  1. I wonder if there’s an unused not properly programmed clothing item in shoes. Because if you hex edit the block, you’ll notice it is simple all changed to 01s.
  2. Check PKHeX’s event flags, it might be one of the options to re-enable roamer/TV script.
  3. Can you reopen with tinke (after closing the program) to see if your changes stuck? After that, if it did indeed stick, try to make sure you reimport the changes into the ROM, and actually play the modded copy. if need be, redump the edited area (from the edited ROM) then reopen in tinke to check if the edits are there. right now, it just sounds like one of the insertion processes are missing.
  4. There are multiple reports about it, hence why said ruling is in place here.
  5. Probably. But that’ll require you to dump the save everytime, which sounds like a pain. Better to get it done via RAM reading I think..
  6. Make sure they are in the /switch folder of your SD card, if I’m not mistaken.
  7. It is possible that you merely hacked the Z crystal onto the mon, but used the wrong version. They are actually two item IDs for the Z crystal: one meant to be in the bag, one meant to be held. I presume you made the mon hold one in the bag, hence Z-move option didn't appear in battle.
  8. It's a Bool, literally just bool1 or bool2. I assume bool2 is yes (and bool1 is no)
  9. Load up your save, then Use PKHeX’s Encounter database And look up a Dusknoir, then view an appropriate one, then close the database, then set to your PC, then export edited save from PKHeX, then import edited save into your game.
  10. Depends on who you ask. PKHeX doesn’t touch areas you yourself don’t touch (besides checksums) do I’ll say it’s fine. (I’m gonna assume when you say edit eggs, you’re deleting them here) but some people are more strict, and would say that as long as you’re playing on a device that can have the save extracted, it’s already not legit. anyway your thread isn’t about creative works, so I’ve moved your thread to a more appropriate spot
  11. Maybe your product and dev keys?
  12. How about don’t add impossible species, or stuff with illegal moves. In general, no illegals. In this case, it doesn’t matter whether in console or on emulator. A save is a save, and PKHeX reads it as such, and writes as such. The limitations to what you can add applies to both. This already sounds like a “you” problem. My suggestion is to not make stuff from scratch, and use the programmed encounter database. Anyhow, it’s only an issue when unedited mons or absolutely perfect legal mons for that game turn into Eggs..
  13. that's good news, most of the data should be there. You just need to extract it correctly now.
  14. I'm assuming you're on SM. Inject this Marshadow into the mystery gift, then receive it in-game via the deliveryman. After you receive the gift (Marshadow and the Crystal), equip the crystal in-game to Marshadow. You've also need to have received the Z-Ring legitimately.
  15. I answered you in Discord :3 to other readers, my answer was So it *should* be fine if you aren’t doing anything crazy to your save
  16. Once again, it depends on what your save is like. Can you still access the party while being stuck in that glitch land?
  17. No means no. If we don’t even host saves, people can’t “not read the don’t go online” warning and won’t end up online a shared save. If we host saves, people can “not read the don’t go online” part; they’ll go online without ever seeing the warnings. Besides, those are only reported and observed issues. There could be more issues than that weren’t observed and thus went unreported. Something like this was theorised by mods privately, so we are not at all surprised to see it happen. Only surprised it took them so long. So until something changes (like the reports were proven to be bad, and/or it’s not as bad as initially reported etc), I don’t foresee changing that ruling.
  18. depends on what it looks like. I can't guarantee it is possible. We need to look at it before we know. We're not magicians
  19. NDS/3DS dates can be changed. As to trainer information, if you change the TID/SID haphazardly, it’ll stop being shiny.
  20. And the game does not like that.
  21. Unfounded speculation: I think they may be storing the profile’s Nintendo Account’s unique ID somewhere, not just plain OT/TID/SID. Or, hear me out. Saves that goes online in older games get a unique identifier issued from the server. The server could log and pair your Nintendo Account and the Unique identifier on their end. So sorta like a HOME tracker situation: server logs data and matches it to the tracker (or in this case the unique identifier). Could they log OT/TID/SID combo of people who have done bad bad trades? They could, we don’t know. We don’t work for them.
  22. There is no legal shiny Darkrai in legends right now.
