To set a pokemon right click on an empty Box/Party slot (or pre-existing pokemon) and select the SET option.

Sir Shroom, you are banned because frankly I am running out of reasons to ban you, and at this point it would be juvenile of me to once again ban you for being so mushy.

This happens because simply implementing the pokemon into the game means that the game doesn't get to process the pokemon. Think of it like a room, the room's the pokedex, and it's guarded by cameras all around, if something teleports into this room, the cameras won't pick it up. So what you have to do if you want it to trigger the pokedex is put it in an egg and hatch it. That way the game goes through the process screen of "PLAYER obtained POKéMON!"

And you kind sir are dead on a few accounts. Reason A) Being a zombie, and the king of the zombie alliance at that. Reason B) Breaking your NDS Reason C) Not realising, due to your zombie self, that you in fact broke aforementioned NDS due to not knowing your new found zombie strength. Reason D) Cuz = ones relative; specifically an uncle/auntie's child. Not the cause of something, which is "because"or "'cause".
