  1. Disclaimer: This was originally posted on GBATemp, but decided to also create a thread here. This program is a WIP, it's pretty stable for Gen VI and VII games. However it can fail at any time. Make a save backup of your games before using this tool. I will not take responsibility for any save corruption, loss of data or banning from Nintendo. What is this application? PKMN-NTR is a on-the-air memory editing program for pokémon games in the Nintendo 3DS. In other words, is a mini-PKHeX that works while the game is running. It also has some bots capable of automate tasks like Wonder Trading pokémon or Breeding. Which games are compatible? Pokémon X Pokémon Y Pokémon Omega Ruby Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Pokémon Sun Pokémon Moon All games need to be updated to the latest version and .NET Framework 4.6 is also needed. Pokémon Sun and Moon are compatible using Mode3-NTR. What it can do? Dump and edit pokémon from boxes, Day Care/Nursery, Battle Box and Party using PKHeX interface. See wild opponent pokémon and your partner's pokémon during a trade. Clone and delete pokémon. Inject pokémon from a *.pkx file in your computer. Edit Items and Trainer Data. Bots for Breeding, Soft-reset and Wonder Trade. Search pokémon in the 3DS' RAM with Poké Digger. Build your own mini-bots with the Script Builder. How do I use it? Read the wiki. Look for your 3DS' IP address using FBI or an FTP client. Start NTR-CFW (Use Mode-3 if you want to use a Gen 7 game in an old 3DS). If you want to use bots, enable InputRedirection. Open your game, both retail and digital version are supported. Enable the NTR debugger. Go to PSS / Festival Plaza. Connect to Internet. In your computer, start PKMN-NTR.exe. Input the IP Address of your Nintendo 3DS. Click on the Connect button Enjoy the application! 2. PID is just a number that is used in some generations to derive Nature / Gender / Ability / Form (gen3 only). It's just a random 32 bit value, any number is valid. PID-IV combinations are another story; they vary per generation and origin console and only matter for gen3/4. PKHeX does not do any PID-IV relationship when picking a PID; it only generates for Nature/Gender/Ability/Form. Adding in IVs and a RNG method would result in many impossible IV setups... hence it's up to the user to manually pick a PID for their IVs if that's something they really care about.

  3. I think OP is referring to the overworld effect, where having Suction Cup Pokemon as lead while fishing increases chances of a Pokemon being hooked. (not about preventing Roar from working) In any case, never heard about it not working. Did you try chain fishing near a corner/limited water area, and what is the max chained hooks?

  4. When fishing? Then I have to try to use Roar to a wild Octillery? Ok, I'll try. -EDIT- Works however, tried in italian Diamond, I used an Entei with Roar againist a fished Octillery and Suction cups protected it from Roar.

  5. For Gen 3/4, I'll say you can consider using Pokegen to get a PID, then copy the PID to PKHeX, and apply the correct IVs and Nature (and gender I think) into the PK6, as described by Pokegen.

  6. Just tried on italian Platinum, Suction Cups works, wild Luxio used Roar againist my Cradily and stayed on the floor with Suction cups!

  7. 3.0 stable version is up: https://github.com/drgoku282/PKMN-NTR/releases/tag/3.0.6272 Compared with last stable, well a lot of changes, it now uses PKHeX.Core to edit pokémon. GUI was reworked entirely, now most tools will open a new window. Compared with beta version it just adds a warning in the trainer editor and navigation with the tab key is improved.

  8. Whoa, wall of text. Space out your posts, dang! It sounds like you're affected by the second ban, the one related to game sync (Wonder-guard Arcanine tipped me off). Going to answer your post part by part. For starters, I'm not sure if traded Pokemon won't get you banned. I would tell you not to risk it, but if you have to, OT, TID, SID of traded Pokemon would be different from your main save (for obvious reasons), and your save's trainer's name would be the Latest NotOT Handler. If it's legal, Pokemon Bank would accept it. My National Dex in Pokemon Bank and in Sun Moon (the game does record what you have seen and obtained, just doesn't display it) is complete with all possible Pokemon, and I ain't banned (yet) Just in case I haven't mentioned it (I feel like I have, in the other thread), we don't know the specifics of how one gets banned. (it's not like we work for Game Freak, and it's not like they listed out clearly what leads to people getting banned) It is possible that once you game synced, they may compare before and after saves (on their server), against other variables in the save that we have yet to document, to see if you legitimately obtained everything. No one will be able to give you a definite answer and no one will be responsible for you being banned, if you still somehow got banned. I don't use PKHeX on my main cart, and I trade over whatever items I need for my personal game play, as I know trades count are logged. PKHeX does tons of things, and that's one of it.
