  1. It can work... Psychic is scary but to guard yourself against stuff like sucker Punch or successfully set up Calm Minds, try running Substitute someplace. Shadow Ball + Focus Blast already gives an unparalleled coverage, so removing Psychic can actually be a logical thing here. Oh and another thing. Don't run Choice Specs if you're using Calm Mind. And the EV spread can be adjusted to be slightly more specially defensive... I don't know if it constitutes as unique though because so many sets are like that one.
  2. Get your Pokemon to around level 64ish or something... I took Red down with some level 68 Pokemon.

  4. What? No I don't have a hacked team. And yes Pikachu is weak, but it's a kryptonite like Deoxys if used right. And you should know Volty is a she... BTW Hacking ruins the integrity of the game. And I don't use rare candies until I EV them properly... Plus, unlike most other people, I do NOT have access to infinite rare candies.
  5. It won't be legal though. The Pokewalker use a different algorithm. The Pokemon files were uploaded by BerserkLeon, who got it off his Pokewalker. Therefore it is legit. So thank him.
  6. Long code but you'll get Flying Pikachu in Box 18 Slot 1 and Surfing Pikachu in Box 18 Slot 2... you must push L + R for it to work. In the future, just use Poksav yourself and you can generate codes for yourself.
  7. Is that Surfing and Flying... or just Surfing or just Flying? I don't believe one Pokemon can be replaced with two.
  8. This topic is becoming a spam-fest. Closing it.
  9. AR Code for Flying/Surfing Pikachu? Specify where you want them... which box slot or party slot or whatever... Thank BerserkLeon for providing the PKM files to them.
  10. People really need to look at this thread... no one seems to get it by now. Anyways, the location for HGSS should ALWAYS be Farawayplace. However, the 46h and 47h is what determines the actual location. Why was it done this way? Because if one wanted to trade from DPP to HGSS, it would seriously mess up the compatibility if HGSS added new location data and traded it back to DPP. If Farawayplace is traded into HGSS, HGSS will search in the 46h and 47h to see if there is an actual location from HGSS. If not (like from Colosseum and let's say), it will just show up as Farawayplace.

