  1. ... It's still not in HGSS, the game the title suggests this thread is about.
  2. Presuming you have the data for the key item made, you'd need to hack it into the ROM. (You'd probably need a way to enable it, too). To change the name, you'd also have to go into the ROM, find the data for the pre-existing key item, and then edit the key item's data that way. PS: Azure flute is DPPt, not HGSS.
  3. As far as I know, tools such as the SMS2 and NDS Adaptor + are your only options. Unless you plan to play the save on your computer with an emulator, you won't need to worry about the wifi address changing (I presume you mean your FC?). None of the content in the sav itself is changed, no.
  4. Okay, let's see.. Hmm.. perhaps something like this. ^ This could probably be reworded a little more, it's just more organized and gives a quick summary of what's going on. Anyway, are you sure you want to go with spoilers? It gets a little messy after you open everything. If I may suggest, I'd say you could just write a section for each tool, with a list of requirements (rather than a flowchart) and hide each in a spoiler. It'd be much easier to navigate and read, overall. Though, just my opinion :3 The format could be like, :3
  5. Well, let's see.. Interesting idea with the nested spoilers. It looks like much of the stuff could be expanded on a bit more, or linked to at the least. For the sake of clarity, perhaps note that the verdict of 'insufficient hardware' in this guide comes from following the spoiler flowchart. It also seems you might need some proofreading, though this is a rough draft, so I'm up for it if you'd like me to :3
  6. Err. Okay, firstly A .narc is a nitro archive inside the .nds. The BW .NDS isn't exactly one big .narc, it's made up of around 234 .narcs (and other files). Each containing separate data. You're going to have to extract the ROM's filesystem, and then find the .narc containing the info you need. Most of the common stuff (eg, sprites, overworld, script data) is out there, but the vast majority of other narcs have only been partially noted and documented.. I have a sort-of complete list somewhere, I think. Not that it matters, since I presume you're not editing that stuff. Anyway, use DSBuff or something to extract. It's fairly straightforward. Good luck!

    PokeGen Port

    I also sort of want to question why one would need a Pokemon editor on mobile anyway.. Surely, it can't be that hard to use it on your regular PC? ;
  8. I kind of want to speculate that it can, considering that Colosseum Pokemon data is set when it's generated within Colosseum, not when it's transferred to GBA. Since other Pokemon in Colosseum have the regular chance of being shiny (same as with handheld games) I would presume Ho-oh is the same. Edit: as Bond pointed out, as well, they didn't start with shiny checks until Gen 4 (as far as we know, that is).
  9. Yep. Also, Let me rephrase that: no, there aren't 48 celebis already in the game; there are 48 GBA-celebis that can be created. Get what I mean?
  10. I don't know what's wrong with your desmume, but it doesn't hurt to give this a shot.. The link below is to my personal copy of desmume, I've been using it for ages now, and I'm very sure it works. Save in-game, and 'Export Backup Memory'. Save the .sav file, and reload the ROM; then 'import backup memory' and select the same sav you just exported. Continue into the game.. See if that works. It's version 0.9.6, btw. http://s.pokegts.com/arcee/Desmume.rar edit: pokegen opens dsvs, open the .sav in Pokesav or something. edit2: make sure when you're saving, you have pokemon in your PC or party, lol. edit3: run DeSmuME_dev.exe, that's the one I usually use. edit4: make sure you run as administrator (right click > run as administrator) Hopefully that'll make it failproof :3
  11. no, it's very possible, because of dreamworld. you can get most starters in masterballs this way.
  12. Thanks! Others on the GTS suggested this as well, so... Here's v1.2.
  13. I suppose that now I've finally stopped lurking, I should probably change this to my proper name. 'arcee', please? C: Thank you to whoever takes care of this!
  14. Thanks; not necessarily missing. I never saw the need for it (nor do I presently) so I didn't implement it.
  15. Changelog: About: Instructions: Credits: * First and foremost, shoutouts go to Bond697 and Griver. * Without these two, I would be attached to another object by an inclined plane wrapped helically around an axis. * More thanks go to projectpokemon's wikia for information, and infinite recursion for the information libraries of ir-gts. Issues and comments, post away. Being a new build and all, there may be bugs. pkm renamer 3.0..zip
  16. Oh, hello there. I was directed to this thread by the lovely Bond697, and to be blunt, I'm eternally grateful that this exists In case this helps anyone who may have trouble in the future; I had some issues with it at first, but I found a fix in the DSTT savegame_manager edit a couple pages or so back. I have the original R4, I'm very sure of it - so I don't know why it refused to recognize savegame_manager.ini. After some playing around, I used http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?12405-A-tool-to-backup-HG-SS-saves&p=115386&viewfull=1#post115386 and it worked perfectly. Again, I have no clue why, but hey, why complain? It took about 40 minutes to back up both games, 20 mins each. I haven't tried restoring, but I'm sure it works fine. Using a DSLite, HG/W U game, with an original R4DS, and 1.27 R4 Wood kernel. Hopefully this provides some aid to another person in this situation. Again, a thousand thanks. You have no idea how much you've helped me. (:
  17. Youuuuuuuuuu. Oh lookeh, it's my first post (ever). If it counts for anything.. :3 my stuff is all yours (although I think you already have it?) to use. Obviously, I don't have nearly as much as you .. but still, some. Should you feel the urge.. you know how to find me. C:
