Hello,

Not sure if intentional or not, but I have two saves from Gen9 (SC and VL). They're in different languages to use Masuda method in my main save (Violet).

I dropped Shiny Miraidon from the Gallery in my non-english save (Scarlet), and then dragged it to Violet (english). I always "Verify All PKMs" and I'm getting the warning Fishy: Handling trainer does not match the expected trainer language. I tried the same with other mons and Miraidon is the only one that doesn't change Language to "ENG (English)" in "Latest (not OT) Handler" automatically, keeping the original language.

Also, by having both shinies in the same save file, you get Invalid: Detected sharing of PID. But they do have the same PID while being legal (unless they're not supposed to when adquired legitimately).

Using PKHeX Development Build 26.1.32+39.

1. Language "should" be matching the save file, unless it was moved directly from HOME after previously residing with the exactly same OT but with a different language. It is marked as Fishy because it is a less-than-likely situation, for manual inspection.

2. Bulk checks are to raise things to your attention, and are not definitive. As you've noted, some events have fixed PID/EC values, but these are not granted as exclusions by the program as it is not implemented as such.

Hello, 3 of my pokemon that were caught at the various xd gale of darkness poke spots are flagged as illegal. PKHeX says it's due to a pid+ correlation mismatch

It's only the 3 pokemon in the pc box surrounded by other non-flagged poke spot encounters. I'm pretty sure most/all of my poke spot pokemon were caught in the same 1 or 2 sessions of play. PKHeX has not been used to alter anything on the save file. None of the shadow, gift or in-game trade pokemon in other boxes were flagged as illegal. These pokemon were just used as fodder for the purify chamber so I had no incentive to modify their attributes.

Sorry for being incompetent but I couldn't figure out how to confirm if specific poke spot pids were obtainable on Eligor 1.12 or the poke spot gen 3 tool on PokeFinder 4.2.1. So it is possible that these pokemon just have flat out unobtainable pid/iv combos.

Only explanation I can think of is if dolphin emu causes illegal pid/iv combos due to non-retail rng calls. In that case, would it be an issue specific to emulated poke spot encounters? I didn't encounter this at all on my dolphin emulator colosseum save file and not on xd apart from the poke spot pokemon. Did I just get lucky? Sorry if this emulator discussion part is not appropriate for this thread, I thought it might be relevant.

Played on dolphin emulator v2512 with no cheat codes.
Screenshots taken from PKHeX 20260227 but I also encountered the same result on 20260228+26 dev build.

Flagged pokemon:

Alolan Raichu is flagged as illegal for having Volt Tackle in Gen 8 when it's Battle Ready. Despite the Battle Ready mark making Alolan Raichu lose Volt Tackle, it can actually keep it if it's put from Pokemon Home into Scarlet and Violet first. Keeping the move on its move list. Move it to Sword and Shield, make it Battle Ready, put it back in SV, then put it back in Sword again and keep Volt Tackle on its move list. Pikachu and regular Raichu do not have this problem, but Alolan Raichu is flagged as illegal when this is done.

Hmm, actually it seems this is internally flagged in Sword and Shield itself. Attempting to trade this Alolan Raichu online fails. Still fully legal but probably best to leave the flag in PKHeX.
