They know only a part of the community know about a possible new mega form. I have learned that Japanese tv show hosts tend to be on the confused mind f____d side when it come to announcing events and surprises. So i am not that amazed she overreacts way too much. Ok, time for logic. From what i have read about the new ''Mewtwo'', it has the ability to transform into its new form without the bind from a trainer. I certainly didn't see it being attached to anyone in the Mewtwo special either. What's more leading me to think that Mewtwo's mega evolution is that ingame the professor says that the player can bring out Mewtwo's unlimited potential. However in the movie that is not the case. I know, i know that - Anime and games are not the same! - Indeed that is so, however they cannot negate all the ties between the two. Leading me to think that the new Mega form is the Mega Stone one, and that the current one we know is some other kind of item that is not yet revealed for this very reason. - A surprise for the players, fans. Side note from me: I am terribly disappointed in the recent movie, and now i see proof of the expected by some 2-nd Mewtwo Form. I guess it will be in another movie in about 15 more years, or if it battles the rumored Mewtwo lookalikes from a certain list on the web. Or it could be the form for the Original Human Hating Team Rocker Dual Breasted No-horn-chested Mewtwo we all grew up with...

Well i guess i claim bragging rights. I don't remember when, to who and how many times i said it but another Mewtwo form seems to be confirmed.

Calm down... There will be a way to cheat the system. Weather it will be a new kind of sav editing or (like im hopping) a cheating device, i am sure there will be a way. Or everyone will just have to learn to RnG... Btw... like everyone has said - There is no way to prove legitimacy. Only legal can be proven.

It won't allow hardcore cheated fakes that are everywhere. It will allow less horrible fakes, like right now. I doubt they would have the ability to create some as complicated as Pokecheck in every game. Thank again i could be wrong.

Heard overkill and after that Telepathy.... I know this isn't the speculation thread, but that white pokemon was shown 1/2 months ago. 18/19 seconds. The girl in front of the stairs. Reminds of Kurusu. One of the prototype pokes And just to be on topic, i think we can all assume that all pokemon have now mega evolutions. At least their final normal evolutions. I doubt we will see mega Caterpie anytime soon. That said it will change all of the current metagame. They did try their best to make these game create the thrill of experiencing our old love for our old pokemon as if new. This is why i am expecting awesome looking starters with interesting abilities. Btw W... You do know all the strategies you have now will change since we will get new moves per Pokemon and some we have right now will be replaced. As well as the new abilities will make possible new outcomes... as long as they are more than i remember from serebii... This aside, marks the end of my pointless post.

I am somewhat bothered by online storage for various reasons... Now we will be forced to pay after January just so we can migrate from the past games... I have always wanted a mass transfer tool, but making it paid is a letdown. I'm not as cheap as i sound but this makes it pretty difficult to transfer the pkm data since pokemon died in 2003 in my country and we have no place to buy prepaid cards and such... Guess i will have to see how this works out, but so far i dislike the idea... Then again i am sure Pokecheck will be the opinion i pick, since i do use it regularly. As for the Mega Kanto starters... I guess that confirms that every started gets a Mega Evolution. This is the feature of the new games that really excites me! I can imagine all the new strategies that will be developed with the new abilities when ''evolved''.... Makes my heart beat fast.

Im on the phone so i cannot express myself whole. This if turns out real, then i guess i will have one poison/psychic and one fire/psychic and one UFO looking pokemon. Oh, before i forget... This might break the metagame. All sorts of crazy combinations in types... Guess fairy is resistant against its type, beause imagine x4 times weakness against it own type...

Based on the German X, Y demo i can confirm that Mewtwo's HP stat didn't change upon Mega Evolution. But than again i doubt they would sacrifice held item for some esthetic change ... Pokemon, would have to be really stuck on ideas if that is all it does. Worst of all (at least to me) is that it is temporary, so even if it boosts stats there is no way to calculate them. A thought accrued to me. - even if it powers up stats, no one said that the stones would boost the stats the same way for every pokemon. Lucario gets +30 attack boost Mewtwo gets +15 sp attack boost Just a random speculation thought.

Checking pokecheck, i find the other two deities with the same OT. Might be worth looking into.

The event is now supposedly life and Dialga is available. I might have missed this but do they have a predetermined ID and OT like the Hg/Ss legendary beasts or are they the person that receives the gift?

I cannot imagine what competitive gameplay will be like. Some weak, non evolving pokemon get it (which is fine with me) and some powerhouse stage 3 pokemon get it. The not so real ''evolutions'' and ''forms'' are only during battle. Some pokemon have unique items. Others don't require them. Since everyone is so hyped about Blaziken - Blazkinite is an item that is not obtained during normal gameplay. We can say assume the same for Lucarionite. However MegaMewtwo evolves/changes form or w/e with just the basic Mega Stone. And it was said in various news sites that not all pokemon can Mega Evolve.

