were the bad eggs there before the corruption? maybe your save corrupted starting from a certain point (which visually would be starting from where you shown, box 25-26 ish), and messed up everything behind it. If you refer back to the image I shown earlier, the last 2 blocks in the save is BOX and JPEG, so maybe that's what happened. Well, you could just clear the boxes with PKHeX. In any case, just glad it all worked out :3 And in the future, always keep periodic save backups. If your cart is dying, it would be good to keep backups before it RIPs.

To be frank, I got no idea what happened to your save, that caused it to become unreadable. This is mostly your save, the only block I didn't copy over is the "JPEG" block. main I don't remember if your issue got addressed. In any case, that file is not a save. Just a bunch of garbage data. Hence why PKHeX won't read it. Maybe you extracted it wrong, or didn't save right, or it's a fake cart, etc.

Sorry for the double post, might be babbling to myself here but anyway here goes. Pic isn't much, but I've mapped out the protocol enough to consistently perform trades with BGB. i don't have a second functioning device yet to try out a internet trade, but i'm almost positive it would work. There's a lot of cleanup to do before it goes live, but it's really close. I'm writing up an extensive document on how the link protocol works for anyone who is interested in this in the future. edit: spent a bit of time on it after work today. after a few tweaks, i just completed my first trade over the internet between two real gameboys
