  1. Interesting. The PGT I had was also like that. However, the part of the PCD file which makes up the PGT doesn't share the problem. I created a new PGT from the Japanese Enigma Crystal PCD, and the value was the proper 218. So it must've been something that happened to the PGT after being created. Yep; which is why it really helps if people actually look up some information before going to an event to participate. Only takes a couple minutes on google, and saves a ton of frustration.
  2. That'd be cool, for sure. In any case, I hope there are a few out there who knew enough to use a flashcart to download it, or at least went with a Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum cartridge that doesn't need an extra USB device to dump the save.
  3. The moveset (and specific order) for the Celebi listed on Bulbapedia matches Project Pokemon's wondercard, as well. Not to mention a few YouTube videos of people showing their Eigakan Celebi's, in which the order also matches. Also, not to mention, the official site for the event: http://www.pokemon.co.jp/anime/movie/celebi/index.html#present The screencap there clearly shows the order of its moves.
  4. Technically, the Crown Beasts (and Celebi) are from "Pokemon Movie 10", so both 8 and 13 are wrong. The number refers to the year the movie came out, not which movie it is.
  5. I'd appreciate it if one of the staff could change mine to "AtomicGreymon". thanks,
  6. Didn't this event just start on the 20th? I know they're supposed to give it out if you come in with ID and it's within a couple days of your B-Day... did you convince them to give it to you anyway, or is it actually your birthday?
  7. The Enigma Stone is now up, as of 12:00am EST. Here's the English (USA/Canada/UK/Australia/etc) PCD and PGT. Event Name: English Enigma Stone Card ID: 54 Card Title: The Enigma Stone! Card Comment: Visit www.pokemongoldsilver.com to learn how to meet LATIAS or LATIOS in Pewter City! Be sure to save the game once you pick up the Enigma Stone at a Poké Mart. Pokemon Icon 1: 381 Pokemon Icon 3: 380 Date Card Received: 2010/07/31 Distribution Value & Game: 8001 (Hg/Ss) 054 Enigma Stone, USA, WiFi.zip
  8. Finally; Ash's Pikachu! Weird how they skipped over ID #64, though. The movie events were 59-63... and now the Pikachu is 65. I wonder if 64 could be the upcoming Amity Meadow giveaway by the East Japan Railway Company?
  9. Where I saw it mentioned was Pokemon Secure, on their main page. Apparently one of their members won a seat at a screening in Sapporo, and now has a Celebi.
  10. Apparently a few Celebis are now starting to leak out from some advance screenings... I guess it's unlikely one of the people attending one of those will be a member here to dump the WC early, though. Let's hope it shows up quickly after the Japan-wide release date.
  11. Really? That's interesting. I downloaded it again off the event section, and the one there is still 800D. Would you mind PM'ing me a link to the file you've got, or something like that? Yeah, I do know that... but I'd have expected their values to be 0004 and 0008, respectively... at least based on the values that Grovyle's Mystery Gift Editor uses.
  12. What Pikachu was that? The only Pikachus last year (ignoring the B-Day) were the Kyoto and Ario... the latter was NZone, I think, but it's listed in the event section so I don't think it's fake.
  13. Hard to say at this point; it could be as simple as someone having the wrong date setting on their DS... hopefully it'll be cleared up soon. While this is being discussed, though, I've recently been going through all the PCDs on my hard drive (pretty much everything currently available for download from the event section), and I've come across a few anomolous ones that have strange and/or unexpected values. 1. The first 3 Japanese events: Concert Chatot, and the Pokefesta Magmar and Electabuzz... they've all got very strange distribution values (00BD, 00D7, 00DA). Maybe it was just due to their being such early events; anyone know what was up with these? 2. Kyoto Cross Media Experience 2009 Pikachu... although this is supposed to be for all Gen IV games (from what I can see about it, anyway), it has a strange 800D value (D/P/Hg/Ss, excluding Platinum). 3. Birthday '08 Charmander. It uses an 800C value (something it has in common with the Shadows of Almia wondercards.. according to Grovyle's Editor that would be a D/P/Hg flag), but I would've thought it should have a normal D/P/Pt flag. I've noticed several of the more recent Birthday events have used a distribution value for yet-to-be released games; I guess since it's a year-long event. But D/P/Hg makes no sense, though, as Platinum was the upcoming game when this Charmander began. 4. WORLD09 Weavile. It's reported everywhere as an all Gen IV event, but it's distribution value is 000C, which only allows for Diamond/Pearl.
