  1. Yes, Earls Court in London is a pretty big place, as is Trafalgar Square. Not really sure of the exact numbers. Depending on sophistication and obviously the amount of time available to do the recordings, you may get a chance to correct peoples mistakes (assuming you are not all not perfect). With computer technology it is even possible to adjust the timing a little. You can do a lot more now than when we were in the studios way back when. Our reunion was recorded on a 16 track Hard Disk based recorder a friend was able to bring along. We played live, but at least each instrument was recorded individually. The keyboard player/leader took the recordings and was able to make 8 decent tracks oout of the multiple takes of the 9 tracks we recorded. It was all recorded on video but we were only able to get 5 decent videos out of it all. Needless to say, it did take a while!
  2. Yellzo, I had problems getting Hidden Power Rock. Now sorted. Had to adjust an IV on each for a legal PID Edit now 13:15 - Jonesy, your Pokemon are ready. I need to find some space on my Heartgold save to put them together. When would be a good time to trade
  3. Pokesav is used to read in a save file that has been uploaded to a PC by way of an Action Replay DSi (doesn't do HG or SS) or an NDS Adaptor Plus (does all DS Pokemon saves). You can Edit Pokemon in Pokesav by changing any of the information on it. I prefer a program called Pokegen which does much the same thing. With the save editors you are able to edit a nw Pokemon onto your save. This Pokemon can be written to a .pkm file (which some people request). from Pokesav or Pokegen. Other Pokemon Requests require your save with the new Pokemon added to it being passed back to the DS and the new Pokemon traded over wifi. The final Pokemon Requests are for an AR code containing the Pokemon. These can be generated by Pokesav and Pokegen. Requests can also involve changing an existing Pokemons moves by way of the save editors. I had a Poekmon Request elsewhere that required me trade a Shellos into my save, edit it to change its form from West (pink) to East (blue) and trade it back.
  4. My main complaint about the place is that some runs you catch Pokemon with pretty much every ball and the next time you hardly catch a thing. Figuring that the annoying tactics (to me) seems to make very little difference I just throw the ball instantly. I always find the chart of Safari Zone Pokemon at Gamefaqs frustrating as it can be difficult to locate the Pokemon that you want. I loaded the information to an Excel Spreadsheet and can now access it in alphabetical order of Pokemon. As well as Gamefaqs there is a complete guide to the Safari Zone in the HG/SS Volume 2 Strategy Guide.
  5. I seem to only use the Pokewalker from my normal HG game. Haven't used the SS one in a while or the one from my original HG. I have a tendency to only upload from it maybe once or twice a week. The last time I think I loaded about 1100 Watts. I think I last uploaded last week sometime. Haven't got around to uploading the next lot of Watts yet.
  6. I never quite got to the stage of having to quit my day job to concentrate on playing. Glad to hear of your opportunity in a few weeks Tillerjpg, and you get the chance to do some recording. Have you done any before? My last recording session was with the Jazz Band I sometimes play with. It took about 2 hours or so to do my part on a couple of tracks with various takes etc. Piano and bass were recorded first. I think I have managed to play in front of about 20,000 people..
  7. I am around most of the time so I ought to be able to handle Pokemon Requests. I am in the UK though so anything beyond midnight my time (7pm East Coast 4pm West) may not get processed until the next day. I have been know to sleep earlier or later so you may be OK.
  8. Alakazam AR Code as requested. Select to activate.
  9. I use Pokegen for Saves and Pokemon. For this one, the only way to get a legal PID was to reduce the Attack IV to 30 (reduced attack by 1). I put the level Met to 1 for an egg that hatched as I presume that is what you meant by Day-Care...
  10. Give this a try... 94000130 FFFB0000 B2111880 00000000 2000E71C 000000FF 0000E71C 00400003 D2000000 00000000 Go completely into the game. Press Select to activate the code. Save and switch off. Restart the game and at the Save select go to the Pokewalker. You will now have the two routes you had before and also Yellow Forest. This does not give you the Wondercard, but you get the Route you want. To get the three Routes unlocked by recent Events (Night Sky's Edge, Winner's Path and Yellow Forest) replace Line 4 with... 0000E71C 02600003 Or for WInner's Path and Yellow Forest... 0000E71C 02400003
  11. Hi, welcome to Project Pokemon. I have been a fan since the GBA games came out, I have subsequently bought all the older GB and GB Color games. Strangest purchase was an American Pokemon Yellow from a UK High Street Store a few years after the game was initially available. More recently I was able to get a Pokemon Edition Game Boy Color (off Ebay). I also managed to buy a new Gameboy a few years ago from Hong Kong from one of the well known online sellers. Now... if only I could remember where I put it!
