  1. The file you should get with this method is "pcdata.bin". Do other injections work (ramsav, boxdata, wonder cards,...) ? Make sure you don't use the pcin link for pcout file and pcout link for pcin and try using the long URLs. Also, you can try using this link to load any .bin file : http://lunarcookies.github.io/loadcode.html, just add "#name_of_the_file.bin" at the end to load any .bin file. (You can do the same by adding "&name_of_the_file.bin" at the end of the long URL : http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/rop/?LoadCode.dat If no technique works, then I've read lately that some had troubles with 9.4.0 firmwares. The exploit does not seem to work correctly on many 9.4.0 firmwares below -20, maybe your -6 doesn't work either
  2. - I guess this would be a good idea ? My browser version is 1.7567 on a 9.4.0-21E 3DS if that can help you find a good version. - You can always trade events here. Once the wc6s are released it's easy for anyone to trade them to you. - See n°1 - → I guess this would mean rxtools does support ram exploits ?
  3. Apparently, the game update itself patched the injection exploit, regardless of your firmware. Try lauching the game without your SD card in to disable the game update, you should still be able to inject QRcodes. Launch the game again with the SD card in and you'll be on the latest update again. EDIT: See RustInPeace post
  4. BECAUSE GATEWAY'S EMUNAND DOESN'T WORK EXACTLY AS SYSTEM DOES, AND GATEWAY USERS ALREADY CAN EDIT THEIR SAVEFILES WITH PKHEX. #CAPSLOCK
  5. That's so much fun, I'll never get tired of messing with encouters x) Do you know if it would be possible to rename the code.bin (and hence adding a # at the end of the web link) or something ? I would be glad if I could keep my boxdata code.bin on my SD card^^ Also, "You can't make the wild Pokémon shiny, although they won't have a shiny lock on them." --> Does that mean that it is possible to encounter a shiny Kyogre/Groudon/Rayquaza then (don't know if Kalos legendaries are shiny-locked in ORAS)?
  6. You need to speak English for us to understand. If your question was "does PKHex works with update 9.6?", here is your answer: Pkhex works fine regardless of your firmware. But web injection won't work on 9.6
  7. "Apparently" (whatever goes after) just means it was caught/hatched by an OT/TID/SID different from yours. Change any of these so that it doesn't match yours if you want "apparently" to appear.
  8. If must admit I didn't know about it, you tickled my curiosity^^ I'm probably going to try doing the same thing when you'll reveal how you did it, but I still don't think it's possible to encounter a shiny Xerneas/Yveltal/Zygarde/Mewtwo/Elementary Bird in XY (same goes for the climate trio and deoxys in ROSA) because of that shiny-lock thing. It would be funny if it was indeed possible though
  9. That's what I explained to you above^^ We were able to extract every data from XYORAS cartridges, modify it then pack it again in a playable game. That's what a ROM is and that's how you can do some silly stuffs like editing 3D models or set which pokemon you want to encounter where (that's how your video was done). Doing so, you would be able to encounter Xerneas wherever you want. Being able to encounter a shiny one should be possible to if you can mess with that shiny-lock thing (I don't know a thing about ROM customisation, I cannot help you for that). Also, you'll need a gateway in order to play custom ROMS
  10. Plus, it's safer and easier to develop games if everyone runs the same firmware. Nintendo isn't a bad guy, it just has no interest in keeping old versions running.
  11. It won't because you need to update to 9.6 in order to download the game update, which patches the web browser. Moreover, this update patches the injection in-game, which means even if you install it without upgrading your firmware this will not work.
  12. Web injection exploit allows you to modify any 6G savefile at will (or so) using PKHex, needing only an active internet connection and a firmware below 9.5.0-22, so you can't use that on your 3DS because you're on 9.5.0-23. Gateway is the equivalent of a linker for 3DS games. It allows you to do a lot of things, including playing games with it. You can access the savefile from any game you play on it, and modify it at will using PKHex. But you need a 3DS below 9.2 firmware to set it up, so this won't help you either. Cybergadget is something like a card reader, that allows you to read your savefile and modify it through PKHex. It only works for japanese games, which you can only play on a japanese 3DS (or anything in the same region) so you can't use it with your european 3DS (I know it's an european 3DS because of the letter E at the end of your firmware, US have U and Japan has J). With your current console, the only cheating device you can use is Datel's Powersave. It's a cartridge reader which allows you to modify your save through a bunch of codes provided by Datel. Unfortunately it doesn't allow you to retrieve your savefile and modify it with PKHex, but you can still do things like cloning or maxing IVs easily. Don't know if I answered your questions, tell me if you have more precise questions. Also, I assume you know about PKHex since you posted in its dedicated forum, that's why I didn't explain it to you.
  13. You need the latest firmware to download it, so it cannot be done with web browser exploit. Unless another exploit is found this is not possible.
  14. There are several more places on this forum where it has been discussed and it appears that neither SSB nor STEAM updates work. I don't really know why but it doesn't.
  15. RAM injection only allows you to add a xerneas in your PC, not to encounter him. You can make it shiny, it will be shiny IG and usable in every local battle but it will never be able to go anywhere online (including trades). Anywhere you encounter it, the game checks its PID so that it can't be shiny (and rerolls it if a shiny one is found). Unless you disable this check, Xerneas&co will never be shiny no matter where you found them.
  16. Anyway, a shiny Xerneas caught in the wild of an X version will never be legit as it will either be released as an event or in another game
  17. It is not the first time I say that, but you should not shame the guys from which you need help if you want them to answer you. If you are unsatisfied with the pace of the researches, then go learn about the 3DS firmware and try to find a solution yourself, that will match your nickname at least. Instead of your whinning, your help would much appreciated.
  18. That's what I understood, but there is no reason for him to update to 6.1 unless he wants to use gateway. He might as well update to 9.6, that way he will not be bothered with carrtridge updates for a bit^^
  19. Stupid me, I misread and thought you were on 9.6... You obviously need to update to play your game. You can't use the web injection exploit with a firmware less than 9.0, so you may update if that was your concern. PS: I'm not an emuNAND expert but you could be able to set it up before updating if you are willing to. This would allow you to have both access to savefile modification through PKHex and online play, but you'll need further informations to do so.
  20. He edited is post and said it worked after downloading brand new rsavin/out.bin files
  21. Don't know if a new exploit will be found but if that's the case it won't be before some time. If you're done with web injections I suggest you update your console otherwise you won't be able to go online for a long time (you already can't set up emuNAND anymore so there is no point in not updating anyway).
  22. The RAM exploit allows you to modify the console's RAM at will, but the shiny lock that prevents Xerneas/Yveltal &others to be shiny is hardcoded in the ROM of the cartridge. You can inject a shiny Xerneas&co (which will not be legit), but you cannot encounter a shiny in the wild. I know it's possible to modify pokemon ROMS to play them on a gateway though, so it may be possible to remove the shiny lock that way ? There is a thread somewhere on this forum about ROM modifying, you could find there someone who knows more about it than I do. Note that either way, shiny Xerneas&co will never be usable in online battles.
  23. Your firmware is above 9.5.0-22, so you can't inject anyway. Just update, you've got nothing to loose.
  24. Did you update via ssb/code S.T.E.A.M ? It appears it doesn't work with game updates.
