teriax Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Is there a way to apply changes to the .3dz file itself instead of having to decrypted? If not is there a link for a tutorial in English?
jmanpenilla Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Is there a way to apply changes to the .3dz file itself instead of having to decrypted? If not is there a link for a tutorial in English? I found this awesome tutorial that you can translate in chrome for taking your dump, editing it, and repacking. http://www.pokemontrash.com/jeux-pokemon/decrypter-compiler-rom-3ds.php
jmanpenilla Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Are there any plans on making the randomizer so the DexNav doesn't crash either on the standalone RSWE or the pk3ds one?
Trevorasaurus Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Are there any plans on making the randomizer so the DexNav doesn't crash either on the standalone RSWE or the pk3ds one? The DexNav crashes because of the Pokemon limit per area. You could randomize once and edit them all manually if you wanted.. But if anyone is interested in a .cia with the area/trainers randomized(still potentially crashes dexnav), pm me.
Kaphotics Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Or you can just use pk3DS for all your editing needs pk3DS has these tools incorporated and improved them a bit.

Yep, although it took me a ridiculous time before I realized you point the newer version to the decrypted romfs folder and not the "a" folder like the older. Was about a solid hour of trying to figure that one out.
jmanpenilla Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I do know the reason that it crashes, but mine is randomized with the latest compiled pk3ds and DexNav still crashes Edit: The latest pk3ds that I just compiled, to clarify. Edit2: Just recompiled again, and opening the wild editor crashes.
