Anyone got any good ones?

I sure do! I'm about 54 or so hours into Platinum now. Yesterday I took the time to defeat the Elite Four and get that out of the way so I could go play around in the Battle Frontier.

Well, I picked up the game after saving a while later and looked at the back of my trainer card. Hall of Fame Debut = 11:55
lolwut? I had to have been around 51 or 52 hours at that point.

Talk about a good glitch :]
And now I'm stuck with it! XD

I Mystery Gift a Member's Card, go into the hotel, and get into the island with Darkrai. I defeat him after realizing my balls would not capture him at all, so I was impatient and left. Then I leave the place... and later I can still come back into the hotel and fight Darkrai again. Is that a glitch?

There aren't really good "glitches" in D/P/Pt, most of the game is glitch free

There actually was a glitch in the Japanese game when you pick up the Platinum Orb in Distortion World and the message came out... but the object sprite (the pokeball) was still there until it said "Player put Platinum Orb in pocket".

It's in the same place where Giratina was... but you have to access the Torn World via Turnback Cave... where Giratina used to be in Diamond.

No.
Some legendary pokemon will reappear after being defeated.
Darkrai is one of them.

The ironic thing is, it does absolutely nothing to Ground, Rock and Steel types, so it acts like Sandstorm. I would think rain would hurt them... but it hurts water types, oddly.

For some reason, when I was playing my Platinum today, I used a Max Repel ([b]and I'm sure I used a Max Repel -- I even went back to check and it gave the 'Max Repel already in effect' error message) and I was going through Iron Island to go catch Regice, and on the way, I kept on encountering Onixes and a Graveler. Any ideas?

What was the level of the first Pokemon in your party? Repels only work on Pokemon that are lower leveled than the first one in your party. You can still encounter higher leveled Pokemon.

Oh, that is interesting about the repels. I'll have to remember to put my best first when I'm using a repel.

Its not really a glitch though. Its been useful since GSC with the roaming beasts.

I like that option, it helps when you want to get higher level Pokemon to train against instead of the random Level 20s Pokemon you find in Fight Area, Stark Mountain, etc areas near there.

This isnt so much of glitch. but it is a little easter egg. Have you seen that sign in front of the safari zone in pastoria city? There is a picture of a Croagunk with a hole in its head. If you walk up to the sign so your characters face fills in the hole, a Croagunk will appear out of nowhere and eventually walk into the safari zone.

How did I find this out? I was bored one day and was just doing random shit in the game.

I've done it twice, but it doesn't happen every time. I don't know what the trigger is. have any of you found this out?

I think there's a glitch with the Battle Hall somehow. I battled all the way till the 50th battle with Argenta, and got the Silver Print, but then when I restarted the game some time later, it told me the Battle Hall record is erased and when I lost the 52th battle onwards, the record indicated those Pokemon I didn't bring in and my record was like 15xxxxxx, how is that possible? o.0

Any idea how to fix this?

Acid rain. Isn't it supposed to hurt EVERY pokemon on the field 4x? Even if the pokemon is resistant to a part of the "rain", they get hurt by their own ability (!?!?!?!?!?!?), so Pikachu gets hurt by its static, but would Wonderguard hurt you? and then there is an upside: 4x heal. read article for info

There is no trigger. its just a random event and has no significance, other thanthe fact that Pastorians love Croagunk

ive noticed that when you enter a battle in platinum you sometimes see a few rogue pixels appear when the screen should be totally black, it doesnt affect anything or happen all the time but i never saw this in diamond.

There's not many glitches in platinum, most or all of them got fixed in the transistion from Diamond/Pearl.

Its actually possible to catch Shaymin and Darkrai without getting the event items, just use that glitch.

Note that this does not work in Platinum.

Note that the reason the glitch does not work in Platinum is that even if you were to successfully tweak and got to Darkrai or Shaymin, they would not be there. In D/P, certain Pokemon like Darkrai or Shaymin were already in the game, you just couldn't get to them. If you used lets say the wtw code you could get to where they are and battle them. But in Platinum, the Pokemon have to be triggered by the specific key item, they are not already implanted into the game. Which means the wtw code will get you to where the Pokemon is supposed to be, but it will not be there.

Yes i have tried that i did not take me more that a few minutes to figure that the items i had did not trigger the event Pokemon. I diamond i got 2 shaymin for my walk through walls code and Oaks letter. I did it in platinum but without the event items and figured that you need the 100% real item to access the Pokemon i wanted.

what you have to do is put a crap pokemon there in the pc where the wired one is then select release this happened to me last year then i figured it out hope i helped

this happend to my platnum game.... i got a screwed up pokemon AR code that only worked twice >:[ the third time it gave me that....that....whaterve its called. well i wasnt smart enuff to learn how to fix it. heee...heee.... then i was plating with the minning code that will give you any pokemon and i purposly got the ? thing it was lv.20 .but sadly it curropted my game when i saved over it. that really f***ing sucked to i had a lv100 arceus a lv98 darkri and a lv100 shaymin with gardicia flower....... and they where real event pokemon.... i think this :http://archives.bulbagarden.net/w/upload/1/1e/Ani000MS.png is nintendos way of telling all the missingNo fans they hate them. see they no they can never truely get rid of missingNo. so they "evolve" it to jist like every othe pokemon (that is if you would call missingNo. a pokemon) i mean realy in R/B/Y it was this blob of randon grafics. and then in S/G it changed into ???????. and in R/S/E it changed into a circle with a question markcalled ?. and now to present day with this thing that crashed my game.
