  1. I've finished a fresh JP Emerald playthrough and traded a Clamperl from it again, but PKHeX 20260411 still says "Expected initial trash bytes to match the encounter" despite the OT not being tampered with this time. It only goes away if I click "Clear Trash" when Ctrl-clicking on its OT, but the Mew I caught in the same save have always been "legal" before and after trading and never needing to do this 0367 - パールル - 3962CE86DCC6.pk3 0151 ★ - ミュウ - C08E3BADE68A.pk3
  2. thanks for looking into it! I'm in my 2nd attempt of completing the Dexes in LeafGreen and Emerald but was hoping I could cut down on time by using existing saves modified to my liking to catch the ones I'm missing. Turns out JP saves (for Mew and a 2nd Clamperl evo) are more complicated to deal with than I expected so I'll make a fresh save and then speedrun it instead then
  3. I caught a Clamperl (the 366 file) in JP Emerald and traded it with the Tooth immediately to my main save to fill out the Dex. The Clamperl's shown by PKHeX 20260411 as legal but the Huntail (the 367 file) it evolved into isn't of the 2 errors, the trash-byte one I once encountered when I tried to edit a Mew's OT but I got around that by editing the save's OT before injecting the Old Sea Map. I then used that same save to catch the Clamperl. But then when I traded both over, the Mew (as attached) still came out legal. I've never seen the 2nd error though also, I've noticed PKHeX deeming my Voltorb as "fishy" since 20260306, which I assume is because mine came from 1 of the 3 stationary Voltorbs in New Mauville and PKHeX doesn't have such in its encounter database like with Electrode/Kecleon up to today in 20260411. It never bothered me that much since it's just a Voltorb and still got a legal from the program, but I think might as well bring it up now that I'm actually making a comment 0367 - パールル - 124202AC6D56.pk3 0366 - パールル - 130102AC6D56.pk3 0100 - VOLTORB - D23A3B1246EC.pk3 0151 ★ - ミュウ - 9CD655CC5BD7.pk3
  4. yeah I was wondering about that too, since PKHeX had so many specific flags and constants in it (every single invisible Kecleon for instance) yet nothing Scott-related, which was why I asked since changing the BP count in Misc Edits is so accessible. Glad to see that something like what BlackShark mentioned exists! you're right! I found that constant via the Research tab and edited it; all values checked out even the 13 one lol (Bulbapedia only documents 11 meetings, so I guess the original intention was for 2 more that were eventually scrapped) thanks a lot, you two! update: wow time really flies, can't believe it's been 4 years since I asked on here! Anywho last July Bulbapedia updated their Scott page too and added 2 more encounters, and I kept track during my latest playthrough and sure enough I got the 4 BP fair and square!
  5. I think I may have forgotten to go talk to Scott once or twice in my Emerald playthrough, and so when I talked to him at the Battle Frontier I got only 2 Battle Points. I've also opened up my save with PKHeX but can't seem to find anything related to him so far Aside from editing the amount of BPs I have, is there a way I can edit my save to make it seem like I've talked to Scott all 11 times and get the maximum 3 BPs?
