  1. Change the origin game to the game that it originates from. Then enter in the TID/SID you want the game to show. The Trainer ID is stored as a 32 bit value. The game does a bitshift for gen6 game-origin and prior. The game does a modulo for gen7 game-origin and up. The value-portion that is discarded is the Secret ID.

  2. This guide will require the use of a hacked 3DS. This only works for CIA/e-shop version (a.k.a digital copy) of the game. Does not work for the restoring save back into the cart versions (physical copy) of the games. This guide only applies if the save came from the same 3DS, and said 3DS has not been reformated since. The save also needs to be encrypted with the same encryption system that the 3DS uses. (This mostly affects any encrypted save back ups made before FW6, if I'm not mistaken. Probably a limited amount of people, like very early CFWers, would be impacted by this problem) Also, if your back ups are from Powersaves, this method will not work. Main steps 1. If there is no save in the digital copy of the game, create a new save on said game. (make sure you save in-game) 2. Replace the 00000001.sav in the correct folder. (I've blanked out 2 folder names. They comprise of an odd combination of alpha-numerals, and change from user to user. Your SD card will be assigned to new values for both folder, every time you reformat the 3DS) As for the folder name before data (and after 00040000), it depends on what game you're restoring back into: Game Name Game ID Pokémon X 00055D00 Pokémon Y 00055E00 Pokémon Omega Ruby 0011C400 Pokémon Alpha Sapphire 0011C500 Pokémon Sun 00164800 Pokémon Moon 00175E00 Pokémon Ultra Sun 001B5000 Pokémon Ultra Moon 001B5100 The example above is for Ultra Moon. 3. Now that you replaced the encrypted save, delete the secure value using the app called savedatafiler (we will not provide that.) Once again, what folder name you delete from, depends on the game ID. Make sure you're at the user tab, as seen on the bottom screen above. The digits above relates to the game ID, but they all lack the last 2 0s. Example, for Pokémon Y: 00055E00 -> 0055E Scroll down on the D-pad to make sure you hover (yellow highlight) the entry. Don't delete the secure value for CTR card (default hover). You gotta scroll down yo. 4. Check the game, see if the save loads. If the save isn't corrupted, you imported it into the correct folder, and deleted secure value correctly, no reason why it wouldn't load. 5. Use a save manager to back up the decrypted save. (Guide for Checkpoint or JKSM) Decrypted copies are honestly easier to restore. Keep one in your PC or cloud service. This method definitely works. (Look here) View full tutorial

  3. I think most fans who've played Stadium know that nicknamed Pokemon can have different colors. But why? How? After a lot of time and effort, I've worked it out - well, mostly! Since PKHeX was critical to my success, this seems like an appropriate place to share my results. My research was thorough and I made sure to explain things in a lot of detail, so the full write-up is in a Google Doc here. But if that's TL;DR (I get it, life is short and the internet is full of content) here's a summary: The ASCII values of a Pokemon's OT name and nickname are added together, along with the values for the two bytes of its TID. The last byte of the result in hex is what I call it's name value (NV). This is converted into a hue adjustment based on a Pokemon's specifically programmed hue range - an NV of 0 is its minimum hue, and FF is its maximum. It'd take a hacker (I'm not - can't program my way out of a paper bag) to get the exact formula, but I've worked out an approximation that gives results that are at least super-close. Like, closer than the human eye can probably distinguish. I put my formulas into this spreadsheet which can be downloaded or copied to your own Google Drive to find the hue of your own nicknamed Pokemon, but to make use of it you'll need to read at least some of the document. I've also worked out how Smeargle's DVs effects its colors and why shiny Pokemon can look so different in Stadium 2. It turns out almost all shiny textures are modified using the HSL (hue, saturation and lightness) colorspace, just like the nickname palettes (which only use hue). I wrote down each Pokemon's hue range for nicknames and the HSL values for its shiny in Stadium 2 here. I got these using jrra's patch to re-enable the debug menu in Stadium 2, which has all this info and more. Finally, I've taken screencaps of every Pokemon's minimum and maximum colors, plus some in-between if there's a big range. For fun, I also took a handful of art, sprites and models and altered them using GIMP's HSL editor to create Stadium-style nickname colors and shinies. My gallery of screencaps and modified art can be found here. I'm open to comments, questions, and any other feedback. Hopefully some of you will find this interesting, and if you like what I've done, I welcome you to pass it on to anybody else who might like it! I'm also totally cool with my research and pics being freely distributed and used to edit stuff like Wikis so long as credit is given when possible.

