here. This is a dedicated PK3DS thread.
  16. it's possible that there is no legality checks for some of the event Mew right now.
  17. try: https://dev.azure.com/project-pokemon/pk3DS/_build?definitionId=11 edit: looks like you're looking at the same page. It appears fine to me..

A simple program for those who struggle with the tutorial guide for shiny Cute Charm abuse. Really easy to use. Input Specifics (if you care), then hit Generate, then input the TID/SID for your trainer into your save, and ensure your cute charm lead has the right gender. Note: This program will not generate a bunch of different TID/SID pairs. It was programmed to only have one pair per option. If you want different pairs from what's listed, follow the guide. Prerequisite: Ability to read, able to edit saves with PKHeX, able to backup and restore (edited and unedited) saves from your device/emulator.
  19. either you did not export the edited save from PKHeX, or you did not restore the edited save back into your game. It's not Rocket science; all you need is an edited TID/SID, and a cute charm mon in the lead with the correct gender. Until you can restore edited save properly, there isn't much for you to figure out.
  20. I'm more likely to catch before bringing forward.
  21. upload the file.

Details for Index 54 of normal_encount and normal_encount_rigel1 and normal_encount_rigel2 (minor differences, in raid chance) Rewards for Index 54 of normal_encount and normal_encount_rigel1 and normal_encount_rigel2 (minor differences, in raid chance) Details for Index 54 of dai_encount Rewards for Index 54 of dai_encount
  23. Either your save file isn't actually a save file (some people dump it wrong, don't save in-game etc; thus data doesn't match a save's format), or PKHeX cannot recognize it as a Pokemon save file, due to certain modifications a ROM hack does to it. Tho if it was a save from purely a randomizer, then it is likely the former.