    ohi

Hello there. Welcome to Project Pokemon. Yeah... I'm very shy too. But no worries... there are ways to make friends here I'm sure.
  12. Best? I don't know what I can claim as my best... since I don't think there is a best team or anything for me. I guess I'll go with my in-game Soul Silver team (second generation bred) to post up... I don't remember how I EVd them. I just rare candy them to 100 to see what their max stat is without saving then checking their IVs so I can EV them accordingly. [hgsssprite]031[/hgsssprite] Regina the Nidoqueen @ Black Sludge Poison Point - Stealth Rock - Toxic Spikes - Earth Power - Ice Beam [hgsssprite]018[/hgsssprite] Pertelote the Pidgeot @ Wide Lens (I need spare Leftovers) Keen Eye - Air Slash - Featherdance - Roost - Heat Wave [hgsssprite]214[/hgsssprite] Atalanta the Heracross @ Choice Scarf Guts - Megahorn - Stone Edge - Earthquake - Close Combat [hgsssprite]154[/hgsssprite] Gaia the Meganium @ Leftovers - Aromatherapy - Synthesis - Leech Seed - Energy Ball [hgsssprite]038[/hgsssprite] Vixie the Ninetales @ Charcoal (I need more Leftovers) - Flamethrower - Nasty Plot - Energy Ball - Hypnosis [hgsssprite]131[/hgsssprite] Nessie the Lapras @ Leftovers - Surf - Ice Beam - Ice Shard (will replace with Thunderbolt if I feel like it) - Perish Song Currently training: [sprite]134[/sprite] Undine the Vaporeon level 43 - Aurora Beam - Shadow Ball - Surf - Wish [hgsssprite]149[/hgsssprite] Hero the Dragonite level 63 - Dragon Dance - Dragon Claw - Earthquake - Roost [sprite]212[/sprite] Crimson the Scizor level 60 Technician - Swords Dance - Bullet Punch - Bug Bite - Wing Attack [hgsssprite]429[/hgsssprite] Missy the Mismagius level 68 - Calm Mind - Substitute - Thunderbolt - Shadow Ball [hgsssprite]053[/hgsssprite] Camille the Persian level 59 Technician - Nasty Plot - Fake Out - Water Pulse - Swift [hgsssprite]130[/hgsssprite] Leviathan the Gyarados level 70 - Dragon Dance - Taunt - Waterfall - Ice Fang (will get Stone Edge later) [hgsssprite]025[/hgsssprite] Volty the Pikachu (yes, Lt. 13. The rematches were double? o_O I never got rematch calls so I had no idea. Actually, if you make them doubles, it will set them apart from other gym leaders, so that may not be a bad idea at all. And here is a proposal for Leaf's roster: EDIT: Proposal for Giovanni...
  14. In the manga, I believe Giovanni had some "Book of Secrets" which kinda showed that Giovanni was the first to know that Rhydon could evolve. I don't know... the boss of Team Rocket having not a Rhydon but a Rhyhorn as his ultimate made me wonder what they were thinking when they made FRLG. He may also boot his first Rhyhorn for a Honchkrow that he has in HGSS and keep his Kangaskhan in-tact... so in the end he'll have a Kangaskhan, Honchkrow, Dugtrio, Nidoking, Nidoqueen and Rhydon/(perior?). Yeah, I believe we can have some theme for each people. Like... Phoebe can get a Dusknoir... keep her Banette and Sableye and probably get something like a Spiritomb... maybe keep one of her original Dusclops in-tact or evolve it into a Dusknoir as well? Or perhaps the other forgotten Hoenn Ghost: Shedinja. Just a thought. Planned out so far: (Dusclops/Dusknoir/Mismagius/Shedinja)/Banette/Sableye/Spiritomb/Dusknoir Glacia can have one of her Glalie be a Froslass, keep one of her other Glalie in-tact and maybe stick an Abomasnow someplace to give infinite hail. Her signature is still Walrein, but what to do with her two Sealeos... no idea. Probably something with the elegant theme like Jynx and... something not Lorelei/Candice/Pryce-esque. Pretty hard to think about... but not Glaceon or Lapras or Mamoswine... all I can think of is a duplicate Walrein or possibly Cloyster or Weavile and MAYBE Dewgong. Contemplating. So it'll look like (so far): Glalie/Abomasnow/Froslass/Jynx/(Walrein/Weavile/Cloyster)/Walrein Funny thing: those gym leaders with their second rosters always seem to get Pokemon from other no region out of nowhere... so it's hard not to have rosters that look ridiculously similar, but you can change their overall strategies. Like Morty and Fantina... Morty had two Gengars and a Mismagius that Perishtrapped instead of Fantina's Mismagius which was a straight out sweeper one.
  15. Yeah, the Pokewalker Pokemon run a different algorithm altogether. I don't think the Legality Checker supports it yet. Thanks for sharing them though. Really appreciate it.
  16. Empoleon... has Air Slash? Since when? I'd really love to have that move on that thing... but unfortunately it doesn't.
  17. <p><p><p><p><p>Lol. I know :3</p></p></p></p></p>

  18. I could help with movesets I guess. I know the difference between what works in game and what stays for competitive battling. Also, will Giovanni's ultimate Pokemon STILL be a level 50 Rhyhorn? Because... that kinda fails... For other people's references: if you give the AI a combination of Rest + Sleep Talk, they will not use Sleep Talk twice but THRICE before they realize they woke up in two turns... which really blows. EDIT: I forgot. There should be a HUGE revamp on Phoebe and Glacia's teams. Dusclops/Banette/Sableye/Banette/Dusclops and Glalie/Sealeo/Sealeo/Glalie/Walrein doesn't look like an E4 type of team.
  19. This is the wrong place to post this... I think Anyways, the problem with the two Pokemon is that they are very fragile and not too fast to abuse Super Luck. However if you can get past that and work out an entire team which can support an Absol/Honchkrow sweep, the two can be very deadly. Take Absol for instance. Absol's Sucker Punch is the most powerful priority move in the game, and with Super Luck, if you land a crit, it can mess the opponent up very badly. Since the two are not too fast, they tend to run STAB Sucker Punch as an abusive priority move. If you have teammates which can land Thunder Waves and paralyze the opponent you can just go with Night Slash or some other moves like Psycho Cut on Absol to have a greater chance of critical hit. What's more? Absol has Swords Dance in its arsenal to double its attack power, which can really come in handy. Expect things to get KOd horribly if you play them right. They just require the right support.
  20. There should be a mystery gift option in the main menu, and point your Pokewalker to your HGSS cart.
  21. Erm... you are very ready for Jasmine. Just Flame Wheel Magnemites with Growlithe and Surf Steelix with Lapras and that's all she wrote.
