As long as the the region is Japanese and the names are also, it should appear so
-
Ok well the problem first off was that Azelf was in an egg ... I don't know if you wanted it that way, but for a legit Azelf it can't be an egg. I've fixed it for you in Pokesav, and the name issue hasn't occurred. I've also used Pokegen quite a fair bit and haven't found any issues with the name, talk to the guy who made the thread see what he says. The Location problem came from the hex not being set, a location, region any of that wasn't set, and the PID was invalid, I fixed it the best I can (quite new to all this lol.) I've attached the Azelf that you've made, it passes legal, but it is at level 50. I'm not sure if the level being changed would still get it passed the legality checker . If you still want it as an egg (definitely won't pass legal) just set it as egg, the hatch conditions will fix them self when the egg hatches. Then in pokegenerator, go to the met thing, and find day-care couple or something to that effect, set the date to when you want the egg received and you should be fine. I hope this helps. Yeah I've always said Sep-tile, skeptile would be spelt that way . The adverts on telly for some Arceus event said Arkayus.

What is your favorite sinnoh pokemon, based on looks!
Tbird replied to PaDdY!'s topic in Generation 4
None of my favourite lookers are from Sinnoh, but I remember thinking Roserade [sPRITE]407[/sPRITE], Luxray [sPRITE]405[/sPRITE], Toxicroak [sPRITE]454[/sPRITE] and Lumineon [sPRITE]457[/sPRITE] looked cool. Oh and Yanmega ... But the back sprite totally ruined it for me . Hopefully Black and white will bring forth a better backsprite - as you get to see the whole back of the pokemon . In fact I think I used those in one of my run-throughs -
I've always pronounced it Za-two. But I've never heard it pronounced before, so I don't know. I've only recently found out that Arceus is pronounced Ar-kay-us. I just never get the chance to hear how they are pronounced lol. And Milotic... Still unsure if it's Mile - Oh -Tic OR Mill - otic

I don't know I suppose you're right to an extent. But at the same time I've ran with Trickroom bronzong lead that worked real well, and it's in essence The same sort of thing. And yeas there's an aerodactyl + _insert fast taunter_ problem, but if you can predict that you can get rid of that lead (Gyro Ball) and still have a fresh pokemon, plus all of the pokemon just waiting to set up rain dance in the wings. It's just two different ideas - though I guess logic does really say dance and get out as quick as you can. Depends on what you want from the lead.

impressions Black and White General Impressions Thread
Tbird replied to Guested's topic in Generation 5
I get the impression that the new generation is aimed to target some old-time fans and bring them back in for the fun. I think this because of how the characters are older than they have been in previous generations (so 18 year olds don't have to play with the awkward realisation they are moving a ten year old boy around a weird world lol) and that the region is set in a more city like way - from what we can see. Similarly I think Game freak tried to rope us back in by bringing in the old time favourite remakes of GSC so that we would give more thought into playing the next generation - that might explain why it has been announced so quickly after the release of the remakes - so that us older players don't get bored of waiting. It looks to be good though, because I like both the ideas that have been incorporated into the new generation so I think I'll give it a look see . -
Special defence isn't really a problem, as the two weather changes that I see running around a lot come at you from the physical side. And with solid rock those 4x weakness become 3x ... still quite large, but with that huge defence and HP you should be fine. Though yes, if you can't hit abomasnow ... you may find yourself in a tough spot ... though +2 X-Scissor off of Kabutops should more than do the trick . The problem with electrode, though it outspeeds pretty much every lead, it doesn't aid in sweeping, it just becomes another rain dance setter upper, that's why bronzong is a nice effective lead - though often prone to being taunted ... But the SR support really does help, Electrode works better in the UU environment where there isn't quite so much bulk and, as so, not so much of a need for SR.

