when i load a save file nothing happens... the main windows displays "invalid file" at the bottom. help please.

It probably says that because your SAV file is not the correct size I guess.

I believe that it currently reads SAV files of the size of 512 kb.

To solve this problem,

Set the ini file to NO$GBA (no$gba.ini)

Change

SAV/SNA File Format == Uncompressed to

SAV/SNA File Format == Raw

Than load the file with NO$GBA,

Save,

Than use that sav file which you saved over in NO$GBA.

The solution was actually on the previous pages.

(I think page 3)

-->

3) Load up that Ripped save file with no$gba (make sure the .ini line that says save type has been changed from Uncompress to RAW)

4) Once the game is loaded save your game twice again and exit no$gba (this should fix the file size and other random stuff)

5) Use the 'new' save made by no$gba and load it up to PPSE

Your save is fine your no$gba.ini is set to save as Compressed I think when it should be Raw.

This is the line you should look for in your no$gba.ini

SAV/SNA File Format == Uncompressed

and replace it with

SAV/SNA File Format == Raw

This is how my complete no$gba.ini looks like for those that want to copy/paste over theirs.

ANYWAYY

I'll like to report a problem:

Plates Attached to Arceus and its Sprites Don't Tally.

(for example when attached dread plate (dark type), it has no sprite,

and when attached draco plate (dragon type), it is the dark type sprite.)

if you want to edit pokedex, click on pokedex

if you want to edit pc boxes, click on pokemon

when you're done, click save

GLITCH REPORT: This Isn't a huge glitch, but on the box editor, any eggs turn into Level 1 Pokemon. If anyone can fix that for the next version that would be great!:biggrin:

I don't think they actually turn into Eggs, the program just doesn't read the IsEgg flag, so the Egg Sprite isn't shown. I assure you, they are still Eggs, even if PPSE doesn't fully show it.

That will be fixed for the next release.

I'm having trouble opening PPSE on my Mac (yes, I downloaded Satoshi X's). Everytime I try to start it, I get a message saying "this was downloaded from the Internet, are you sure you want to open it?" When I click open, it then says that PPSE quit unexpectedly. I can't figure out what is wrong. Any Ideas?

I have Pokesav saved on my Flash Drive, but as I only have access to my Mac Laptop at this time, thats pointless unless I download crossover, which I don't want to do. THis would be a great alternative, since the ARDS output is my personal forte.

So again I ask, anyone know whats going on?

OMG! After I changed the positions of my team Pokémon with PPSE, they all have only 50 HP, and 57, an 48...

Help!

I thought I fixed this....or maybe I just didn't release a fixed version. Anyway, it's not a very serous bug. Depositing/Withdrawing the Pokemon from the box will reset the stats.

You should have used Codemonkey 85's PKMDS Box MK II if you are just going to move around your party/boxes.

If he had done that, I wouldn't have noticed this problem.

i dont get ppse can u tell me how it works plz and how to use it

Currently how it works.

It is similar to pokesav (as it is trying to replace pokesav)

And definitely more user friendly.

You can upload your .sav file

Than There are two buttons u can press, Pokedex or Pokemon (i think).

Basically Pokedex is to edit the entries of what you haven't seen or haven't captured.

So you can complete your pokedex this way, or you can uncomplete it.

Under Pokemon,

You can look at your party and the box and rearrange.

The number one current reason why it is better than pokesav is that

You can see the icons of the pokemon of you are shifting around,

Rather than staring at the names.

You can also drag the pokemon to your desktop; it will be a .pkm file.

You can also open another sav under another opened PPSE

and drag across the pokemon to the other sav file (though the one u dragged will also remain in original sav you dragged across)

At the end of all changes made, save the .sav

The program is still under major construction and waiting for more updates.

It is rather simple to use, so just play around with it.

GUI Bug:

On the main form (I didn't look on the others), the form is resizable, but the MIN/MAX size of the form are the same, resulting in the form not being resizable with the GUI (and cursor) appearing as if it is. Instead, try changing the Form Border Style to Fixed Single, or Fixed Dialog (If done in Visual Studio, I'm not sure if it is that easy in Qt.).
