  1. The title is pretty much self explanatory. Do you have any favourite movies? Have you sat through a movie you really hated (it can happen) when you were out with friends and they actually liked it. Have you seen a movie you would recommend to someone else? Any moves that definitely should be avoided? I am a bit of a Rachael Leigh Cook fan and I am not sure how many times I have seen "Josie and the Pussycats" (it is probably well into double figures). It is a fairly ordinary movie I suppose but I like it. I would not necessarily recommend it to someone else in the normal run of things. I think one of my favourite movies would be Castle in the Sky. A Studio Ghibli movie. I prefer the English language track on the Japanese DVD though, rather than the "big name" one on the American/UK DVD. I first saw this movie on TV in the UK and eventually was able to get the Japanese DVD release. Anyone else want to contribute?
  2. Download Pokegen from here.. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?6424-Pokemon-Generator-%28Pokesav-replacement-for-Pokemon-editing%29 Load your save with the Electrivire into Pokegen. You will see icons of the party Pokemon over to the right. Left click the Electrivire to highlight it. At the bottom in the Codes section select HG and SS. Press Generate and you will have a code for HG/SS that you can paste into your ARDS Code Manager Program as a new code for Soulsilver. Codes from Pokegen need you to press Select to activate them. Please note this is not really the topic or section for this question. Action Replay questions should be asked in the RAM section. Pokesave questions in the Save Editing Help section. As this is mainly an AR question RAM would have been the best place to put it.
  3. I used Pokegen. Regenerated the PID and got Common GBA (A-B-C-D) with legal.exe. The Speed IV was reduced to 3 in getting a valid PID.
  4. Yes, that would be... \009A\0077\0055\005B\006A
  5. It was still a fair amount of money in those days. I must admit I was wondering how on earth I could afford it at the time. Must say I prefer a more restrained look to my guitars. My Fender Jazz Bass is a Sunburst with Rosewood neck and of course the chrome bridge and pickup covers. My Yamaha 4 string is black (as is my Line6). My acoustic 12 string has I suppose a what you would call blonde finish. The Yamaha 6 string bass looks similar to this... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=14516 Mine is an earlier model and only has a single Truss Rod.
  6. The Trading Card game was (I presume) Generation 1 as it is for the Gameboy Color. Just as well I found one of my Poekmon edition Game Boy Color's the other week. It currently has Peokmon Yellow in it. May have to try out the Trading Card game and see how average it was as I don't think it was particularly well received at the time. I don't think I bought it new. Probably got it off ebay or a forum. No Pokemon trading card in Leaf Green though it does have the Wireless adaptor, I thought they were all released with the adaptor (in the UK anyway).
  7. I'd forgotten that Epiphone have released some "budget" double necks. I don't think the Shergold was anywhere near as expensive as the Gibson ones. If memory serves me correctly (it was probably 30 or more years ago) it was on sale at £60 (reduced). A web search came up empty on twin neck Les Pauls but did highlight this unusual Gretsch... http://www.gretschguitars.com/gear/index.php?product=G5566&cat1=&cat2=&q=&st=1
  8. Just came across this when I found my Fire Red. It came complete with a Limited Edition Pokemon Card. Not sure I ever actually played it, other that to check that the cartridge was OK. Does anyone else remember this?
  9. Did they make a double necked Les Paul? I knew they made the SG double necks. The UK maker Shergold (had to use Google to confirm the name) made some as well, including a rather unusual double neck bass with a 6 string (old style with normal 6 string style tuning, but an octave lower) and an 8 string (4 sets of 2 strings tuned in octaves like a 12 string). Also it was fretless! I think I managed to just miss out on one of those when a local music shop shut down. At least my fretless Yamaha 4 string has light wood inlays where the frets would normally be.
  10. This topic should interest you... http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?10291-US-complete-pokewalker-pokemon
  11. Inevitably I used Charmander in Leaf Green. As for Fire Red, I just found mine a little while ago and it is still sealed in its box!!! May be worth trying out the Wireless Adaptor (even looks like the Leaf Green one has not been used), do some transfers and see if I can get all three starters on it.
  12. Well, I have all three starters for HG/SS on my HG game (started three times, trading the Pokemon to another game to return when I had the third starter. I have uploaded .pkm files if you want to take a look. Also may I suggest trying out Pokegen. At least with that you can check out all the PC boxes easily. You can find it here... http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?6424-Pokemon-Generator-%28Pokesav-replacement-for-Pokemon-editing%29 Just load your save file into it or a ,pkm file. Any questions about using it post them here and someone will answer. Chikorita.pkm Totodile.pkm Cyndaquil.pkm
  13. HG and SS were my first UK DS games, so I was relieved to find all the US codes worked on them. I bought the American releases of the first three DS games, which meant I got them before the UK release which was nice. At least with the ARDS/ARDSi Code Manager you get the option to pickup codes from all the regions which is useful.
  14. No influences on my guitar playing anyway. It is pretty much for my own amusement. I have a fairly narrow necked 12 string acoustic which seems to stay in tune well... for a 12 string. I affectionately (!) call it the Finger Killer as playing bass, my fingers do not harden up. Play it for about 15 minutes for a nice case of sore fingers! I also have the base model Line6 Guitar which is quite fun with all the differnt guitar sounds it can make. Some very clever technology there, as one option is to have a chord tuned sound rather than the standard EADGBE. At least it saved having to buy an electric 12 string (my favourite normal guitar sound) as one of the settings is a Rickenbacker 360-12. The Banjo sound is also pretty impressive. You certainly get a wide variety of guitars in one package! At some point I would like to try to make a solo recording (I do have a cheap midi drum machine) but I can always seem to find other things to take up my time. Then there would be the minor matter of deciding the song!
  15. Which game did these pokemon originate from? They can be obtained in HG and SS. The Tyranitar could have been met at Lv 20 at Mt Silver. The Salamence could have been met in the Safari Zone at Lv 45 or 46.
  16. Playing the game on DS but had a request for some of the Pokewalker Pokemon. I am always on the lookout for .pkm files. Excellent work.
  17. Just checked it out and no trainer information. I presume as it came through the Pal Park it would be the trainer from the game it arrived in The two versions in the last post now have my Diamond Trainer name as they were caught in the Pal Park.
  18. This was the one given out at the New York Pokemon Center, which Feralligates received in his GBA game (he got a few apparently) and transfered to the DS so that he could upload a .pkm file. So the genuine albeit cloned I suppose Pokemon. I can only find Emerald and Leaf Green at the moment. Should have read your post more closely. I'll add the edited version in a moment. Shiny might be a problem to keep it fairly legitmate. Well not sure if the Shiny will stick. The IV's (inevitably) changed in generating a new PID. I managed to find a couple of the ribbons you mentioned.
  19. Had some interesting times with that first band. We we got to play a few songs in Earls Court at the end of a week of various Christian Events in London, which was an interesting experience to say the least. That plus an open air event in Traflagar Square... at least we got to scare the Pigeons! We also got to play at the first Greenbelt Christian Rock Festival... way back when! Looking back it was an eventful time. Most eventful was an open air event in the old Oxford United ground one rainy evening. Needless to say rain and electric intstruments don't mix too well! At least we lived to tell the tale!!! Not sure who, if anyone influences my bass playing. I usually go for a more melodic approach, though to an extent that is dependent on the song. With the 6 string I can almost get well into guitar territory. Just over 4 octave range from the low B to a high C (8th fret on the top string of a 6 string guitar). The TRB-6P also has a bridge pickup so I can go "acoustic" if the song lends itself to it.
  20. Thanks Tillerjpg. Lyrics are definitely not my strong point though I can come up with music if the need arises. I have a couple of 4 string basses (would be shock to go back to 4 though). I have an early 70's Fender Jazz Bass and a Yamaha BB400S Fretless. I have a Korg M1 a friend was selling and decided I didn't want to miss out on it. Also a Roland MT-32 which amazingly was supported in one of the Kings Quest games on the Atari ST. It did sound good. Relyte, My cousin played the Oboe (Grade 8 I think). I think you would definitely be classed a "proper" musician with the Oboe! My last recording session was with a Jazz Band I occasionally play with. We recorded two standards I suppose you'd call them. I much prefer "rock" music.
  21. Here is your Pokemon Seeing as the Vulpix is only in Soul Silver and on Route 38 here is an alternative using that...