These all seem to be pretty standard sets, but could you please post the nature ad EV's so we can be sure as to what we are rating. Moves alone don't tell us much

Well let's see what it is you're trying to get out of each pokemon. A) Divert Electric attacks/ Make an Immunity to Electric Attacks B) Effectively kill things that Take away the rain, and kill them as fast as you can. So while the two pokemon you are using do these jobs respectively, let's see if we can find one that does both. Any ground provides immunity, and anything with volt absorb does too. Now after having a look, jolteon would seem to be the best bet. However even with specs and moves specialised for T-Tar, hippowdon and abomasnow, it stilll wouldn't be effective for countering these pokes. However a look at the grounded pokemon shows that both Mamoswine and Rhyperior could do the job. I am swayed more towards rhyperior as he would also benefit from the sandstorm brought by T-Tar and Hippowdon. (but mamoswine can benefit from the hail brought by abomosnow.) Some calculations here show that Rhyperior can OHKO most variants of Tyranitar (apart from any packing a lot of defence). And that Hippowdon is 2HKOd by two avalanches, while neither can do the same to you thanks to solid rock and rhyperiors huge defence. So, though it would be unconventional, Rhyperior could really help this team and free up a slot for another rain dance sweeper (and would provide another fire resistance for your steel types) Here's the set I have in mind, Rhyperior (M) @ Life Orb/Choice Band Ability: Solid Rock EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/6 Def Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Avalanche/Aqua Tail - Earthquake - Stone Edge/Super Power - Swords Dance/ Rock Polish/ Rest/ Protect/ Substitute/Super Power I would personally run the set that is down the left hand side. However if you want to opt for something speedy, then Rock polish + Aqua Tail is the way to go (however even if you have speed, the likes of salamence and other 4x weak to ice will all hate to be hit with avalanche, even with 60 bp). If you want to have a means of recovery you can go for rest. Though this would be to assume that the opposing team has more than one weather changer. Protect would allow you to scout for what's coming next - though frankly wouldn't be that useful if you're just trying to eliminate the threat. Substitute, I don't recommend using on its own, it's to be used in conjunction with rock polish or swords dance if you can find the room for it, though the dilemma is which move, Earthquake gets T-Tar, Stone Edge get's Abomasnow and Avalanche gets Hippowdon. Superpower is noted because it can get dispicable damage on T-Tar, even with Max Def investment, OR max HP investment and OHKO's max HP +1 curse Def T-Tar after Stealth Rock. Or it could be used if you want to run a Choice band. As a general rule for hippowdon I would say Just attack it asap, because it does have roar, and if you fail to OHKO after a swords dance, or if it roars you on the turn you use swords dance, then you've blown your chance at damaging/killing it. (Concidering roar has a negative priority you may still want to use Aqua Tail.) Anyway that's my take on it lol.

Mine would be: 1: Normal - I don't know why. I just like a lot of normal typed pokes. Some of them are some of the most awkward to work/gimmicky pokemon ever and as such can fill some really good specialised roles. And I love the irony of that . 2: Bug - I just think they are cool. I dislike a lot of bug pokemon but absolutely love others. 3: Dark - I'm a sucker for the typing and have always been a sucker for umbreon and absol.

Hey and welcome You should come on our shoddy server sometime and test out some stuff before you commit to anything . Ok lame reason, but we need to boost numbers so come just for the fun of it lol.

It was between normal and bug... and I prefer more normal types than I do bugs so I voted normal

Probably white. I've never cared much for the colour black lol. Might change if I see some awesome version exclusives for black, but as it stands I reckon white.

Hey Victor, There's loads and little you can do here really depending on where your interests lie lol. There's the competetive battling section, go and check that out, go look at some teams posted up and read some of the warstories, see if you learn anything new. Similarly you can download shoddy (if you haven't already) and come and battle with us all on the PP server. We'll all be happpy to help you improve your battling skills if you'd like. There's also the game 'hacking' section that deals with all the different aspects of editing roms, generating AR codes and other weird stuff that I'll never understand. Have a look around and see what interests you .

Grass snake is called Tsutaja The fire pig is called Pokabu And the water ... fluff is called Mijumara (http://serebii.net/blackwhite/pokemon.shtml) Though it's only leaked info it pretty much looks like these are the confirmed Jp names. I like the look of the grass snake though it does look a little like a ripped off version of treeko ... Let's hope that its final evo isn't as ugly as sceptile . There's also two new moves and an ability. The ability is Illusion and it looks to be much the same as tranform only in ability form. Claw sharpen raises accuracy and attack. Trickery is a stat calculated move. Again from Serebii . EDIT: Looking over the pokes, and if what I have heard is true about one of them having a never seen before type combo, I speculate the fire pig could be fire/electric