  14. You should check the dates of these events before posting. It's not hard to find out. Celebi doesn't begin until July 10th, when Movie 13 actually starts playing in theatres. I have no doubt we'll have it here soon after that.
  15. As far as I know, the distribution program can only distinguish by language. So one of the French Hg/Ss games sold in Quebec (I believe Hg/Ss were the first Pokemon games officially sold in french-language version there?) should have access to the Jirachi meant for France, just as the English ones in the rest of North America are getting at the UK event.
  16. Unannounced on Pokemon.com and both the American and Canadian Pokemongoldsilver.com = not meant for anywhere but Europe. We can download it, but it's not officially a North American event. The Wondercard switched over at the same hour Yellow Forest switched to the Winner's Path... 3AM EST, or as you pointed out, midnight on the West Coast. Pokemon.com guaranteed that the Winner's Path would be available right up until the 25th of the month, and so it was (not if you count Alaska, though). If the SMR2010 Jirachi were meant for this contintent, though, our websites would've formally announced it.
  17. It's the same Wondercard... but this one isn't offically meant for North America; our event was at Gamestop. North Americans can download it thanks to the fact that the distribution program can only distinguish games by their language, not their actual location. You downloaded the UK Jirachi.
  18. That old page has a nice layout, though... I imagine the event section will get a more refined layout as it's updated over the next little while. An Eventdex like the one the now-defunct pkmdb.com had would be cool, too.
  19. Here's the English (UK) Jirachi. Same WC ID as the Gamestop/Australia one, as expected. Event Name: European (UK) Jirachi Card ID: 24 Card Title: Make a Wish with JIRACHI! Card Comment: This JIRACHI has a special Pokéwalker surprise to share in Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver Versions. Be sure to save the game once you pick up JIRACHI at a Poké Mart. Pokemon Icon 2: 385 Date Card Received: 2010/06/26 Distribution Value & Game: 801D (D/P/Pt/Hg/Ss) 024 Jirachi, UK, WiFi (DPPtHgSs).zip
  20. Both of which take more active involvement on the part of the staff... the advantage to the current distribution packages is that a staff member can just turn it on when the store opens and leave it (I also gather they're usually kept in a locked drawer behind the counter). If they start having to switch cartridges constantly whenever a new kid comes in wanting one of them, or drag out the DS to fool around with an on-screen menu then it becomes a bit more of a hassle for Gamestop/TRU/whatever employees. If they do all three in North America (if they choose just one, I'm betting it'll be Suicune), then my bet is on a date-centric distribution package like the Shaymin/Regigigas or Pichu/Jirachi ones... only this would have 3 Wondercards, each one having maybe a 3-4 week giveaway period.
  21. TCGWC Pikachu... now that's a PCD we could really use; shame it's nigh-impossible at this point. How many non-Japan events have actually used these things? VGC09 Milotic, as I recall... the WORLD08 Lucario? I'm curious how they'll manage to do the Shiny beasts outside Japan, when it's highly unlikely a retail event here would ever use a slot-2 distribution. There's no other way to really give people the choice of which they want.
  22. You'll need to use Pokesav Platinum, or HgSs. The Griseous Orb doesn't exist in Diamond & Pearl, so why would the D&P version of Pokesav have it listed?
  23. Who's to say it can be dumped? It may not be just like dumping a GBA cartridge... the homebrew options for that may not work with one of those things.
  24. If you want to keep your save legit-looking, yes. Even after you trash the Wonder Cards, their IDs will remain as part of your save. There haven't been any US Wonder Cards using 59-61, so that's a big indicator that something isn't right. Plus, if any events in North America ever do use those IDs, you wouldn't be able to receive them... say, if the Shiny Beasts came to TRU or Gamestop or somewhere and kept the same IDs (though this never happened in the past, recent HgSs events have kept the same IDs as their Japanese equivalents... the pokewalker courses, VGC10 Eevee), you'd be unable to download them if you went to the store.
  25. It'll certainly affect the legality of your savefile. I don't think the Pokemon would be any different, though. All the game does is determine a few of their final stats.... all the important traits are already set.
