  • PKHeX is a save editor for core-series Pokémon games. With it, users can manipulate various save files including: .sav, .dsv, .dat, .gci, .raw, and .bin types. PKHeX can also read and write: .pk files, which are individual Pokémon files, and .pgt, .pcd, .pgf, .wc, wcfull, which are Mystery Gift files.

Version 25.11.06 of PKHeX has been released, fine tuning support for Pokemon Legends: Z-A's, and adding other save editing functions. Do not report issues with this release's handling with legality/encounters.

PKHeX now requires the .NET Desktop Runtime 9.0 to run. If you receive an error when trying to run, ensure you have it installed.

Please note that other related applications will still require time to update, and updated versions of plugins or SysBot may not be available immediately.

When i edit flag 180 (diancite) and 182(mewtwo) i cant throw pokeballs its like my item is bugged or something ill try to use the older version if i have the same result

Moderator edit: Item issue has been fixed with the 25.11.07 release shortly after you posted; please re-download the program. For the event flags, be sure you are editing the right tab; verify the flag name, not index.

Is there a chance we can get visibility into our stored shinies? Is there location data available?

I'm running PKHex on my handheld R36S Clone (Ark 2.0). It saves as .SRM

If I convert it to SAV PKHex picks it up.

The problem is trying to get the updated file back on the device.

It exports as .SAV & I changed file extension to .SRM.

When I boot up the device it can't see any save states and doesn't have continue game as an option. Only "New game".

    Any help appreciated.

    • Since they released over a decade ago, the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games for the Nintendo DS have not had much in the way of ROM editors. Over the past few years, hackers have slowly learned more and more about the inner workings of the games, culminating in the most advanced PMD editor to date: Sky Temple.

SkyTemple is a user-friendly level editor for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky that gives the user full control over graphics, scripts, Pokémon data, and more, enabling a great amount of creative freedom to prospective ROM hackers to create not just edits of the game, but entirely new levels and plots.