I (theSLAYER) personally don't recommend it, but I also know we can't stop people. File info: This is a game file for Ultra Moon, in which I injected the shiny form of every new Pokemon in gen 8, including Meltan and Melmetal. They are all shiny. I have separately put the non-shiny forms of the legendaries of this generation in Box 4, with the shiny forms (the only illegal Pokemon) of the legendaries in box 3 with the rest of the Pokemon. They seem illegal, however once they are transferred, they will work fine as I have used Batch Editor to change the version and locations of the Pokemons' origins. Above I have attached a picture of what it looks like in the editor in Ultra Moon compared to how it looks in Sword and Shield. All the Pokemon will be legal to use online except for shiny Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus, and can be transferred to sword and shield by putting this save file onto Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon, then putting them all into Pokemon Bank, and then transferring them to Pokemon HOME. At that point, they can be put into Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield and used online. They will not appear to be the Pokemon they are listed as until they reach HOME, where the data can be recognized. What This Has: All Pokemon between #808 and #890, shiny, and copies of Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus non-shiny All of the above Pokemon in National Pokedex order All of the above Pokemon with 6 Perfect IVs Due to the Form Argument being difficult to manage in batch editor, I put in Shiny Galarian Yamask instead of Runerigus. If anyone can help to make a .pk7 file for Runerigus, it would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment on this post. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. NOTE: The shiny forms of Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus are located in box 3, and you may have some difficulty transporting them from your game to Bank, and Bank to HOME, as they are shiny Galar legendaries and therefore illegal, I apologize if that is the case. If you want me to add any Galarian Pokemon, just ask. I will likely update this file once the DLC is released in June, and then again in Fall of 2020 for both the Isle of Armor DLC and the Crowned Tundra DLC. After Testing, I have decided to announce two things: The Pokebank blank screen error occurs while disconnecting, not saving, so it's safe to save, and then directly try to import to home after restarting. You MUST rename the file 'main' before importing it or it will not work In the Batch Editor, with whatever Pokemon you choose to use, type in these commands(in place of X but the box number) =Box=X .PID=$rand .PID=$shiny .SID=$rand .EncryptionConstant=$rand If you doubt it worked, open a sword and shield window in PKHeX and drag it over, and press View then Set on the pokemon, if there is no illegal symbol, you were successful. I just got back from a short break from PKHeX and Project Pokemon.   5. Not sure why you're going by the TID(legacy) and SID(legacy), when most peoples are concerned about whether the TID7 fits. (normally they'll want the SWSH one displayed to be the one they use), but in this case it doesn't matter if it's 0 :3

  6. TID(legacy) and SID(legacy) isn't the same as TID7 and SID7. SID7 is the first four digits unused by TID7. Maybe in reference to the post, this would make sense. As for why your SID7 is a value of 7.. It's because the TID(legacy) and SID(legacy) pair you inputted generated SID7 as 0. Nothing special.

Just drag the pcdata.bin onto a save of that file's generation. Last Word: Despite these Pokemon being legal, I still need to say this: ProjectPokemon.org is not liable, if you somehow managed to get yourself banned with these Pokemon. Also, don't be stupid or don't do stupid things. I can't possibly give every directive or comment on every possibility. Be reasonable, alright :3
