No I meant like if I was able to somehow import the desmume application itself onto my acekard 2i because I saw a folder that is called emulator. And to somehow integrate the desmume application onto it and play the v5 patch through that

Why would you want to do that !?

Emulating a DS on a DS is just plain nuts.

Presumably that emulator folder is for things like SNES and other things like that. (maybe gba, dont know about about acekard2).

I've fixed some of the overflow issues with the pokedex... but have no idea how to use git properly.

I've forked the main git, pushed my changes to my fork...(i think)... now what to do ?

Here is the changelog for people of what to finish fixing the pokedex.

44.txt for the profs speech, and 235.txt for pokedex.

I'm looking at the Battle Video stuff right now even though it seems to hate my router, as for the spikey eared pichu i thought I had fixed that a while back it must've been reverted back with one of the merges without realizing it but i'll fix it again.

Awesome stuff. Do you happen to know what was causing the problem? Cause I noticed "Video No.:" has been shortened to just "No.:".

I will be playing up to Hiun later today and will report any text errors.

it was the formatting, I just took out the 'Video' out cause it seemed redundant to me since you *know* you are looking at a video so why have it there again (I would've fixed this a while ago but this was actually my first time looking at anything in wifi lol) but it seems to work well so I moved on to these said Battle Subway problems with some changes I made, what is the highest people have gotten to? I'm at the 12th carriage/battle right now

it always works on an ak2i, that's what i use... anyways so the kindergartner kept on crashing people right? i'm still trying to test them all but there is a total of 300 possible trainers in the subway... but so far i've run into a couple of bikers/waiters/baker/kindergartners and haven't crashed. Any other trainers that you guys have had crash it for you? that you can remember of course

I was using the original Pokemon White version, the only patch it had was the Exp. Patch but when I played V4, I went to the Pokemon Party Menu, and the names were still in Japanese text... I put the sav. file somewhere on my computer and started a new game with V5, which has English text for the Pokemon names, will the japanese text stay on my previous save file, no matter what English Patch I use? Because on V4, I caught some blue Bug Pokemon and its name was in English.lol

Any pokemon caught prior to a patch retain their names since that's in the save file, anything caught after that will have english names if that's the patch you used.

Kaarosu, are you using the black version or white version when you are running the battle subway? And are you using desmume? I'm just curious since I still keep crashing on the battle subway and I just wanted to emulate your setup. Maybe that'll cause all of my troubles to go away.

I'm using: pokemon black --> patched with rudolph --> patched with translation v3

emulator --> desmume on windows 7

Ah haha my bad I seemed to have failed to mention that I made changes on what I thought were causing the problems (Subway Trainer names -Main git File 0014.txt) and I'm testing them and it seems to be working so far (there is 300 trainers that are selected at random so testing as much as possible) I'll include it for the next patch though and hopefully it'll be fixed by then

so u can play the v5 on ur ak2i? What i did was patch with rudolph v4 -> official v5 new logo blk. i can play the v4 new logo of blk and white though

They had this problem with No$gba, but they found a action replay that would fix this. I got a usercheat DAT file for my R4i Gold, which is basically the cheat database which holds in all the codes for the R4i Gold. Since I am playing Pokemon White on my R4i Gold, I don't know if this code works but this code was included, and it said Save Fix + No$gba, so I assume it probably works.

EDIT: I tried the code for Pokemon White and I was able to save on No$gba.

Whenever you patch a game it is best you use a clean game not a patched one. And it won't work for you just because of the changes I made a couple of hours ago so you won't see them until v6(I'm still testing them on my own before updating the gits)

I'm sorry if I just totally missed this if it's been talked about already but, once I applied v5 to a clean dump and put it back on my acekard2i and I went to load the game, it just sat there with a white screen and nothing happened. Is that just something wrong with the patch or did I do something wrong?
