  1. New game updates change the save size/format. So PKHeX needs to be updated to handle the new format. There is no ETA. Just be patient and try to enjoy the game without PKHeX until then.

  2. There’s always information to check and collate. No ETA. Wait patiently.

I was trying to drag my pokemon violet save file to PKHeX (updated 3.0.0 Indigo Disk), but it's pop out a warning that says Input File Is Too Large, I check my save file is 4332 KB. 8. PKhex does not support the new patch. My question is, are the new games harder to extract data from than the older 3DS era games?

  10. Not possible as saves are stored on the console not the cartridge. You could use an unbanned modded switch, transfer the save to it, pull it off the modded switch, mod it, then put it back. I've done that no problem. But that requires a second switch which is obviously cost prohibitive. Edit: Actually thinking more about it, if your Switch is moddable but you just don't want to, you may be able to dump the save data using TegraExplorer. It's like GodMode9 on a 3DS. Still requires a moddable switch and a way to get into RCM but jigs are extremely easy to 3D print or buy. I don't know if you can reinject the save or if you can dump it but it's an avenue to explore. You'd theoretically have full access so I can't see why you shouldn't be able to dump it and decrypt it with some kind of PC tool and your device keys (which you can also dump with TegraExplorer)

  11. Hello, I am having issues with loading Pokemon Scarlet savefiles into the latest edition of PkHex. I am certain I am just getting the save files, as I am doing a direct import straight from JKSV. The file is 4333 KB, which appears to just be slightly too much for PkHex to load. How can I reduce this in Scarlet? Because in violet, the save from JKSV in the same manner is 4303 KB and PkHex can open that save. Images provided.
