TyRaNtM Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 (edited) I was able to have the English Patch V3 (with Katakana names) into White rom WITHOUT MODIFING GAME ID! I just replace a/0/0/2 of a patched one to a not patched with NitroExplorer, and i able to run the game translated without doing nothing to DSTT. Kaarosu, in your patch releases, just replace that file and make a patch, will work in ALL flashcards without issue (only having a fix of the unpatched Black/White). And on my Black almost the whole menu (and pokemon names and attacks) are translated to English. But on White they aren't. So it is me? Or I'm I doing somethin wrong here? ^^

Before when I applied the second patch i was using the same rom that I applied with the first patch and it worked. I assumed it would work again if i just applied the 3rd to it just like that /)_-

If it fails, it says "...lost its focus and won't listen!" I'm using the black patch with exp and japanese pokemon names (katakana?) that is all I found for now. thanks for this awesome patch.

I know where the Name Rater is, but will it recognize me naming it something? Can't put the full names in the English the game offers cuz it only gives us 5 spots for characters.
