Yeah, I know that. I'm trying to modify my .sav file atm. But it gets corrupted when I put it at the same place after editing.

My friend and I have been playing firered origins on our android with myboy emulator. Yesterday her game(along with the emulator)froze and the emulator stops working. It doesn't work even after reset and stays frozen. I experienced the same thing when I manually used her savestate on my device. So I am trying to edit my own save to match her data in pokemon and trainer info. However both pkhex and A-save is not working. After editing the save, when I try to load the save with myboy or vba, I am getting save file corrupted error each and every time. Do pkhex and other save editors not support romhacks? Is there anything I can do?

I intend to transfer my older pokemon from Ruby and Firered to Omega Ruby. I can open the saves using pkhex and can drag and drop to other game. But I'm wondering, is there any extra changes(maybe in memory section?) I have to make so that the game thinks it's actually been transferred from older games? Like what things are different on transferred pokemon(I know about travelling through time and space... message in summery screen) and how to show those up when transferred using pkhex? Btw all games are on emulators. With Ruby and FR being on VBA and OR being on Citra.
