The high link Pokemon are of course stored in the save file similar to like Mystery Gifts, as they both have a shiny check associated to their generation. I expect them to be able to be extracted/backed up like .pgf's into some other file type. I expect it to be hard to find, as this file would only have the species, moves, and gender stored in its data as opposed to the many things wondercards have.. I suggest you have sav files before downloading a Pokemon, after downloading, and after catching, and comparing their differences in the save file -
Poking around high link memory locations and how the game determines what Pokemon should appear. 02FE3600 - White 02FE35E0 - Black From there it shows the dex # of the High Link Pokemon you just interacted with the moment you lock in the dialog. This is the earliest the dex # appears in this region, it appears a few more times every so lines. A notable pointer memory location is 02146034. It's the dump location for current/previous encounter for dex #, regardless of encounter (Tested for Eggs, Legends, High Link, and previous saves). I don't understand anything but I just like digging, so someone else can further delve into the code.

... Jirachi can't be caught, therefore it can't have your IDs. Jirachi can only be shiny with the Common GBA Event Restricted with the ID 20043 SID 0

pAC is super outdated. SO outdated. It doesn't have a sync check, so pretty much it is an alpha version of legal.exe that doesn't have a sync check. I've seen certain spreads that are unobtainable in DPPt pass pAC, so it's not a good second opinion.

There is no trash byte normalizer for HGSS, so it will have to be imported in DPPt to have correct trash bytes.

.net framework Pokegen sets the 85h, 00 is Encounter Type Egg so you are fine for that, was just checking.

legal.exe works from a database of IDs and if they are set nature, PIDs as well. Since the IDs are not in the database, it will always appear Hacked.

Jirachi can't be caught in the wild. Incorrect PID type, it will only accept Common GBA Event Restricted(/Unrestricted?), and Dynamic Mystery Gift PIDs. It probably doesn't like the fact that Jirachi is shiny as well. Don't go for such blatant hacks, they don't even look "legal"!

That's an incredibly terrible hack. Use PokeGen instead of PokeSav, it will help you through the process.

They won't be "legit" Don't know what you did with the Suicune... It comes up hacked. Just use F9426F72 (4181880690) for the PID, max the IVs (method 1 suicune) and Location:Route 25, Game: HGSS, Encounter Type Egg. It won't be shiny however.

Method 1 (A B C D) - Normal NDS or GBA - This type is the most common and will be seen on wild/legend encountered pokemon in nds/gba games. Method 2 (A B D E) - NonEvent NDS or GBA - This type is less common and will be seen on wild encountered pokemon in nds/gba games. Method 3 (A C D E) - Rare GBA - This type is seen rarely by wild encountered pokemon in gba games. Method 4 (A B C E) - Uncommon GBA - This type is seen uncommonly by wild encountered pokemon in gba games. CGR (B A C D) [R] - Common GBA Event (Restricted) - This type is seen with particular promotional GBA pokemon. CGU (B A C D) - Common GBA Event (Unestricted) - This type is seen with particular promotional GBA pokemon.

Yeah, a random PID is perfectly fine, it just shouldn't really be related to any algorithm. Say if it's related to method 1... 1/32^6 = 1/(IV combos) =1/1,073,741,824 chance to get the method 1 combo (as you already have a PID in mind) That's your chance of getting a method 1 PIDIV. Granted there are a couple IV sets for a PID for method 1 on average (say 4... 16^8/(32^6)=4). SCV's IVPID.exe is a good illustration of this. That makes it around a minimum of 1/268,435,456th of a chance to get a Method 1 PID on an egg.. Those odds are fishy!

1) there is no IV/PID relation, if it has one it is indicative of a generated one. 2) correct, the egg PV is set in one RNG, and the IVs are set through another after inheritance. 3) pretty much. 4) see 1, there shouldn't be a relation. Having a 32^6 chance of getting that IVPID relation is WAY too low to be "legit". 5) If you can't get the egg PID on a reasonable frame (IE below 4000 eggs) on a particular seed, it's probably hacked. Checking this is so laborious nobody does it. 6) They aren't generated the same way. There might be a relation this generation as the PID and IV inheritance is generated from the same process, as opposed to IV+Inheritance last gen. As Codr said, it's OCD.
