I somehow have increased the number by 2 and I wanted to reset it since I want it to reflect how many shiny pokemon I've personally hunted. Has anyone figured out a way to change / edit this number?

Hello! I've found myself in a situation where I need to change my 3DS console, and this happened in the middle of my PKMN Ultra Sun play-through. I had only made one checkpoint save, but was fortunately made nearly where I had last ended. (This is in-fact, the only copy of the save data I have) Now the issue that I'm experiencing is that the game sees my save file as "corrupt", which I'm assuming is a built in protection measure. And there is also another issue of when I open trainer info on my original save "main-old" I get an error, so I'm unable to edit the trainer ID (its either this or the secure values that are triggering the flag/check in the game). In short: Need to import "main-old" into current 3DS "main-old" loads in pkhex okay, except for trainer info section under SAV tab. Provided here is also "main-new", which is a newly generated save from a fresh start in the game (perhaps useful to extract the secret keys/ID?) I'm totally new to Pokemon save editing, as I've stuck to vanilla gameplay, but in this situation I've come to ask for assistance if anyone could take a look at this? Thank you! P.S: When I import my save with checkpoint, I make sure to change the file name back to simply "main" and have no other files present. main-new main-old

I can't trigger the Shaymin a event by only holding Professor Oak's letter. Darkrai is also the same problem. I think I need to check the event flag name box. But I don't know what is the event flag name for Shaymin and Darkrai. Can I have the event flag name for triggering the Shaymin and Darkrai Event? Game: BD Version: 1.1.1

Hi everyone I've been working on a little Soul Silver ROM hack for a while now and I'm pretty close to releasing the first version. One thing I've been having lots of trouble with however is editing in-game trades. I found a really obscure tool that helped me out with this however it only works on unedited roms. I tried editing a clean rom using this tool and it worked out pretty well, but when I tried extracting narc file A112 (the in-game trade file) and inserting it into my already edited ROM, nothing changed. I then tried doing it the opposite way by adding all the other narc files that I needed from my edited ROM into the ROM where I had successfully edited the in game trades but when I went to playtest, the in game trades had returned to the base game trades. I'm guessing I somehow have the wrong narc file or I just messed up somewhere but I've tried multiple times doing things this way and it never works properly. Could someone please help me out? If I'm using the wrong narc file and I found the real one I'd be sorted. Alternatively if you know the numbers of the in game trade scripts in SDSME then I could probably edit them from there (although I haven't gotten very far into script editing yet so it'll take me a while to learn that properly). Ideally there would be some sort of tool I missed that would let me just quickly edit the trades but as far I can tell there aren't any finished tools that can do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I'm starting a fresh White playthrough and by unlocking the online features the options for "Battle Competition" and Game Sync in the title screen have an annoying "new" sign next to them which won't go away. Thought a game sync ID would shut them up. Any tips?

How do I determine which memories are assigned to which index? When checking a pokemon's legality, occasionally, it will tell me that memories are expected to be different indices, usually on internally traded pokemon (in game trades with npcs) that got touched by pksm. I tried to pick through the source on GitHub, and I searched with the search function in this forum, but nothing came up that specifically listed which memory ("{0} did blah with {2} blah blah {1}") was matched to which index number ("Invalid: OT Memory: TextVar should be index 40", etc etc). Apologies if this is the wrong place to post, this is my first post here, and the "read before posting" said "This forum section IS for requesting information on how a feature works."

Hey everyone,so i've tried to use the manual stats option from the Stats tab in pokegen and it seems that it doesn't work.I've used this option on at least 30-40 pokemons, legendaries or not and everytime with differents iv's and ev's,attacks etc.The problem is that pokegen shows me that the stats are changed but ingame the stats are the same as they were.I need to mention that I play Black 2 and I play it on my DS on R4. Can someone help me or at least explain me what is the problem, beacause I've tried everything to make it work but is the same.Thanks.

As I said in my intro, I learned VB Express in school, and did really well. I decided to try to make a pokemon program. Anyways, I got up to displaying the OT, but I'm lost now. I know where the OT is in regards to the offset, but I'm stumped how I would convert it. For one, I have no clue what it converts to, maybe Unicode or ASCII. So if someone could help me with that, I'd be grateful.