  12. I have yet to watch 2012. I do like disaster movies. I shall probably wait until it comes on Satellite. I have Satellite TV and subscribe to the movie channels so all the movies get there sooner or later after the DVD release and normally a year or so before the films get shown on TV. With the movie channels there is no logo in the corner of the screen and there are no commercials so it is as good as watching on DVD. The second Transformers movie is on next month sometime I think, I want to see that having liked the first one. I bought the first on HD-DVD. Bought from the US so that I had it a while before the UK DVD release. The advantage of Satellite is that they sometimes have some of the lesser known movies which can be interesting. There are 11 different movie channels so there can be a good variety of movies showing. There is one that shows the movies new to Satellite. Last week I saw Woverine.
  13. I finally got to see Avatar a month or so ago when it was released onto DVD and Blu-Ray over here. I bought the Blu-Ray version and it is certainly has very good picture quality. I liked the movie as well... I am still not totally convinced that Blu-Ray is the best quality hi-def movie medium.I have yet to see a Blu-Ray that matches the best that HD DVD could offer. I suppose it could be another VHS/Betamax situation where the slightly inferior format won. In general though movies on Blu-Ray are not necessarily a good deal over the DVD version in terms of picture quality. A lot of my movies on Blu-Ray (and for that matter on HD DVD) are not really that much better than a DVD version would have been.
  14. Lokolin, I see you are reposting these. I can probably get them done in around 4 hours time. I presume they are egg hatched which is a pretty safe way of getting a legal looking Pokemon. I'll check in later before making them in case anyone beats me to it.
  15. I remember being at a gig with the band I put the link to. The opening band came on and we thought wow, this lot are good. How can we compete with that. We needn't have worried. Our only problem was an encore as we had played all our (somewhat limited) repertoire. We had to play a song again, but the audience didn't seem to mind. I must admit I lost interest in playing with that band as we had about 8 gigs over the space of a year. At that point I quit. I don't think the band continued for that long after. Unfortunately we came in when punk was starting to make its mark in the UK (so... a while ago). We did seem to miss out though. At one point we had a boy and girl lead singing duo in the band, but she had left. Had we still had her we might have got a tour with a hit band in the UK and things might have been different. We did at least go in a couple of studios to record some tracks (one being the one where we recorded with the first band) which resulted in 8 tracks (which I have on a CD now).
  16. I finally had to get some more sleep around 5am this morning. When you posted I was asleep. I am on UK time so this evening (my time) would probably be best. I am 5 hours ahead of East Coast USA. Not sure where you are.
  17. I loaded these into Pokegen to put onto my HG save. For some srange reason some appeared to be eggs (which I corrected). They are ready for trading. FC - 0045 5592 5457 - Roger.
  18. I see those codes are for Platinum. Where do the codes put them?
  19. The Swampert and Heatran had to have one IV reduced below 30 to get a valid PID. Other than that I have made them as specified. FC - 0045 5592 5457 - Roger
  20. Another movie I like is "Big" with Tom Hanks. I bought the Blu-Ray with the extended version of the movie. It may have been my imagination, but the extended version looked much better than the standard version. Watching the extended version I was hard-pressed to spot which bits had been extended. I had to import it from the US as the Blu-Ray has not been released over here (probably won't be!). Region locked, but I have a backwards compatible 80 Gb US PS3 so I can play US Region locked Blu-Rays. Someone in the UK on a Forum I frequent was selling it at a good price so I thought it would be a good reserve machine, the fact I could import US Blu-Rays safely was also a key factor. Having that PS3 enabled me to import the last two big Disney releases "Up" and "The Princess and the Frog" (region locked being Disney) which meant I could see them on Blu-Ray pretty soon after the movies opened in the cinemas here.
  21. Frozenfury45 here are you AR codes. Select to activate... Shad99 your Salamence is ready. FC - 0045 5592 5457 - Roger

  23. I am not sure exactly how Pokesav generates the PID for the Pokemon, but Pokegen does it by taking into account the IV's and Nature of the Pokemon when generating it. This seems to produce better results for legality when the .pkm is checked by legal.exe. On a number of occasions I have taken a "hacked" Pokemon .pkm file and use Pokegen to generate the PID and this has resulted in a clean bill of health from legal.exe. You can fix certain IV's in Pokegen when generating a PID to spped up the process, but this can result in the program not findng a valid one. With your Pokemon I left all the values open to change and the program found a valid PID but in so doing had to reduce the Speed IV from 5 to 3 to be able to use it. You can find Pokegen here... http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?6424-Pokemon-Generator-%28Pokesav-replacement-for-Pokemon-editing%29 That is my preferred program for Pokemon or Save editing.
  24. just checked out the web sites about that movie. Will probably check it out when it come to DVD/Blu Ray. Not sure it is even in the cinema here. I see the Rotten Tomatoes site did not particularly like it. Another of my favourite movies would have to be "Leon: The Professional". The extended cut being the best version. The movie is basically about a hitman with a heart and stars Jean Reno as the hitman, Natalie Portman in her film debut and Gary Oldman. The film is violent, by nature of the subject matter but has some gentler moments.
  25. You would stand a better chance of an answer to this in the RAM section, which deals with AR Codes. I did respond though, to your similar question in the PKM section.
