  1. Serial Codes are for Mystery Gifts in XY now. This event is most likely more than just a single shipment, so they will probably get more stock.
  2. Wonder Card Mystery Gifts via Serial Code, yes. Don't see how that makes them less exclusive than whatever you thought it was.
  3. I'm not sure because I intentionally know very little about Walmart. ...
  4. Labeled copies of X and Y sold at Walmart stores now contain a Serial Code to download Garchomp (included with X) or Scizor (included with Y). The the Serial Codes are valid from Nov 27, 2013 until June 30, 2014. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Pokemon-X-Wal-Mart-Exclusive-Nintendo-3DS/33060453 Details for these events are still unknown. If you get one, please post the details of the Pokemon here, as well as photos of Wonder Card and Distro text (as described in this thread) and the Serial Code card (don't show us the serial code before you redeem it). If you could, please soft reset a number of times to test to see if Gender and Nature are set or are random. It's also likely/possible that these will have specific distro text for French and Spanish. If you have access to any of the packet capturing tools, feel free to contribute a pkx file or details related to secret ID number, etc. via: http://www.gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=217906
  5. I'm the one that let him know his translator missed those details.
  6. No, it isn't. It's a region marker. Wherever you read that, it's wrong.
  7. I didn't see anything, but it is most likely still a cartridge in a console (which is Local Wireless). Aren't the Animal Crossing ones at Nitendo Zones done through SpotPass anyway? There WAS some kind of hotspot there which made my console have internet access... and it allowed me to see my 3DS Friends List (I didn't configure anything in my connection settings)... I saw codemonkey85 was playing A Link Between Worlds, for example. So since it required no configuration from me but got full internet access, it might have been a Nintendo Zone hot spot. But this event, like Gen IV and V, was gotten through the "Get through Local Wireless" option on the Mystery Gift menu, in-game.... not through the Internet, or through NintendoZone app or through SpotPass.
  8. Here are my photos from my trip to the new Pokemon Center yesterday (Saturday): http://imgur.com/a/oz2W6 I can also back up what SnorlaxMonster posted. I (as well as a few friends) were able to download the Inkay on our North American games/consoles as well as our Japanese consoles (pictures of both in above gallery). As expected, the distribution text and WC title were in Japanese, and WC text was in English. Nature, Ability, and Gender are all random. I've added the details to the Event Gallery entry here: Tokyo Bay Inkay
  9. Nope. Anyway, your pokemon was likely leveled up to level 26 in a single battle, then evolved. Therefore it skipped the moves it learns before 26 as a Kadabra.
  10. I can confirm they are region locked as well (based on your cartridge and console region, not game language)
  11. I have no idea, because I think the game is awful. It's a children's version of Battrio. It is basically: press the button as fast as you can! and Stop the Roulette! And arcade games are expensive. So I've never really paid attention to Tretta. But the website says this about the Tretta chip: フェス3弾をプレイして筐体から出てきた「ソーナンス」のトレッタ(ノーマルクラス/スーパークラス) I don't know enough about Tretta lingo to really understand the first part, but it says that either a Normal Class Wobbuffet Tretta or a Super Class Wobbuffet is eligible. Good luck!
  12. There is a new Wobbuffet in the new set of Tretta tokens in Pokemon Tretta. If a player gets this from the game, it can be taken to World Hobby Fair or the Pokemon Card Game Battle Festa and redeemed for an in-game XY Wobbuffet Mystery Gift. No other specific details about the Wobbuffet are available yet. http://www.pokemontretta.com/event/e131115_4/index.html Dates: Pokemon Card Game Battle Festa: December 15th and 23rd World Hobby Fair - January 15th (Nagoya), January 25th and 26th (Makuhari Messe), February 2nd (Fukuoka), February 9th (Osaka)
  13. I got mine and updated the Gallery with the details My Garchomp imgur gallery Event Gallery entry
  14. I talked to wraith89 and got some more details from that page, updated first post.
  15. My last post was made from my tablet, so it was a bit brief. I can explain a little bit better now. The webpage in question was the one outlining the rules for the kid's Dragon King tournament. It said Pokemon with that blue pentagon mark could be used and that the mark meant it was "Pokemon obtained through normal play in the Kalos region." People who read that focused on the "normal play" bit, but I wondered why it said "Kalos region" and dug for more info. In the more detailed regulations, it said pokemon from the national dex 001-718 could be used (excluding the usual legendaries) but that Pokemon brought in through Pokemon Bank/Transporter could NOT be used (suggesting these pokemon would not have the blue pentagon mark). In conclusion: I do not think pkx files have any kind of byte or mark or anything on them that is the result of an in-game hack check. I believe that mark is a visual representation of the region where the pokemon was encountered.
  16. The information was translated incompletely for Serebii. I read the website and informed him. He has made an update. I am convinced it is a region marker.
  17. It looks like Korea will be getting their own version of the Japanese birthday events (minus Pikachu), or extremely similar. (update: turns out it's just Sylveon) http://movie.pokemonkorea.co.kr/M16/present.asp I can't read Korean, so I'm hoping one of our users can translate this information. These will most likely be distributed at the movie. It looks like more details of the Pokemon will be revealed on Nov 20 and Nov 28. Edit: I talked with Wraith89 and he said the event is a movie ticket pre-order event and that it is only Sylveon. I'm not sure on the dates of this event or even when the movie opens in Korea (any further details would be great). Pokemon: Sylveon Gender: Level: 10 OT: 이브이하우스 (Eevee House) ID: SID: Ability: Cute Charm Nature: Moves: Disarming Voice Baby-Doll Eyes Quick Attack Draining Kiss Item: Weakness Policy Pokeball: Cherish Ball Ribbon: Event Ribbon Location: Dates: 9 January 2014 - 15 January 2014 Game Distribution: XY Distribution Type: IR (assumed) Distribution Location: CGV Theatres (Gangbyeon, Guro, Incheon, East Suwon, Daejeon, Daegu, Seomyeon, Gwangju) Sources: http://movie.pokemonkorea.co.kr/M16/present.asp It looks like there's a couple more pieces of info available on the page... asking wraith for clarification.
  18. So is it hacked or is it bred? If you actually bred it, what did you breed it with to get Thunder Punch? The B2W2 National Dex guide does not list Thunder Punch as one of its moves. Nor does any other website. Are you sure you aren't mixing up the data that you're looking at?
  19. This isn't the correct place to ask a question like this. But for battles via Friend Code, the PID for shiny doesn't matter. And just in case: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?15396-Project-Pok%E9mon-does-NOT-support-CHEATING
  20. Yes, I had added that to the description as well.
  21. Okay, I uploaded an up-to-date version of the zip'd collection. Due to the high number of events this generation, they are now organized by Language, rather than Event name (less folders this way).
  22. Thanks for the info on this! I've added an extra description to the entry in the Gallery. Feel free to post your pictures, regardless of it being the same.
  23. Thanks, I got them all straightened out. Somehow, I didn't get a notification for your post, so I didn't see this message right way. Dunno why.
  24. Contributed Text: (please feel free to point out any errors)
