  1. what's with the title.
  2. You can perform coordinate editing: There are some limitations; I think you'll need to be in a cave before you attempt to teleport to a different spot. It might work best if you save in a random ultra wormhole spot before attempting to teleport. Make sure you keep a safe backup of the unedited save.
  3. PID and IV is linked for mons caught in Gen 3. Shininess is dependent on PID, TID and SID. So to change the IVs of a Shiny Mew, you have to change the PID to keep the combination valid. And to keep it shiny on the newly changed PID, you would have to change the TID and SID to.
  4. Use a Sandshrew from LGP in the encounter database as the base of your edits. Tools > Data > Encounter Database
  5. Load the game without loading save states. And please stop multi-posting. Either think long and hard before you post, so that they're all in one post; or edit any new info into your latest unanswered post. I look forward to hearing whether loading without state saves works for you.
  6. Did you export the edited save from PKHeX? Did you restore the edited save into your game? Did you load the saves normally? (as opposed to loading state saves)
  7. Then play on your physical device. If you can't save in-game on the emulator, the 'save' can't be used on PKHeX. We can help with save issues, but that is an emulator caused issue, beyond our skills. You gotta go to the support page/discord/forum for the emulator.
  8. As I said earlier, I've not edited that frame before, no idea where it is. That appears to be beyond the scope of editing stuff niche to Pokemon, but rather all VC edits in general, so you may have better luck searching the net for general VC edits. For now, I'm trying to scour the net for it too. edit: Linking to our discussion on Discord for posterity: https://discord.com/channels/343093766477053953/367479180398428170/904804660328673370
  9. To be frank, it's been a while since I've dealt with them and had to think about them. Try to see which could be mounted and would give you the files. The game name should correspond to the patch. I've managed to find one of the game names from my older extracts, and it is something like As for why there are 2.app files, no clue. I think there being more than 1 is normal even for 3DS titles tho. Edit: Yup, perform the standard steps to dump romfs, including mounting 00000001.app image to drive, then viewing it. The ROM is in a folder called rom, and all the patches are outside.
  10. It's been a while since I missed with VC edits. I *think* you need to decompile the .app file to get separate files. GodMode9 should be able to do that. Once done, you'll find the GB/GBC ROM for the Pokemon game + all the patch files. There will be more than one patch file, with various patch files for different Pokemon games and languages (even tho you're technically only working on one single game.) The patch files should have the GB/GBC game IDs in it. I don't know anything about modifying the VC frame itself, never tried it.
  11. Based on what you provided, it doesn't appear the save is properly initialized. 1) Receive your starter, access the PC at least once 2) Save twice in the game itself (not using Citra's state save. save the game using the menu inside the game, you know, pressing the 3DS X key and all) 3) Close the emulator completely when trying to access the save in PKHeX There is no data in the file for PKHeX to read. You need to save properly for there to be data for PKHeX to read.
  12. I wasn't aware of that part, good to know
  13. Index 66, 68, 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 80, details same as above.
  14. From my experience it should be fine. There might be minor inconsistencies with event flags, but I don't expect it.
  15. Depends on what else you do. AFAIK they've not banned for modding save files so far, so if they do ban, it's likely for something else you've done on your Switch.

  17. Use Hax mode of PKHeX.
  18. A birthday Happiny has been announced! Starting from November 1st 2021, it will be distributed to SWSH. Players can receive the serial code from Pokémon Centers during their birthday month. This event has been announced in Japan and Singapore. They plan to add this distribution to BDSP and PLA once those games are out. In the mean time, this is the info on the Mystery Gift server for SWSH: Given that both SG and JP's distribution start on the same date, they may choose to use the same wonder card for both.
  19. Details for Index 89 of normal_encount and normal_encount_rigel1 and normal_encount_rigel2 (minor differences, in raid chance) Rewards for Index 89 of normal_encount and normal_encount_rigel1 and normal_encount_rigel2 (minor differences, in raid chance) Details for Index 85 of dai_encount Rewards for Index 85 of dai_encount
