Platinum Rebattle Codes

When I use my old codes, only the Trainer Cafe gets blocked, the Battle Fontier is still open.

The fixed ones unlock the Trainer Cafe, I just tried.

For the Battle Frontier, it may be caused by another rebattle code.

What codes did you use ?

OK, I found it, the problem is caused by the Rebattle Uxie and Azelf code.

After some research, I found that Azelf and Uxie events are located on the last 2 bits of the value.

So here's the fixed code, that sould fix your problem :

Uxie and Azelf

Press Start + Select before entering the Lake Acuity or Valor Caves.

I have trouble getting the Heatran code to work. I tried pressing Start+Select, while entering the room, and releasing once entered. I also tried pressing it once, and then releasing, and entering.

Is there something I'm missing?

Edit: Nevermind, it was just finicky. After about 15 tries it ended up working, no idea why it didn't earlier.

Ummm Hi, me again ;p

I had encountered the same problems of not having access to the frontier and crasher wake in stark mountain,

and I used that azelf and uxie code and fixed those glitches, but its still those two codes of the fixed2 dialga and palkia code not working, because the azure flute always activates when i hover over the flute in mt. coronet.

Is there anything you can help with?

I'm having some problems with the following codes, some minor, some major. If anybody could take a look at them and figure out how to fix them or tell me what I might be doing wrong, I'd appreciate it.

Mesprit:

This code causes the rival to vanish from his usual location in the Fight Area, and Crasher Wake appears at the foot of Stark Mountain.

This code doesn't seem to work at all. No matter how many times I enter the Spear Pillar, the portal containing Palkia never appears. The Dialga code works fine. I have both orbs in my bag.

This one is a bit touchy. Sometimes Heatran appears. Sometimes it doesn't. I have to exit and re-enter the room a few times to get him to show up, and unlike most (all?) of the other rebattle codes, I can't save the game, remove the Action Replay, load the game, and battle Heatran. It seems that the AR must be present and the code must be turned on for him to appear.

Cresselia:

This code works, but it causes the Lunar Wing key item to drop again. However, the boy in the cabin has already recovered from his nightmare, so you end up permanently stuck with a key item in your pocket that you are supposed to get rid of as part of the story. This does not seem to have any effect on gameplay, but it would be a nice thing to have fixed.

Darkrai:

This code seems to be fine. IIRC, when I was first attempting to catch Darkrai, defeating and respawning it normally would cause that inn caretaker to reappear and transport you to Newmoon Island himself. This code opens the inn, but the caretaker isn't there. Instead, you have to take the boat to Newmoon Island. I assume that this is normal behavior, and this would be the same way you'd reach the island if you respawned Darkrai via defeating the Elite Four, but I'm not sure on that.

I did not test any codes for Giratina-O at the Distortion World or for Arceus, but the most-recent codes for all of the other legendaries appear to work fine.

Yeah, would be nice to have a fixed version of the Mesprit code. Probably just the exact same coding problem as with Uxie and Azelf. As for the Darkrai and Cresselia codes, perhaps there's just one event flag too many triggered? Surely they probably could be respawned without triggering parts of their scenario (like the Lunar Wing with Cresselia).

Will the rebattle arceus one actually turn on the event?

I've tried like 4 separates codes to turn on the event in my platinum (2 for just the flute, 2 for the flute and supposedly the event) but neither worked. I just pass right by the square and my flute does all of nothing. I've already beat the elite four, but I don't have the nat dex yet (but I never saw this as a listed requirement anyway). Also, I have the DSi AR.

Thats the problem, you need the nat dex. it should be listed as a requirement.

Oh my god!

I used cheats and it caused some problems in my game... i used giratina o, dialga ( fixed ), palkia ( fixed ), Uxie + Azelf ( fixed ), mesprit and cresselia!!!

I have the problems with battle frontier and rival, flint e volkner was in front of battle frontier but with your new cheats it was fixed, i can go in now...But my rival is not outside

of the house in fight area!!! What should i do now???

Not to be a beggar, but I was wondering if somebody could take a look at the codes I posted previously on this page and see if they could find any way to fix them. The Mesprit, Palkia, and Heatran codes are the only ones that are particularly troublesome.

Well the Mesprit code I think I see where the problem is, but I don't know enough about coding to be able to solve it myself:

That's the part of the code where the Uxie/Azelf code seemed to have its problem, so I can only assume that's where the problem lies in the Mesprit code. However someone with much better skills at this would have to figure out what the right code should be (and if I'm right).

As for the other codes that seem to have some odd gremlins in them... Guess we'll just have to see if someone can sort those issues out. Personally I'm waiting for all the codes to be confirmed safe before I use them, just to make sure I don't screw anything up after seeing what problems have been caused so far by them.

I, too, would be interested in a fix to the Heatran code. I found one elsewhere that worked, but only worked once, and I can't figure out why. This is the other code I found. It was advertised to work in any Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum, but I've only tried it in Pt so far.

The Heatran code seems to work perfectly for me every time, but none of the Dialga codes work. I tried the original, the fixed, and the second fixed one and they all don't work.

Mind fixing it up or telling me the problem?? I have the nat dex, beat the elite four, battled it already, and possibly anything else needed.

Also, the Shaymin code does not work for me.

People have been having problems with the re-battle Palkia code. With several problems such as locking the trainers cafe, Blocking the battle frontier and the most common problem, not even working.

Here is the original code and the problem for rebattle palkia.

This section is for dialga at spear pillar but the rest of the code is for palkia so the game gets confused and palkia doesn't appear but by changing it to c4 instead it activates palkia's rift. So here is my new code

I used this code and palkia appears and there isn't any other side effects as far as I know. Now could someone take on my request and find out why my rival disappears from the battle zone when I use the re-battle mesprit code. Also if you use the other code. Do it all BEFORE going to the battle zone so you can unlock everyone. I caught 6 palkia before going to the battle zone where all the problems start immerging.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! I think I just worked out the bugs in the re-battle Mesprit code. Crasher Wake still appears but besides that there are no side effects as far as I know but still use with caution at your own risk

DANGER, DANGER, Use codes at your own risk because I'm still experimenting with them. The intended side effects didn't happen but new ones started to immerge. The main one I found was that Buck is still in Mt. Battle but you can't escort him, and team galactic is in heatrans room so you cannot reach the back. But this one can easily be countered with the re-battle heatran codes. You see My game doesn't get mucked up because I saved a copy of my save file to the computer before I started experimenting so if Ifind a very nasty side effect I can just restore my old profile. Then I will notify you. But If I haven't given the OK and you find a nasty side-effect remember the first sentence I said in this reply

I can't get them to work. I haven't caught them, and they just aren't there. I tried everything I could think of, but it won't work for me. Maybe I need a new action replay, maybe I just need to stop hacking, I don't know. Can you help?

P.S.: I tried holding start + select while entering Azelf's cave, and it didn't work.

i found a weird glitch i have the 7th movie regigigas and i went to the caves that you get the regis and the buttons are gone. and i havent even battled them i have regigigas in my party but still no buttons or statue in the caves you get them. could you try and fix them i used the palkia code fixed dialga code 1st 1 regigigas 1st 1 1st palkia code and i think thats it could some 1 please try to find out whats wrong oh and i havent found any other glitches if i find any more i will reply

or never mind i didnt have the 7th movie regigigas in my party sorry my game somtimes glitches it has had a few bad days lets just say the spot were the screen conects it crackted on 1 side so i found why it wasnt working.
