High_Im_Ama Posted January 1 Share Posted January 1 SERIOUSLY Wanting help! I cannot find online ANYWHERE a fix for this and I am getting this error and many others are too! I am using Yuzu to do a full dump of pokemon sword (DLC 1 and 2 included) Version 1.3.2 and get this every time I try and open the dumped files in PKNX. I have tried with a few versions of pknx too all have the same error. I saw that some people said there are too many files? What files are ok to delete to get it working then? I don't want to delete files/folders that are needed and mess up. If someone can get help with this and get it working I will LITTERALLY pay them! My question now is is it normal that every trainer has like pokemon in 1st Evolution and also wild pokemon. We didnt found till now trainers or wild pokemons who are like fully evolved or are really strong and it makes it like a little bit boring. I mean on the randomizer for the 3ds titles there was like sometimes that your rival has on the start Arceus or like a Charizard. Is it possible to get a really nice mix? I've put the crash report here: https://pastebin.com/umwzX5E3. The message is "Specified argument was out of the range of valid values", but this happens even if I don't change anything. This issue was raised months ago on GitHub here: https://github.com/kwsch/pkNX/issues/343, and someone claimed to have solved it, but was instructed to make a pull request instead of sharing a fixed version, and they seemingly never did that. Dump the exefs and get the main file, should be self explanatory. The program is not able to find it where it's listed. extraginger Posted March 8 Share Posted March 8 Hey, I've tried a few different times to get PLA to randomize. Able to load files no problem in PKNX, but whenever I plug them back in, no pokemon spawn at all. Tried about 6 months ago and tried again with the newest build. A quick google search shows that this seems to be a common theme with PLA on the switch, not sure if there is a fix. Happy to post any additional information that might be relevant. Without a modded/hacked switch, you can't obtain the files or even load them back to your switch -- your switch needs to be modded to use the files too. Zasnies Posted March 23 Share Posted March 23 (edited) Hello all! I'm having some issues getting the randomizer to work on my switch and was hoping to get some help! I run the nx dump tool rewrite and dump the usergame titles, dump romfs and exefs connect switch to pc pull the folder named for sword onto my computer and then open with pknx randomize wild and static encounters, as well as fill as spaces, checking the list it looks like everything is random then save the file that i open in pknx now has a romfs and exefs folders next to the sword id folder, but then inside of that ID folder is another romfs and exefs I think my problem is I'm putting the incorrect files onto my switch, but I've been trying for days and have tried all different combinations of folders and files in different locations with and without sub folders and I'm stumped any help would be appreciated!
