  1. GitHub Source Code Download Latest Release About This tool aims to make past Mystery Gift event contents back again in all the Pokémon games for Nintendo Switch. Since those games won't allow event injection in the SAV file, this tool creates a forged BCAT package, injectable with homebrews like JKSV. This allows wondercards to be redeemed through the In-Game Mystery Gift Menu. The use of this tool does not involve hacking the game ROM nor hacking the game SAV. Video example: Compatible files Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee wondercard full files (.wb7full) Sword and Shield wondercard files (.wc8) Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl wondercard files (.wb8) Legends Arceus wondercard files (.wa8) Scarlet & Violet wondercard files (.wc9) BCAT wondercard files, either with mutiple or single wondercards (no file format extension) Compatible games Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee Pokémon Sword and Shield Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Pokémon Legends Arceus Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Disclosure Neither I nor the Project Pokémon staff takes any responsibility for possible adverse outcomes or bans due to the use of this tool. Use at your own discretion. N.B: Some BCAT files contain sensible console-specific informations, which you should keep safe. Don't share your BCAT to others! Usage Tutorial The following tutorial refers to the Windows Form app. The .CommandLine app is currently just a simple script that calls the .Core functions and can run on any popular OS. Its usage is similar to the Windows Form app and should be fairly intuitive. Ensure you have the required .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.x correctly installed Download the latest tool release from GitHub Dump your game's BCAT with JKSV and keep some copies somewhere safe Open the Switch Gift Data Manager tool and select your game of choice Import wondercard files of your choice (by drag & drop or by clicking the `Open Files` button) Eventually edit the wondercard id (WCID) if you have invalid WCs and click `Apply` Click the `Save as BCAT Package` button and select your dumped BCAT folder in the "Source BCAT Path" section. The path must lead to the folder containing the files "directories.meta", "etag.bin", "list.msgpack", "na_required", "passphrase.bin" [N.B: if your dumped BCAT only has the "passphrase.bin" file, it means it was not initialized properly. Connect in-game and use any Mystery Gift feature at least once to initialize the BCAT. Downloading Wild Area News or Poké Portal News works too] Click the "Save" button A folder called "Forged_BCAT_{Game}" should appear next to your dumped BCAT (or in whatever path you selected in "Destination BCAT Path") Restore the forged BCAT with JKSV To redeem the old fashion events, open your game -> Menu -> Mystery Gift -> redeem via Internet When you're done, restore your original BCAT package with JKSV (not doing so may cause sync issues) N.B: BCAT Sync usually occurs between 12:00 AM (UTC) and 01:00 AM (UTC) if there is new BCAT content in the servers. I suggest to not follow this procedure during that timeframe to avoid a desync. If you experience a desync, follow one of these methods to resync: Open JKSV, select BCAT, hover over your game and press X to open the menu, then click `Reset Save Data`. Download the latest BCAT for your game from citrusbolt's website and add the missing files to your dumped BCAT, then restore it with JKSV. 2. Someone has/had a YOSHIRA Pikachu from Nintendo Power. This is just pure speculation, but look how the IVs match with the distribution Mew. An example from a Pikachu raised from LV 5 to LV 24, with Mew IVs, the stats result are very close to the original photo, just by a few points of difference: I suppose this Pikachu was made with the same Special/Mew Distribution Machine, they just changed the Pokémon, nicknamed it to PIKCHU and give them the moveset.