So now we have a sword pokemon thatunsheaths during battles. ... Its supposedly a Ghost and Steel type. I wonder if it is a version exclusive and that the other is a shield. Image and info from Serebii

Wraith and i were just talking how we like gen 6's pokemon designs more than gen 4 and 5's... And few days later this shows up. - Carpoke used Run Over. Its super effective! Creativity fainted.

Since all of hell and heaven talk about fairy type, i guess i should state my opinion too. Dragons... Hard to raise but worth the effort according to some of the games. I used to love it since it was difficult indeed to train them (requiring 125 000 Exp. to reach level 100). However, not only did they ruin the Trading Card Game with all of the Dragon Exs but with the recent generation gameplay competitive battles. They crippled the battle strategies so bad that every kid has an op Garchomp, Black/white Kyurem that lays waste to your poor 6 pokes unfortunate to be against it. But being the short tempered person i am i cannot say that i am all for the fairy type. I am sure that there would have been a better choice for a name of the type. I am 21 and i don't want some pixies breaking necks of dragons... or at least i am OK for Gardevoir to be it... But... fairy type... F___king REALY?! I was hoping for a Light type that would be neutral to Dark... I guess it would be fine if Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy and Shaymin get it... We really shouldn't complain since GameFreak noticed the over used Dragons and decided to do something about it. Its their attempt at fixing the game i know. That is till the next gen, when we all know they will remove some elements and add new one that will unbalance it even more... Note to Wraith... I predict a fairy Happiny ... The Kalos region looks like on from a spinoff game... It has a little of everything that you can imagine... For that reason it gets a - from me. I expect very very limited trainer customization. Although some High-horse clothes after beating the champion will be appreciated. I am more interested in the new Mewtwo formes... We saw what the ''awakened'' one lookes like in battle... i wonder what the regular will look like (if the take the movement for 3 pokes from Colosseum, , BR and stick them in like in the MD series) as well as the other one we ''don't know'' about. A far as story quality goes - I'm sure X2 and Y2 will improve it... Yes GameFreak, i'm looking at you!

447 is the current maximum for Mewtwo with max IV 31 and max EV 252. That is unless the new form sacrifices something for more power, since in Japanese anime - opening one's heart to kindness means godly power upgrade. Made my day. This is a completely useless topic it seems. All a pointless guesses and fanboy dreams. 1 - Arceus is one pokemon. 2 - Black Kyurem / White Kyurem are two Pokemon smashed into one because of Nintendo's current lack of creativity. 3 - It got a significant boost in stats when it received the merging forms. Imagine if one more legendary uber was smashed into it again. 4 - Don't remember saying it has hands. Those are underdeveloped claws/feet probably. Though looking at it's physique one can say it is a wreck. 5 - There are frozen chicken. But i am sure you knew that. 6 - I don't see feathers.

The ''true dragon'' will come when Mewthree comes... Your fanboy tears aside, it would break the games stat-wise. If you combine 3 legendaries with over 660 stats each and up... You get something that screams - ''Don't buy me! I'm unfair!'' - Since all will use that OP abomination ruining the experience for players. Consider this: Kyurem was beaten badly and now fuses with the other two out of their sympathy to regain lost power. Since it has it's face and not Zekrom or Reshiram's i can assume they willingly let it use their strength. Also remember that in the anime, neither Zekrom nor Reshiram were present during his transformation. 1 - It either has their D.N.A. in it so it transforms with their power. 2 - It is either was the original before the Yin And Yang. However absolute zero is supposed to be after Yin and Yang. So this is far fetched. 3 - Arceus' protector? You do know that Gamefreak sees money bills and electric rodents, not advanced fan logic, right? 4 - Why would you almost punch someone because they shared their opinion of a Pokemon that walks indeed like a chicken, has small wings like a chicken, can float short distance like a chicken, that has a sharp face like a chicken?

Nice thread (no sarcasm intended) I wonder when a backstabber rival will be available... Making Pokemon from DNA of a hair / Researching and modifying ancient fossils into war machines... Nintendo went too close to the light in my taste. Why not something like an evil Cheren/Bianca that causes you trouble mid-game?... I wish Santa would bring me a R/S/E remake since 2007. However i don't know if my chimney is small or something, because i haven't received it yet? Wonder if Pokemon is trying to beats its Long awaited game remake record - G/S - 10 Years. Ruby & Sapphire - 2003 - next one 2013 Or maybe 2015 because of Emerald -2005 ... I wish there was a way to transfer all the pokedex data between games. It has become more than tedious to have to fill it every time a new remake/game comes out to have to fill the damn thing over and over. Mind you that i don't even mention the trade system since that is on a whole another level of annoying... I want a R/S/E remake with original pokedex - Like Fr/Lg has/had.
