Sorry everyone, didn't mean to leave unexpectedly. You can imagine after all that resetting basically how heartbroken I was to come to the realization that the game was hacked But I think what I have just did is best for everyone and the community (even though I had to lie a little - it's for the best) - I privatized all the videos I made about the Old Sea Map event so no one can see them anymore. - I claimed that I ended the giveaway a little early due to getting too many e-mails and not being able to keep up with them - I said I picked the 6 winners (But I in fact did not give one single Mew away) this is so people can think they didn't win, and then just move on - I said I may open the giveaway up again in the Spring, but I won't I could have just came out and said the game I had was a hacked game but I didn't want people to think that I (MYSELF) was the hacker. Hopefully everyone understands So it was hard to do, but I don't want any hacked pokemon floating around that I would be responsible for. So if anyone claims they have a Mew from RichieL1991, they're lying. If anyone has a Shiny Japanese Mew with the trainer name [insert two japanese characters]EM! Then they are lying. Thanks everyone on this board for pointing that out - I did so much research to make sure that this was legit before I did all this, but I obviously missed the mystery gift part. So thanks to XJ55 for being the first I believe to correctly see that. I hope what I did was the best way to go about it, at least I think so anyways. And don't worry I'm not pulling your guys legs, everything in this thread is the truth. Thanks again project pokemon! :eek:

Hm, thats crazy I wonder how it still triggered the event. I guess there is no way to know. But would it still be legit if it passed up to X and Y?

I don't get it - can't people disable the mystery gift option from appearing though? But how would the event just trigger without any cheating device?

Hmm.. I don't remember I think I payed like 50 bucks for it though. I couldn't imagine paying anymore for it than that

Whoops sorry- I just put it in this section because I would be transferring it to X and Y and then giving it away. No the old sea map is legit, I bought the game in 2009 from someone in Japan who went to the event themselves (in '05). I just recently found the game, beat the elite 4, and triggered the event myself (no cheating device). I show it all in my video

Hmmm... I'm undecided at this point if I am going to clone in it or not. I know a lot of people feel like the pokemon loses legitimacy if it is cloned (not sure where I personally stand on this). I'd be kinda nervous trying to clone it as well (screwing up my game-save) But like I said, not 100% sure where I stand on this. However if I do clone it- it'd probably be like 5 clones or so that be given away!

I thought this might interest some people on this site. To make a long story short I have a japanese pokemon emerald with a legit old sea map. I am now about to start the process of SR'ing to get a shiny Mew. I will then be doing a giveaway for the Mew (I don't really have any interest in shiny legends). However I do realize how extremely RARE this is, and I cannot pass on the opportunity to now try for a shiny. This is... THE. ULTIMATE. POKEMON. CHALLENGE. This is... The Generation (Family-Tree) Nuzlocke Challenge 6 Generations. 6 families of Pokemon. 6 straight Games. 6 straight Nuzlockes. This is a challenge I have made up myself. The idea is to get through the first generation (Gen 1: FireRed/LeafGreen) while doing a nuzlocke challenge. Whatever pokemon are in your party after you beat the elite 4 in the Gen1 game have the opportunity to breed and send their eggs (offspring) to the next generation. This is where the challenge continues, in the next generation you must hatch the eggs and only use these pokemon (without letting them faint) to beat the elite 4. Once you beat the elite 4 the process continues - you breed those pokemon and send the eggs to the next generation. This continues all the way until Generation 6 (X and Y). The challenge is only successful if you defeat the Elite 4 in X and Y with the families of the original 6 pokemon you beat the Elite 4 with in Generation 1. Here are the 5 specific rules: 1. Only the first 6-party team to beat the Elite 4 in generation 1 can breed to send their offspring to the next generation. 2. Female Pokemon offspring must breed the same pokemon. Males can breed with any pokemon in their egg group (to add variation). 3. All offspring must be named after their main parent. (i.e. [pokemon nickname] Jr., 2nd, II, 2, 3rd, III, 3, etc. etc.) 4. All offspring eggs are to be sent to the next generation and hatched in that game, where the challenge continues. (No additional pokemon can be captured after Generation 1) (Some restrictions do not allow for transfer of eggs. In this case just hatch and then send the egg pokemon up). 5. Challenge is not complete until at least one of the original families beats the Elite 4 in the last generation (X & Y = 6th gen.) Nuzlocke Rules: 1. Can only capture the first Pokemon encountered in each new area. 2. A Pokemon fainted is considered dead and must be released (or placed in "deathbox"). 3. All Pokemon must be nicknamed. Do to technical limitations, the generation will go as followed: Gen 1 -- Gen 3 -- Gen 2 -- Gen 4 -- Gen 5 -- Gen 6 The reason is because Eggs from Gen 1 (FR/LG) can be sent up to the DS game on Gen 2 (HG/SS), however the Gen 2 eggs can't be sent back down to the gba Gen 3 games (R/S/E).

I loving the program. Although I encounter one minor error when making pokemon and thats when I give a pokemon an ability and then switch to another pokemon and then switch back the ability dissapears

Whenever I drag my .pkm file into the legal.exe nothing happens it just shows the file location and thats it, would anyone know what the problem is? I have Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 and 2.0 SP2. But i have no idea what the problem could be..

I'm having a problem with Pokesav regarding opening my saved game file up. I have it saved onto a 2GB MicroSD and I converted it into a .SAV file via http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php. The save size was 512kb and when I go to open it up in Pokesav everything is scrambled and for my party pokemon it just shows a whole bunch of lines ( looks like this: | | ||| |) as the name and gives completely random/wrong stats. Can anyone help me solve this problem. (Btw this for platinum and im using the platinum pokesav). Thanks
