This is how I do my current injections to Alpha Sapphire as I have an old 3DS XL that I haven't updated to avoid this method from being patched, it's a bit ancient but it's how I like to do it. What I'm simply asking is will this still work as long for Sun & Moon? I'll be buying the cartridge version of either one, not the digital release. -

I know the QR code injection method is incredibly outdated, but it would be useful to be able to import QR code mons into the PKHeX. Does this feature exist? I saw older threads regarding it, some "QR!" option that you would ALT+Click to import an image, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks.

I need help with the ".IV_XXX=" commands in the PKHeX batch editor. :frown: I want to give random IV values to all of my Pokémon, but I couldn't find a way to do so. I've already tried ".IV_ATK=$rand" but I guess that's not meant for that command. Also tried using the ".IVs=" one with no success, can't get it to modify all of the IVs at once. Any help? Is this randomization functionality implemented in the batch editor? :confused: Thanks in advance!!:redface:

Hi guys. When i open my PkHex.exe it always open a save file that i have. Its kinda annoying because i just want it to open a clean box. I even errased that save file from my pc, but it keeps opening the same file when i start the exe. I "unistall" PkHex (Just errase the exe) and install it again, but is the same. What can i do just to open a clean file?

Title, my (legit) Latias has soul dew item but it is not applying the 50% bonus to it's SpAT and SpDF. It remains the same. There is not change in battle either with the item on or off (same damage). Is this item currently bugged? I tried taking it off, reseting, applying it on again but nothing, only issue I've had with Pkhex so far as everything else is working fine.

i had used pkhex a while back, around when ORAS was released. i know there have been changes. Is it possible to use PKHex without any kind of dongle or homebrew?

Hi, I hope someone can help me? I'm playing Pokémon Sun&Moon Demo on 3DS. I extracted the main with SDF but it won't be read by the 09-18-16 release of PKHeX: Attempted to load an unsupported file type/size. File Size: 441856 bytes (0x6BE00) The reason I wanna to load the main from PKhex is because that a friend of mine hacked 98 Masterball on it and 90-thousand money in the game. By the way, he is a citra player. This is why I am puzzled. Is there something different from the mains between 3DS and citra?

Is it possible to change your Trainer ID and Secret ID in Gen 4 and 5 with PokeGen? I can't find the place to modify it...

i'm having problems in PKHeX... i'm editing a 4th gen save, HeartGold, i exported the save from DeSmuME and opened on PKHeX, i finished editing and clicked "File > Export SAV..." i imported the save with DeSmuME and.... the game didn't changed, everything was the same... i exported the save again and opened it on pkhex, the save was modified... this was weird, so i Exported SAV again in PKHeX and imported on DeSmuME... nothing changed... this time, i exported the modified save to my SD (R4) i opened the game on my 3ds and... the save was the same, not modified.... i copied the save from the R4 to the PC and opened it on PKHeX, the save was modified summary: on PKHex, the save is modified (example, lvl.15 Bidoof changed to lvl.20) when i use this modified save on DeSmuME or an R4 the example Bidoof is changed again to lvl.15, like anything happened... help D:

i got an error on Crystal: "attempted to load an unsupported file type / size. file size 32772 bytes (0x8004)" after saving on TGB Dual i read on some thread that after adding two rows of 0's the save will work but my problem is that i don't know how to add the rows of 0's i need other programs or what? pls tell me how to do that

First I would like to thank @Kaphotics and the community that helped create and stabilize the maximum of PKHeX. I have a question and a problem (both in gen2): I some time ago used the pikasav to edit game save of Pokemon gen1 and gen2. When I become aware recently that PKHeX does the same job, I tried to experience. When I edit the save file have the following information: attempted to load an unsupported file type / size. file size 32772 bytes (0x8004). I use the TGB Dual Version 7 emulator to play gen1 and gen2 because it allowed me to trade and so I can complete the pokédex. I wanted use the PKHeX just to get a faster result in the game without having the need to use gameshark or derivatives. --> My question and problem are: TGB Dual emulator is creating a save with a inappropriate size or would my own pc or PKHeX with a failure? <-- Another thing I noticed is when I taking a random save file was that: when I click on shiny icon and then click on the gender icon, the program has stopped working (gen2 to be exact) and when I click to change gender he does not. Note: I am using the latest version of PKHeX present here in projectpokemon web. sorry my english and anything! -
Okay I wasn't sure if to post this on Colosseum/XD or here in PkHex but since most of the things fall under PkHex i decided to post it here. Recently I wanted to do a run to get all possible ribbons with a Pokemon, instead of just giving them to it in Pokemon X. So after some digging and guides I found out that I need to start on Colosseum/XD and move forward to emerald and so on. The issue here is that I am having a hard time transferring the pokemon from my Colosseum save to Emerald. I tried using PKHex to open Colosseum and it didnt work, so I tried to open Colosseum with another editor, then save the pokemon (Quilava since its my favorite) in a pkm. Then transfer that pkm to my Emerald save. The problem is that the met location throws out all sorts of things. Can anyone help me out? I dont mind if I have to edit some of the information, I just want to go and get most of the ribbons and have my cute Quilava be a Ribbon Master. I want this pokemon to be able to transfer to every generation and after I have it on pokemon X I want him to go with me into future generations.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I'm not sure where to ask my question, then I'm french, so sorry for my english ... Since updating 11.1 pokemon ruby omega bug on homebrew launcher, so not being able to access my backup, but I have with me Y pokemon, I thought the technique of the GTS, but when I try to make a pokemon on pkhex with my backup Y pokemon, this message "invalid,super training complete flag mismatch" then what? this is a new game Pokemon Y that I have, I just advanced into the adventure to get to a pc, thank you for your help! Of course, I try to create my pokemon for strategic competition with EV diferent... Thanks

I intend to transfer my older pokemon from Ruby and Firered to Omega Ruby. I can open the saves using pkhex and can drag and drop to other game. But I'm wondering, is there any extra changes(maybe in memory section?) I have to make so that the game thinks it's actually been transferred from older games? Like what things are different on transferred pokemon(I know about travelling through time and space... message in summery screen) and how to show those up when transferred using pkhex? Btw all games are on emulators. With Ruby and FR being on VBA and OR being on Citra. -
Sometimes there are strange icons on the pokemon icons. I attached a screenshot with these icons. I have highlighted these icons with red arrows. Can you tell me please, what these icons mean?

I've been playing around with the batch editor and slowly figuring things out, but I can't for the life of me figure out the syntax for MetDate. Does anyone know how to get that to work? Also is there some more documentation for the batch editor that I just missed or is the tutorial post in the FAQ all we have?

Old Diamond and Pearl saves were exported using FBI and TWLSaveTool, then deleted on the cartridges to make a new one. I think it might have to do with progress, as the old files at least had one badge (D with 2, P completed), while the new ones had just gotten starters. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, but if someone could tell me what is wrong that would be great.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a keyboard shortcut I'm pressing without knowing it, but sometimes the Pokémon in my box will be overwritten with the Pokémon in a different box. This seems to be completely random. I've read the keyboard shortcuts and there doesn't seem to be a shortcut for doing this. This has happened three times while playing Yellow, by the way. -
Where is the affection stat that is affected by Pokemon Amie in the editor? I know I've changed it before using PKHeX, but I can't find it any more in the latest version.

Sorry for my english, but I wanted to know if I'm the only one who has problems with the normal O-power,I use the option " Give all ", but once saved I have no power to level S are all as they were at the beginning, why? This functions is not allowed for pokemon x and y? P.S. I use Pokemon X
