  1. It's the exact same set as espyjump from smogon. This is for you're own sets remember mate.
  2. One of the biggest walls in NU is Regice. Hitting that thing for super effect is more important, as the psychics of UU will be killed by anything attached to a + 6 (Mr mime has 40 def ...). Similarly bastiodon and probobopass, glaceon and exeggutor take an unholy amount from fire punch, the two biggest sweepers and physical walls in NU. And, you'd outspeed espeon and whipe it out with fire punch due to its base 60 def. Using magmar would freak everyone out too . They'd be thinking "pshhh look at this noooob using magmar ... oh wait he just swept my enitre team :O" ... or something like that . And that's about it. Haha
  3. There isn't a HUGE amount of weather in magmortar's natural environment, and if anything stealth rocks can help/be neither here nor there on this set (So long as it is EV'd right) as once the subs broke it will only be taking one hits worth of damage anyhow. Though keep this right out of OU lol.
  4. Fire punch over Faint attack would be a better choice IMO. Not every team carries a ghost type, so you're losing a lot of neutral coverage etc. Similarly, Fire punch packs stab, which with more base as is, will nail a lot of neutral pokemon for a fair bit more damage. I ran this set too on my old Double Drum team, however I used magmar, as it has higher speed and equal attack. So as a thought maybe switch this set to magmar.
  5. The last game I played was pokemon if shoddy battle counts. Before that I was finishing off Fallout 3 .
  6. The Sound of Muzak - Porcupine Tree ^ ^ ^ Drummers out there: go listen
  7. www.serebii.net Possibly mamepato's second stage evo? It looks all right I got to say. From the way it looks, I think we may have a more specially focused bird than previous generations. Which isn't too bad. But that's just the impression I get, we'll never know until we see the stats .
  8. Well barring fire types HP Ice hits the prior 3 pokemon for 4x damage as opposed to 2x damage, and flygon OHKO's both infernape and heatran. And I believe anything in UU too, though don't hold me to that lol. So, again IMO, HP Ice is better as you have fire covered with Flygon. Though I suppose you may get a few Surprise KO's with HP water. But another down side is if you're locked into HP water you give Suicune time to set, vaporeon a free 25% health and lose neutra/super effectl coverage over a lot of pokemon too (breloom can easily come in and set up etc).
  9. I'd recommend that you just try them out before you actually make them part of the team (especially Gallade). Whereas I prefer to have a lot of bulk where it can be had, you might favour a quick set up + sweep, so just make sure you test them first and tweak where you deem necessary. If they work for you then keep them in. If it's not working then stick to what you had EDIT ... to your edit: I'm saying most Jolteon run HP grass, and showing you why out speeding jolteon isn't necessary.
  10. Brick break because the stat drop that close combat brings isn't all that great. With a base speed of 120 + 252 EVs + Timid nature is about as fast as they come . With that huge drop in power, you'd gain the ability to out speed Jolteon and and Aero (and other choice scarfers). Jolteon isn't a problem as it probably won't be able to hurt you anyway (most run HP grass to take out swampert) and aero ... well aero should have been disposed of by the time you bring sceptile out. I suppose it is all down to preference, but the power drop just isn't worth the small speed advantage; IMO anyway.
  11. I had a Simpsons game on the old gameboy ... that game was pretty awesome. Same game?
  12. Jambi - Tool ♪ Shine on forever, Shine on benevolent sun. Shine upon the broken, shine until the two become one ♪
  13. Big - Dead letter Circus
  14. As far as shinies are concerned there's no concrete number of tries just the probability. So even if the chance of a shiny was one in two, you could well find up to (and in excess of) 10 normal coloured pokemon before you find a single shiny. As for the code being used, no it shouldn't effect it. So long as the code in itself only effects the steps taken to hatch. If the code messes with the PID/SID/IVs etc of the egg then it will effect if the pokemon is shiny or not. However, as far as I know, the quick hatch code does only change the steps needed to hatch the egg.
  15. I'm a sucker for RPGs ... though They have to be really pretty awesome. I hate MMO games though . Erm couple of my favourite games at the moment are UFC undisputed 2010, Fallout 3 and Resident evil 5 >: D

  17. That's got to be a record As for me I'm doing a pokerun at the moment and haven't got as far as DPt .. but I'm not far off
  18. Not really got time to take a look at the set properly but the sprite thing would be [*sprite]pokedex number[/sprite] - for instance [*sprite]048[/sprite] without the * = [sprite]048[/sprite]
  19. The EV and nature posted originally are great(ish) for the set as the calm mind boosts the special defence, so you want to pack as much physical defense as possible so you're not left vulnerable. However, I'm with Randomspot, suicune DOES do it better. But at the same time, with the unexpectedness of this set, it could pull it off quite nicely.

  21. I'm guessing posts on introduction threads don't count towards overall post totals as they add nothing of relevance to the site. (possibly)
