  1. I only used pokegen to edit it (various versions, but only pokegen). If my save file's useless, sorry.
  2. I hope this helps. Some pokemon have its formes recorded in the dex. Shaymin and Deoxys are two of them. 200+ pokemon seen, 100 caught. b-pokemonb.sav
  3. I believe you need to go to the 2nd gym town and meet up with the others near the gym. After that I believe that you need to do something in the desert. Then I believe that the bridge opens.
  4. I can confirm this. I used pokegen 3.0b15 to create a "pokeshifted" empoleon from a japanese heartgold that had the moves ice punch, waterfall, earthquake and swords dance. if the pokemon had ice punch on it, it would be rejected, thus being unable to battle. if I remove ice punch, which is a Pt/HG/SS move tutor move, and replace it by shadow claw, which is a 5th gen TM move, it's accepted and it can battle. It seems that 4th gen move tutor moves are not allowed in random wi-fi. I include my 2 empoleons that I used for testing. They are 136-byte files, saved with pokegen. empoleon-not-allowed.pkm empoleon-allowed.pkm
  5. This problem seems to be quite random, but it generally happens after a lot of tries. I'm on a Windows 7 x64 machine. Sometimes it happens after about 10 tries, sometimes it doesn't happen at all. I just know it does. I'll try to capture it on video if the program does that again. So far today it happened 3 times. Also, regarding an issue similar to this, sometimes when you drag pokemon to reorganize them, they vanish while being dragged (no cursor and no pokemon until you release the mouse button)
  6. Some more things I've found out while using 3.0b12: -If the target game is set to black/white, the experience/level of the Pokemon doesn't match. for example, the default level I've found to be put every time I create a new pokemon (or reset controls from the tools menu), the level is set to 100 but the experience is 0. The game treats the pokemon as lv. 1. ("sub-issue" from the previous)-If you import a Pokemon from an older game, (through the method you told me, which is set the game to hgss, import and then change to bw), the experience is set to be 1 lv higher than the lv the pokemon was (if it's lv. 100, it loops to lv. 1). for example, a lv 5 jirach,i imported with hgss set as the game, has 156 exp and lv 5. However, once I change the target game to B/W, it bumps up to 270, but the program still says it's lv. 5, and the game takes the pokemon as being at lv, 6. This can be easily rectified by rewriting the desired level of the pokemon (for both cases). -Sometimes the program doesn't let you choose the nature of a pokemon, even if you erase its pid or reset controls (from the tools menu). The program needs to be closed first then reopened to workaround this problem. ---(edit: possibly handy info regarding the previous issue). This seems to happen if you load a pokemon from a file into pokegen and then change the pokemon. The nature is grayed out, even if you erase the pid or even try to change it) -If the right click menu (for setting pokemon in the boxes/party) is repeatedly used, sometimes it will stop working (that is, not appearing). The only workaround is to close and reopen the program. -In a reply to my previous post regarding the PID Finder not setting the IVs, nature, shininess etc, saying that I had to select the one I wanted, then click ok, it still doesn't work. Maybe it's me doing something wrong? (It worked in past versions with that method, that's why I came back with this question) That is all for now. I'll keep reporting any issues I find while using the program. I apologize if there are any typos in my posts.
  7. This seems to be a problem with only the non "Katakana" (japanese names) patches. The non katakana ones don't load in Desmume 0.9.6 x86/x64 but the katakana ones do.
  8. Some (I believe) bugs regarding 3.0b12: -When importing a .pkm file from a 4th Generation game, the nature is reset to Hardy, the character map is also broken (it was reported in a previous bug); -Sometimes, when I set a 5th generation pokemon that was set to be hatched from an egg, and then if I reload its data, it's broken (the game displays the correct info though); Some feature requests for the future: -When the user clicks OK to set the found PID from the PID finder, the IVs, nature and such should be set automatically in the remaining editing screens (it's not at this moment); -There should be an option to set Either "Ability 1" or "Ability 2" in one of the editing screens (Unless the program does it automatically for you, I don't know if it does, except in the PID finder) -The "TAB" key in the Stat section Should make the cursor cycle through the IVs first, then through the EVs and then through the stats (at the moment, it cycles through IVs then EVs then stats for the same stat category); -In the OT/Misc, there should be a button that would insert the ID, SID and OT from the save file into the boxes; -(I know this one is asking a lot) Translate the items and locations from Romaji for better ease of use. That is all I can report. Thanks for taking your time to develop this amazing utility.
  9. Little typos I found: -Focus punch, when it sets up, the characters are in japanese. If it fails, it says "...lost its focus and won't listen!" I'm using the black patch with exp and japanese pokemon names (katakana?) that is all I found for now. thanks for this awesome patch.
