If you want to play HG/SS, I believe M3i Zero would be the only one that can bypass the anti-piracy.

There's another flashcart that can bypass the anti-piracy, wich is CycloDS, but I believe it's not compatible with the DSi (Unless they released a firmware update or something that makes it work.)

I don't think a firmware update would fix the Cyclo's compatibility with the DSi. I believe it's an hardware issue.

The answer to your question is slightly complicated. Well what are you looking for in a Flash Cart? Cheap and does the job, well the Acekard 2i is perfect. Need something that will run on the DSi? i guess the Acekard or M3i Zero.

Acekard 2i because as well as its ease of use and backward compatability, the GUI looks nice and can be easily themed (DIY or download a premade one!)...

That and good folder options coupled with nice, tiny features like ROM trimming and booting back up in your last visited folder make it really nice...

That's technically false. MoonShell 2 was based on the M3 Sakura firmware, not the other way around.

But like pretty much everyone else has said, get an Acekard 2i.

So are most other DSi flashcards, including the SuperCard ONEi and M3i Zero.

I personally recommend M3i Zero as it has more features than Acekard 2i. SuperCard ONEi is pretty good too, but it's really slow.

M3i Zero and Acekard2i have pretty much the same features. M3i Zero has some more extra features but the Ak2i has more compability with homebrew and great community support. Imo, I would go with Acekard 2i since they're cheap and they work brilliantly...

But keep in mind the AceKard is known for it's connection problems with the DS' Slot-1.

Paper Trick seems to usually work perfectly.

(Though my friend never had any contact issues with his AK2.1)

I think r4i gold 3ds is the best flashcart for dsi or 3DS.

Its wood kernel keeps updating. Its game compatibility is also great!
