  1. <p> The polling continues and is heating up fast now. This is a great way to get your input into Project Pokémon. Also, if you feel that you have been swayed to vote otherwise, you can now change your vote once. Remember: Polling ends Sunday night.</p> <p> <a href="http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?6919-Project-Pokmon-s-New-Mascot-Poll">Project Pokémon's New Mascot Poll</a></p> <p> <a href="http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?6958-Project-Pokmon-s-Mascot-Vote-Changing-Thread">Mascot Vote Changing Thread</a></p>
  2. Polling for the new mascot is just over half-complete. If you would like to change your vote, please post in this thread. Rules: Only one change is allowed Changes must be done by the Poll's closing time Please use include what you are going from and what you are changing your vote to. You may also want to include a reason to push others to vote with you. Any lobbying done without changing your vote can be made in the original thread. The original thread Changes:
  3. As the new site is integrating itself, we have decided to hold a public poll for the members of the community to decide who Project Pokémon's new mascot Pokémon will be. This Pokémon will serve as a symbol to the site, on userbars and site logos. The Pokémon to choose from are: Dragonite, Suicune, Dialga, Latios, and Deoxys. The poll will run for a week and will be tallied on Sunday night. Any changes can be made here: Mascot Changing Thread
  4. If you want to change the description of a Pokemon, then you need a tool called thenewpoketext. You need to use a getall command to look at all the text to find where the description is. When you find the description file then you need to edit the patch so that the xml looks like this: And then you can patch your text file.
  5. <p><p><p><p><p>Congrats, your also the first person to receive one from me</p></p></p></p></p>

  6. This is my map replacements for PPRE b07 at map 584: And this is map 585: Map 215: And lastly add these triggers in map 215 (requires PPRE b07) Note: All three scripts and triggers need to be modified To use: Climb Mount Coronet. When you get to the door before you normally exit out onto the top. Take a left to battle Dialga and a right to battle Palkia.
  7. I don't think it's Eevee. It is probably either Espeon or Jolteon based on the green color.
  8. 392 Infernape One of 5 fire Pokemon in Sinnoh [HGSSSPRITE]392[/HGSSSPRITE]
  9. 389 Torterra [HGSSSPRITE]389[/HGSSSPRITE]
  10. Pink, snake, 2 more evos.... must be Dratini?
  11. Cryptix, all the information is known to me. I have what may be one of the only map tools. What it does is it searches through the ARM files to get the full correlation set. This set links the map index (Twinleaf = 411) to its encounter rate data, scripts, text, and event data. The map_matrix is used upon calling maps. When you cross that loading line from Route 201 into Twinleaf town, it loads all of this data, and then calculates where it is on that map matrix (just like your image) and then loads the graphical map "map03_27c" which is land_data.narc/0. Edit: AlphaMap, and its subprograms, and the Alpha-Py Series are not out for release yet.
  12. The extra data is unknown to me so far (as I haven't yet looked into it), but I do have some guesses as to what makes it up. As a matter in fact, the relationship to land_data_release is very very complicated. Land_data_release files are just the visual overlay of the maps, and very often more than one of these relates to a single map. Twinleaf is 0 according to graphics utilities only. Otherwise it is 411. The only actual program that can map out these complex regions is "AlphaRegion" though it's nowhere near completion yet...
  13. The problem with HGSS and Poketex is that no one list fits all ROMs due to different patches and edits. The new idea is to isolate the single texture narc and to edit it directly with a single list. Figure out how to extract the NARC from /a/0/8/1 Rename that file to ANYTHING.nds (Please don't try to load this into an emulator....) Open up Poketex with the attached list and load ANYTHING.nds Edit as desired Reload NARC (with its original filename) into the ROM at /a/0/8/1 hgssover.txt
  14. Well, to help out, I've extracted all the sounds roughly. I can turn them into a cleaner format using a massive soundfont library, but that involves going through all the files one by one. I hope they help. gs_sound.zip
  15. I wrote a nice page on the wiki just for you, AngelSl. http://projectpokemon.org/wiki/Map_matrix

    Hello All!

Hello Project Pokemon! Although I've been around for some time now, I have not yet posted in the forums, so I shall introduce myself now. I'm Alpha. I'm a webmaster of a small site called PokeSplash and a Gen IV researcher (DPPt, HGSS). I've been at Project Pokemon for around 2 months. I've been a researcher for 4 months. And I have been PokeSplash's webmaster for 6. I'm ready to fit right into the community. So see ya around!