    SID Help?

You can trade any of your Pokemon. Anything you caught will do, saves having to return it. I can then upload the save to my PC and read it to see the SID on the Pokemon. FC - 0045 5593 5457 - Roger
  23. I suspect that the SID may have a maximum value of 65535. The safest way to check SID is to look at the Pokemon in Pokesav or Pokegen. If you can't do that directly, you can trade any Pokemon to me and I can upload the save to check the SID. There is a program that checks the legality of a Pokemon, but it has its limitations. Event and Pokewalker Pokemon come out as hacked. If the information on the Pokemon is correct and available for that Pokemon then it is probably legal. Pokegen calculates its PID in conjunction with Nature and IV's (I think). Only certain combinations of IV's will generate a PID in Pokegen. For a Shiny it also takes into account the Trainer ID and SID, unless you generate a Shiny by adjusting SID.

    Wish Chansey

It is Lv 5. Has the Ability Natural Cure. Moves Wish and Sweet Scent. Mine originated in Emerald and came via the Pal Park into Diamond or Pearl. Happiness of 140. Calm Nature.
  25. My main istrument is the bass guitar. I currently play a Yamaha TRB-6P 6 string bass. I do play guitar and a bit of keyboards for my own amusement mostly. I suppose my main claim to fame is an albun recorded way back when and released on vinyl by a Christian record label was re-issued a few years back on CD... in Korea. I managed to buy it online from the US. A more recent (using the term loosely) band I was with had a reunion three years ago and the keyboard player put some videos on Youtube. This song I would say is my favourite out of our somewhat limited repertoire. So, if you want to see some ageing "rockers" go ahead... click At least I have a DVD and CD of the "best of" the session. I even have an original CD of our stuff which was transferred from tape. Never released commercially, just done for our own satisfaction I suppose (it was a while ago now). I know we have drummers and guitarists around the place. Anyone want to own up to their musical talents?
