  • USUM: New Pokémon move revealed & Zeraora Battle Video

    The Official Pokémon Japan website has revealed a new move that presently can only be used by Zeraora: Plasma Fists.
    As revealed last year by dataminers:
    The user attacks with electrically charged fists. This move changes Normal-type moves to Electric-type moves.


    Alongside the reveal, a battle code was given out to players, allowing players to witness Zeraora in action.
    With the code, players can choose to watch a pre-recorded battle video, OR have a mock battle against Zeraora!

    Hackers immediately took the chance to dump the battle video and extracted the Zeraora used in the battle.
    All the Pokémon used in the battle has been uploaded to our Unreleased Gallery!

    Until the official event release, have fun battling against Zeraora!

    The one from the battle video is available in our prototypes and unreleased section. Otherwise you have to wait for July 13th.

    • Dump your game's extdata with either Checkpoint or JKSV
      • Checkpoint's extdata is in: \3ds\Checkpoint\extdata\<your game>
      • JKSV's extdata is in: \JKSV\ExtData\<your game>
    • In your game's extdata you have will find a user folder and in it there is the btvideo folder
    • Put the Zeraora battle video file into that folder and keep it named 000
      • If you already have some battle videos stored, choose a free number and rename the Zeraora video file

      Since they released over a decade ago, the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games for the Nintendo DS have not had much in the way of ROM editors. Over the past few years, hackers have slowly learned more and more about the inner workings of the games, culminating in the most advanced PMD editor to date: Sky Temple. 

      SkyTemple is a user-friendly level editor for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky that gives the user full control over graphics, scripts, Pokémon data, and more, enabling a great amount of creative freedom to prospective ROM hackers to create not just edits of the game, but entirely new levels and plots.