  3. Hello, first post, I just signed up to share this actually. I have a Pokemon Blue since I was a kid and the save still holds. I managed to dump it, so here's the deal. I am from Greece and my save contains a Mew inside it which I know for a fact that it came from a sharing event that was taking place at local toy stores at that time. I have no tangible proof for this, other than my word, but I can guarantee that the save is not tampered with (it's my original cart save, no 2nd hand purchase) and I know the kid that traded it to me had taken it from the event the days prior, because my parents would not take me there myself. Moveset is like this because I had given it to a kid with Silver in order to teach it the moves, since I only had Blue myself. Blizzard, thunder, fireblast was all the rage at my elementary school's meta Sharing it in any case, this is a piece of data straight from 1999-2000 OT: GREECE TID: 21587 151 - MEW - 3268.pk1 Fun fact: When I started playing the game, I was a dumb kid and did not know that you had to save the game in order to keep your progress; the only games I had played until then were super mario and kirby. So, after playing for hours the 1st day I got the game, having just beaten Misty, when for whatever reason I had to stop playing (probably was told to, hahah) I just turned the GB off. When I turned it on again and realised it had started from the beginning, I gave it to my sister to ask her why (since she was 4 years older and knew (better) english), and it's at that time that she started playing the game as well, and named the character MOUSA (Greek for "muse") and that's how the player name came to be. I have no idea what I had named the character during those first few hours. EDIT: The cart in question, I had put so much time on this as a kid, 200 hours, I think it shows

  4. I recently purchased a Pokemon Yellow cartridge with the original battery still holding a save. The save has what appears to be a LINKE Mew in the party (though it's not untouched). Seller says it was from a Pokemon Stadium Tour back in the day, which seemingly jives with the LINKW Mews info here as well as some old Azure Heights forum posts I found. I've just dumped the save and am attaching it here. Is there any way to verify if it's an authentic Mew? POKEMON YELLOW_2021.10.12-13.24.38 LINKE MEW - Copy.sav

  5. (First post, apologies if I'm doing something wrong) I picked up a JP Pokémon Blue back in 2006 in the basement of a Mandarake, but it already had a save on it so I kind of just kept it for the collection. Flash forward to today, I'm doing a Gen 1 JP replay so I decided to figure out if it was worth overwriting the save. Seems not - it has a Spaceworld '97 Mew (OT ドンキー, TID 24640) in the party! Can anyone verify the legitimacy of this Mew? I can provide the full .sav if needed. (There are 4 more with the same TID and IVs in the boxes, so I think the original owner cloned it with a glitch. The upshot of this, though, is that they kept one of them pristine at level 5 with no EVs.) 151 - ミュウ - B6BE.pk1

  6. Hi, I just managed to dump my save with submodule's gb01 cartridge reader. It contains my childhood Mew. I'd gotten 2 Mews for my Blue and Yellow German Versions in Bremen, Germany in 2000 or so (whenever that was) It was the official distibution event with the mew machines etc. Unfortunately I transferred my Blue Version Mew to my silver one, which died a while ago . However the yellow one lasted, and I transferred the Mew to a battery swapped Blue version and finally to Stadium 2 while waiting for the cartridge reader. It arrived today, and here's the save. It's OT is HAMBURG ID: 00230 Unfortunately it's Level is 100 for I used it as a kid in my team. Pokémon Gelbe Edition Special Pikachu Edition Mew.sav

  7. Here's a Yoshira Mew provided by @gwizofthestars (Website, Twitter, Instagram) from a registered team in Pokemon Stadium. gwiz was a winner of the Mew for the Millennium Nintendo Power contest. It seems this Mew was traded to Gen 2 at some point since it has a TwistedSpoon as its held item, and it is also at level 100. 151 - MEW - 4DBE.pk1

  8. I come with a sad tale and a hope to get some help recovering a lost friend. My very first Pokemon BLAZE the Blaziken (I didn't know he'd become a Blaziken when he evolved, it was insane I started screaming when that was the Pokemon he turned into that he knew to do it. I was also 8 so give me a pass) was on my Ultra Sun 3DS game. This game cartridge through a series of mishaps involving cats, an elderly grandmother (who got the original Sapphire game for me), and a hyperfixating cleaning day ended up in a trash bag that is now lost to the dump. I lost my boy. It's been hard to enjoy Pokemon without him and with Scarlet/Violet coming out, it rekindled how much I miss him. I know Blaziken is restricted over to SWSH right now not SV, which is fine, I have that too and the DLC so can bring him back home to me where he belongs. I miss him. I would try to do this myself but I'm so afraid of screwing it up.
