Or the thing for Arceus (it's been a while). This makes me think that the relevant data is already inside the target games. Granted, it could work differently for the prototype but it's probably not too different.

The Mystery Gift checks for game serial. In the Japanese Pearl you can find a list at 0x30F7D8 and only those serials will be accepted. That was the very purpose for it I was thinking the restriction is either implemented by: The Japanese Gen4 games searching for friend function also checks GBA slot for a particular game ID to work with or there's a flag that represents language lock. edit: I'll say tearing apart a NDS rom and see how the NDS rom recognizes the GBA cart will help bigly.

Though that egg has some pretty screwed up English, so it's not an official event, to say the least. Oh, I extracted it and viewed it in @Grovyle91's Mystery Gift Editor. (not viewed in PKHeX). when I think about it, it's also displaying the wrong Received date. At least Azure Sea Chart bothered to explain in the title that it is Mystery Gift Test via AGB Version, with correct received date is stored.

@Ammako thats an interesting breakdown of the AR codes. It's highly likely these key items already have their own hard coded event beyond activating the flag. Regarding the second card, glitchy goodness: the card I deleted previously was a Regigigas, before I proceeded, but it looks.. partially revived? That doesn't make sense right. Unless the second glitchy card revives cards, then perhaps if you received a manaphy egg before this, it reactivates it? Doesn't sound like how programming works; sounds more like magic lol

Yep! I was able to take all of my Pokemon and put them into PKHex and save each box as a bin file to put on sun and moon once bank hits. Thanks!
