  1. pokegen>pokesav probably a setting in the adapter, also you can try importing the save on an emulator and then exporting it as a 512KB.
  2. Could be the English Patch interfering with how it is set when downloaded. Possibly the case. I'd still go with the 100% unaltered if I needed to. Confirming the changes between the Kyoto and the new ones is nothing more than the Card Title and Date Received (no other changes). They will have the same Trainer ID.
  3. Nintendo's GTS doesn't recognize any shiny manaphy as legal, as the only way to get them is via a wondercard method (it's particularly a method 1 pokemon, but undergoes a shiny check just like dynamic wondercard pokemon). It just thinks it is a hack, nobody else will see it. I heard that shiny celebi has problems in black and white's GTS, if the jirachi does too then it's got a similar shiny check mechanism like the manaphy. It's for Manaphy, at the least.
  4. Heh, I guess Bond didn't see past the problem I had originally had to fix (emus) [confirmed in IRC lolu] Go ahead and replace it with mine, he'll be distributing my manaphy next update.
  5. It's probably mine. It's traded on Smogon, I can give you a full history of it as well (100% RNG). It shouldn't have Pokemon Ranger as the met location. I really doubt the GTS would change it. ShinyManaphy%5BKaphotics34401%5D.pkm
  6. There's no way to detect it, so no. Don't say you didn't cheat if they ask. Just
  7. yep changes the stepcounter of the game (256 steps => -1 hatch count. Once hatch count = 0, it hatches. Basically it makes every step = 256 steps. It is cheating. No.
  8. encounter tables, slots, and ratios are secret nah I'm pretty sure they aren't extracted/figured out yet
  9. we'll see if they do any NPID checks at the VGC's this coming year. VGC check is the hardest check Nintendo does. I'm pretty sure there is no relevance between Nature and PID because seeds this gen are 64bit instead of 32bit, allowing multiple occurences of PIDs (idk?). eek maybe not, bond says that if you even change one IV you get rejected from random wifi. moar tests!!!!!!
  10. don't worry, for this generation there's only a Nature/PID relation instead of a PID/IV relation. Not sure if the nature/PID relation can be calculated from the same call for each encounter type (wild/legend/etc) [separate methods lolol]
  11. Already been done earlier I think... maybe it'll be reposted next wed.
  12. someone else be downloadin aside from you
  13. They'll be Method 1/J/K IVPIDs. Actually they are Tall Grass/Darkrai, at least for the Shroomish I RNG Captured in Viridian Forest headbutting.
  14. It was possible with pal park by loading a gen 3 rom/save into the GBA slot. It's not compatible with Pokeshifter as it is a Download + Play option over WiFi. There is a synthetic shifter program by Kazo in the B/W Trashbytes thread that shifts pkms.
  15. Probably just an error in one of the valid syncs causing Sync: Valid to show as Sync: Invalid If you want further verification that it should be valid: http://shaym.in/apps/iv_checker
  16. Much better, can't find any mirrored methods. If you got both PIDs from egg PIDs, you should be set.
  17. It does, you have to change the target game. Trying to inject a bagon into the game? It's an incorrect PID type, but I digress... There's no OT for the Pokemon. When you make codes for the game, it's best to do one pokemon at a time, into the boxes.
  18. Oh ok, that should be fine then. Just find new PIDs for the hatched ones via RNG Reporter with a random plausible seed and you should be 100% 9001% legal. http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/dpp_rng_part1
  19. Too bad, pokeshifter is here to stay. Kazo's program is fine for non HGSS pokeball pokemon. If you ran the celebi through, it would change it correctly except for the met location (in the BW Trashbytes thread) Since BW GTS isn't figured out, there isn't a GTS server for BW yet. Transfer machine pkms really don't matter, they are a 1 time use and all
  20. use the newest version of pokegen, or use the latest stable (2.3??). The game keeps at least 1 backup save handy in case this thing happens. What exactly were you trying to do? (paste code etc)
  21. Did a PID Check -- not a hex check regarding the thread, assuming everything would be alright. Dragonite: Fine Magnezone: Fine Breloom: Hatched with a Method 1 IVPID. --> Hacked Rotom: Fine Swampert: Hatched with a Method 1 IVPID. --> Hacked Azelf: Fine You got the syncs correct for the PIDs (good), however using a method 1 IVPID (A-B-C-D) is incorrect. There is no tie between IVs and PID for eggs, but having a method 1 indicates you used a generator for the PID. I didn't check ID/SID legality either. Read here for ID/SID legality: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?11730-Simple-Legal-Check Egg PIDs should be grabbed from RNG Reporter if you really want to be 100% legal, I'm not 100% sure if egg PIDs are entirely random, but it's super fishy when there's a method 1 relevance. Just make up a random shiny PID and make up the IVs you want, they can be flawless. However given enough effort, a few of the fake PIDs can be exposed. I suggest taking them from RNG Reporter.
  22. nope, you'd have to mod the rom (there's already a tool for that), or you can just edit the mon. Here's some codes I recently made for those testing RNG on carts for Smogon.
  23. The only way to share cards is with the IR function (at least as far as we can see) Since no redistributable cards exist, it's just a shot in the dark for testing right now... once we get a redistributable card (if at all) it'll be figured out! The 0xAA-0xAB region is what we expect it to lie in for game restrictions (unobtainable items) and redistributability limits. There probably won't be AR codes as there are two locations the cards and gift data exist inside the memory. The first location is the same for all DSes/saves, but the second is spaced oddly depending on the MAC address of your DS ==> any code would have to adjust to that. In addition cards won't save if you inject the memory akin to a card and gift when they are unencrypted during viewing, so someone would have to find the region where the encrypted data is for the man holding the gift for AR codes to be even remotely possible. The scattered memory locations would probably wreak the same havoc, as the game relies on MAC addresses for many things this generation (RNG). YES IT IS ME DEEP IN THOUGHT. awesome pic is awesome.
