dcrispell7 Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 GAMESTP Jirachi from Emerald, with a hex-flawless Careful spread and a type 4 PID, and nicknamed. EDIT: English DW Venusaur that originated from an English cart
Hozu Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Apparently N's Darmanitan is supposed to have the ability Zen Mode.
neptunium Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 This Pineco is showing a false positive for Location. I believe it's because it's a headbutt/tree pokemon. Details of RNGing. Game: Heart Gold Seed: F6070A9E Synchronise (Calm) Lead Frame: 51 Encounter Slot: 1

codem8kr Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 So I got this pokemon from a trainer I know in the UK. I gave my Hitmonchan and I received Hitmonlee. Now, not being the paranoid type, I uploaded it to pokecheck just to see if it was hacked. It all looks fine except from this: Nickname: Hitmonlee\xFFFF\x0000 All characters in name are valid Invalid terminator sequence in trash bytes EVs: Pokemon is EV trained but not infected with Pokerus Any thoughts guys? Hacked or not?
Hozu Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 That would be a hack. Next time you can ask the shoutbox for something simple like that.
Ishimaru Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 (edited) Hi, please check Genesect's movepool regarding move tutors from B2W2, it marks such moves as hacks. Thanks. Edited August 11, 2012 by Ishimaru some spelling error
Delta Blast Burn Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=1845120 Reports invalid Pal Park trash bytes, even though they are correct.
Darkrai4243 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 A minor error in this pokemon http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=1436990 The pokemon is legal event
Kaphotics Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 A minor error in this pokemonhttp://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=1436990 The pokemon is legal event All gen V events are checked against a contributed Wonder Card. This event's wondercard data has not been contributed, so it's left to the user to check.
Tropicalwood Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 A minor problem with the trash bytes here. http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=1886644 It says "This Pokémon is missing HGSS hatch trash bytes." all I did was send it to Platinum and evolve it.
Kaphotics Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 A minor problem with the trash bytes here.http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=1886644 It says "This Pokémon is missing HGSS hatch trash bytes." all I did was send it to Platinum and evolve it. Orange just means that it's something to be weary of; it's not saying that it is not legal. Typically users hatch on the game which the egg is generated on, what you did was atypical. Since it doesn't have any trash bytes, it could either be name rated for a new name or whatever. Not a false positive
Hozu Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 For some reason the Cliff Cave encounters are missing. The HG encounter table lists the area as Route 47 inside cave.
Dreamer Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Just something i noticed after uploading my Rhydon.Pokecheck says it is slot 10,but i actually caught it in slot 9,as a rhyhorn, in the victory road
Chompizard25 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Dreamer, please change your Pokemon to public.
Darkrai87 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Dreamer, please change your Pokemon to public. He doesn't need to, admins can see private pokemon.
Hozu Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Pokécheck's encounter slots are labelled from 1-12 instead of the 0-11 like the encounter slots.
Hozu Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Is there someone out there messing with Pokécheck? I've seen uploaded mons a few minutes ago with their URL number be something ridiculously large like over 800 million. And it's currently down...

Hozu Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 It's fine now... but earlier there was a mon with an extremely high URL number. I suppose that wasn't what I thought it could have been.
Chompizard25 Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 A minor error in this pokemonhttp://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=1436990 The pokemon is legal event Also, to this, the last move is an egg move
Kaphotics Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Also, to this, the last move is an egg move Again, this event's wondercard has not been contributed. All gen V events are checked against a contributed Wonder Card. This event's wondercard data has not been contributed, so it's left to the user to check.
Chompizard25 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Again, this event's wondercard has not been contributed. That doesn't matter, it is still an egg move.
dcrispell7 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 That doesn't matter, it is still an egg move. THAT doesn't matter, because that event pokemon didn't come from an egg. All information for events are contained in the wondercard (for those that came with a wondercard obviously, so gen 3 events are excluded) and so if the information doesn't match the wondercard, it is hacked. Even if there is a legit egg move, that does not mean game freak wanted that pokemon to have that move as part of the event. As Kaph said, pokecheck does not have the Korean wondercard to check and ensure that all information is correct, so the user has to do a bit of leg work. If that move was part of the event, then it is fine, but as far as pokecheck cares, that is a pokemon that has an egg move, but did not come from an egg.
