I was a rebel back in high school and used Firebird when it came out (v 0.7) and nowadays, Firefox seems to be the standard browser now. And yeah, Opera is better for the most part... I'm guessing.

I multi-task between Chrome and Firefox. Chrome is faster, but I like some things on Firefox better. Plus it has more support. I still have IE in case a website abolutely needs it.

I also use Opera since Safari comes up with errors on some sites. Opera works there.

I switched to FireFox from Safari after Safari had a major crash, wiping out lotsa my data... -_- Anyways, AdBlock Plus is awesome, use it all the time. When I go to websites without AdBlock, it's like a whole new Website.

choosing a browser has to do with functionality, not popularity. Just by the way, IE is still most used ;) not that it should be.

IE7 for the same reasons as Wraith. Firefox always messed with my bookmarks, and then when I'd complain to friends they'd give me some website to store them all under...um, NO, I want my Internet browser to be capable to store all of my bookmarks denggit! >.<
Anyhow, I just had a nasty time with Firefox, as nice as the bookmarks bar was (Which was the only way I could get bookmarks to stay) IE is just easier for me.

I use firefox and the bookmarks are just fine. It took me a while to figure it out since I was so used to IE but I get it now and I'm never ever switching back to IE. It was so slow and froze randomly. :( It loved to freeze when I was doing something important.

I don't know why so many people have had problems with fire fox, I've been using it for 2 years and I haven't had a single problem with ANY of the three versions I've run.
Firefox>Internet explorer.
Although I've been using Songbird lately, which is a media player that also serves as a web browser, and thats been fun.

I don't see why everyone loves Firefox so much. Mabey it is because my website (http://www.uniquegeeks.net/) dosen't display properly in it even though I follow the CSS standards properly.

I used IE 9 before at College and it was decent. I never liked Firefox though (too much lag). I usually use Opera v9.50 or higher, Safari and/or Google Chrome. Safari does have some bad habbits of lagging though, but I never had any problems with Opera v9.50 or higher. I often use Google Chrome here and there, but I perfer Opera v9.50 or higher.

I now use Opera 11, it's similar to Opera 10, but with a few new enhancements. I like Opera 11 becuase it runs Videos and Movies faster and has a decent non-lag, but it can be a problem with some images. Images tend to lag a bit, but not that long though.

Well now that i have experienced Chrome. I'll never go back to FireFox... Unless a page requires it. I just love the instant boot up of Chrome and it seems faster than Firefox. I was actually pretty sad when i unistalled Firefox as it was just sitting there gathering cyber dust. Now that I've made the switch my friend seems to be following though he prefers Firefox because it has better support for AdBlock.

nope
Chrome has all the addons firefox can have (extentions) (https://chrome.google.com/extensions/), and is a wee bit faster. Plus the way you can integrate stuff and have a newtab page with your most common visited sites is great

I use firefox mainly. I am in to open Web development so I test in all.
Things I do not like about the other browsers (Stable releases only):
Firefox: No SVG font support, Very poor SVG animation by SMIL, No WEBM support, SVG filescan not be in IMG tag (OBJECT, EMBED, and IFRAME works).
Google Chrome: No Alternate stylessheets support, no MathML support, remote fonts disabled by default, and the simple interface (I feel it takes less control from me.), no Animated PNG support.
Opera: Poor UTF-8 support (Most characters are misinterpeted), Problems displaying certain Unicode characters (I have the fonts but still insists on showing missing glyph).
Safari: Dependent on Quicktime for HTML5 media.
IE: Where to begin... Poor security, No XHTML (application/xhtml+xml) support. No SVG support. No native MathML support. Almost no HTML5 support (IE Supports contenteditable attribute),
No HTML5 Media, no Canvas support, and no animated PNG support.
Things I like:
Firefox: Best extensions, Can use SVG effects in HTML and XHTML. is very customizable.
Google Chrome: Fast loading of pages and opening.
Opera: Best SVG support (Only browser that supports SVG 1.2 tiny), Advanced Web toolbar.
Safari: Best Canvas support.
IE: Sorry, I can not think of anything about this other than it went against web standards until IE 8.

I use Firefox like the majority of the people. I'm just so used to it. When I used Internet Explorer, I remember hating it. Of course, I was still kind of young then. I didn't pay much attention to which browser I was using. But since my whole family seemed to transition to Firefox, I did, too. And I loved the results. Hooray for Firefox!

Currently i am using Firefox. It works with more HTML codes and with the new update its more reliably. And has many ad ons for just about anything. It also seems to load faster for me. Also it provides much wide screen which is beneficial for showing much content on one page.

yes sure google Chrome is the best browser, when i first downloaded it, my internet was running at a lighting speed, i even checked my speed http://www.scanmyspeed.com/
and it was normal too, hitherto i used firefox which chocked my browsing capabilities .
But the only one advantage with firefox is that it has more add ons, which makes things much easier

Browsers I Like - some comments
1. FireFox 7.0 - vindicated it self from being a memory hog, the best for web developers for html validation and css3 code implentation, has a lot of tools and plugins
2. Google Chrome - front runner in developing css3, has the slickest jquery animation,
3. Opera - second to the best in handling css3 coding
4. Safari - always kinda in the middle, consumes RAM
5. others...
and will never use Internet explorer. one, what ever version it currently has right now, it does not follow the latest CSS3 standards it has very little support for html5, its coding language is always crap

I mostly use Google Chrome nowadays, but Firefox for Dream World Hack Tool. Whenever I want to play Frozen Treat Sweep (http://cdn2.pokemon-gl.com/src/swf/pdw/assets/game/game9.swf?ver=1.0&appver=2.0), I use any browser other than Chrome because for some reason it runs more slowly.
