Holla! Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 (edited) According to a tweet by SciresM, a Serial Code event for these 2 new events were uploaded online. And apparently 1 code gives out 2 Wondercards when redeemed! UPDATE: It's a JPN code that is usable for both Sun or Moon giving out Solrock and Lunatone respectively, so you can activate an event at Haina Desert after becoming Champion with said Pokemon in your party to get a Sun/Moon Stone. The password is OYAJI30YEARS and is redeemable from July 26 - October 31! Related to the whole "Mystery Files" event. TID indicates it'll be distributed July 26! Edited July 26, 2017 by Holla! 1
theSLAYER Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Apparently, as a new twist, both Wonder cards are in the same file, tho games won't be able to get both, as it has a bitflag, that determines what Sun can receive, and what Moon can receive. jasenyoface Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 This event reminds me of that man in the Haina Desert. 1
Sabresite Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Yeah it was very interesting and broke our scrapers. As we found out recently, they can bundle up to 20WCs. I added both of them to the github gallery. I smell a mystery tool server scrape update 1
Holla! Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 (edited) @theSLAYER So they're version exclusive afterall? 5 minutes ago, jasenyoface said: This event reminds me of that man in the Haina Desert. Pedoman? Edited July 25, 2017 by Holla!

Bitflag for Solrock tagged it to Sun, and Bitflag for Lunatone tagged it to Moon. @Sabresite it's interesting that they did it like this, since previous event that was split to Sun/Moon (Corocoro Enhancement gifts) were held separately by the server, as per prev gens.@Holla! it ain't pedoman, it's this guy 1
Sabresite Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 They might have been debating doing it locally. 1
Holla! Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 I guess this event is for kids/newcomers who don't have access to past gen games. Wouldn't be surprised if they got announced for outside of Japan.
theSLAYER Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Or maybe they aren't aware of the old man in the desert. given that the present daisuki theme is about "mysteries", there could very well in some form of lore and imagery depicting "a man spiriting himself away", and then provide a common code for players to "find out if the reporting is accurate" XD if anything, the man just randomly beaming himself up, without any context, is a mystery in itself, so this may be the context we've been lacking.
Holla! Posted July 26, 2017 Author Posted July 26, 2017 "Sakuji" and "Oyaji"... what are they referencing?
theSLAYER Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Oyaji typically means Old Man or Father.Sakuji seems to be a name. 1
Holla! Posted July 26, 2017 Author Posted July 26, 2017 Well that explains it! It's likely the man's name, and the code seems to say that he's been lost for 30 years. 1

Wanderer1391 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 (edited) Sakuji is this guy: "Ruin Maniac Sakuji He loves the history involved in ruins, and studies ancient ruins and cave paintings from around the world. He believes that the secrets of these ancient ruins are tied Pokemon. He is especially interested in the Unown writings." An anonymous poster was nice enough to translate the information released back on the 19th from Japanese to English which I copied over to this pastebin if anyone is interested: https://pastebin.com/068rS9yt This picture of Sakuji was the biggest I could find unfortunately but it should be good enough. I've had a hard time trying to translate that text, I'm not that good at japanese xD
