  1. It's either (a) you're not pasting the edited copy into Checkpoint's folder, or (b) you didn't export the edited save from PKHeX, or (c) you didn't restore the save correctly with Checkpoint. Here's a few things to try: (i) After you pasted the edited save into Checkpoint's folder, try loading it in PKHeX to check if the edits are there. If it's not, it means you did not paste an edited save into the folder (a). (ii) After you export the edited save from PKHeX onto your desktop, close PKHeX, then launch a fresh window of PKHeX, and load the edited save into it, to check if the edits are indeed there. If it's not, it means you did not export the edited save correctly from PKHeX (b) (iii) If you confirm it's not (a) or (b), then it's likely (c). Try restoring saves from past backups [that happens to be on your SD card], then load the game.
  2. Export the file from PKHeX onto your Desktop. Only then, replace the file on your SD card with a copy of the edited exported save. also make sure your SD's write protection is off.
  3. Here's another 50
  4. Thread in wrong sub-forum. Thread moved.
  5. a) If you rename it .dsv during the exporting process, it should save as a .dsv b) Desmume actually accepts .sav files. Hello, did you not realize the exporting process made a .sav file? (That's the exact format you claimed to have wanted. Though, I do know Desmume directly deals with .dsv, so you're kinda wrong in that declaration) c) I did say Desmume actually accepts .sav file. I don't know which version of the emulator you're on, but it's an option that is similarly named to this one (to import .sav):
  6. What emulator are you using? What format are you trying to obtain?
  7. Based on what your said, you are playing platinum. It will save as a .sav, but PKHeX will recognize it to be sav4pt. BTW what do you mean "unable to open any saves from pkhex", you mean unable to load the modified saves in an emulator?
  8. Alternatively, using a pre-collected copy, you could drop *only* it's current level to 10 (keep the met level at 50). It would be flagged illegal until it reaches 50, but it'll probably be legal after 50. You could simply ignore the legality errors for it until then.
  9. As far as I can tell, all of the Mythical events via Special Research in GO (ignoring GO fest day quests) has been time gated up to this point. (It appears that the paid Genesect day ticket is the exception) Additionally, they have said something to the effect of "this Mew quest is meant to take time". (They even said so in the initial announcement, before people decided to pay for tickets (if they did). So frankly, whether anyone thinks it's fair or not is up to each individuals' interpretation, but at the very least, one should approach this (and in some cases, should have approached this) with reasonable expectations; it's not like past instances and their official statement didn't lay it all out for us.. [Additionally, ignoring the fact of whether you paid, some may argue that Shiny Mew, given how limited/rare/exclusive it is, should not be easy to obtain]
  10. Yup, there could still be more "waiting" past that stage. Even if you rushed the first stage, you're stuck at the second stage with a time lock. Who is to say there isn't any more time locks
  11. well you won't be able to make a legal one at level 10.
  12. Once you managed to load your save, rather than create one from scratch, just use one in the database. Once you get that screen with all the Diancie, just Right Click and View. It'll send the Diancie data into the viewer (the left side of PKHeX)
  13. omg. Not the ROM (.3DS). The save. If you cannot even load your save on PKHeX, you'll definitely not get it into your game on Citra
  14. How bout you load your Y save into PKHeX first?
  15. To add on to my previous point https://www.serebii.net/pokemongo/masterworkresearch/all-in-one151.shtml Indicates a 30 day wait. what great fun.
  16. It's not out yet. To be more specific, the quest is available, but owning a Shiny Mew in GO is impossible at the moment. Part of the quest is to send 151 gifts to friends. (And that's just quest part 1) Which one cannot reasonably do in the next few days..
  17. maybe if someone hosts their own server, then writes a patch to the program to connect to their server. But it is rather unnecessary in my view; every 3DS in existence can be hacked. Thus, it is not difficult for users to install CFW on their device and extract saves without using an external tool.
  18. More codes:
  19. unrelated. Also I'm not sure if such a method exists.
  20. I've not checked. Given it's a form that can be obtained in battle, I was less interested in it, tbh.
  21. I managed to get a lot of codes via spoofing and signing in to multiple accounts. At least for this distribution, that's still working. They could try to patch it out, but who knows what the future would bring..
  22. yeah that seems to be one of the present ways to do it.
  23. I don't enjoy being the bearer of bad news, but it's possible that your cart (or part of the ROM data) died. I can't say for sure that PKSM messed up your save. If the issue was only a save being corrupt, you should be able to reset the save via loading the game. However, it appears that even vanilla devices have issues loading the cart (based on the picture you showed us). This suggests the cart, or the ROM data, is dead/impacted to some extent.. Hard to determine who that culprit is, but there's a chance that PKSM was innocent and was trying to load your save while your cart/data died. At the very least, it appears the ROM header is fine, since the logo shows up on the 3DS, so that is good news. Tho, it remains that a vanilla 3DS cannot even boot your cart. At this stage, I don't know what you can do. Try scouring the net for similar issues, and see if they got it resolved. (Also, if your cart cannot be loaded properly on a vanilla 3DS, then I doubt the save [if it even exists] can be extracted by a CFW 3DS) In the mean time, I'll leave this thread open, in case anyone have any crucial information to chip in.
  24. yes, megas don't exist in SWSH. That is incorrect. The code is not in the game. Hence those mons literally don't exist. The only thing leftover are their names, and maybe ability name. Those mons will have the wrong stats, and wrong model (a default Pikachu or egg model). So don't add them into your save. Yup, they are not. Such a bypass is not known. It has to be caught again and again, between saves. Either that, or never turn off the game. This way, you only need to catch it once
  25. The primal forms presently don't exist in SWSH, so no. (basically, you can't add mons with the species and form ID or stuff that doesn't exist in SWSH) You're gonna need to try another method. Maybe save editing the overworld spawns, or save editing the event Max Raids, or ROM editing the Max Raids. Save editing Eternamax into your party is a no-no. If Eternatus has Eternamax form, upon loading the save, it will revert to the regular form automatically. That is just the way the game is programmed, to prevent the player from having an Eternamax form (even a hacked one) (I detailed that here)
