Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Fortune
Rivori replied to WindchildWhimsy's topic in ROM - NDS ROM Hacks
Not sure if this means much, but I just wanted to comment how much I love this hack. It really understands what makes Sky so great, and adds so much great content that makes it even better. I’m really looking forward to the next update -

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Fortune
hushy replied to WindchildWhimsy's topic in ROM - NDS ROM Hacks
uh.. no. theres just about one condition you can add thatprohibits a certain mon' from spawning naturally and thats ss encounters, anything else and you'd have to script it in or reverse engineer the game The odds are sucky, so, You can bring lanturn and purposefully have lanturn get hit (make sure to use stockpile beforehand so lanturn doesn't faint near instantly and spam recover whenever lanturn's low) to get more mons to spawn on the floor forcefully, do so until you hit the max amount of mons allowed on the floor (its about 15 or 20 i thinks)- that's what i usually do the moment i get my grubby paws ahold of chinchou or lanturn in miracle sea, then just do that for a few floors and you'll eventually get the mon you want. oooor you can do the setup i learned from shadowphoniexdx stream (which ill let saltedneos explain in this video: https://youtu.be/xhIu70rTD-w) minus the perish song part if you want -
Gen III Master Codes & DMA-Disablers (all languages)
wondercardsp replied to BlackShark's topic in RAM - GBA Cheats
Hello, I've just created a new account on the forums just to ask you about the spanish codes. I've tried the Ruby master cheat on both revisions for the spanish games, the non Rev 1 and the Rev 1 ROMs, but everytime I launch the cheat on my AR MAX DUO, I get a buzzing sound with a white screen as if the console failed and crashed with the cheats on. Are any other codes, like DMA or something, needed too? I've tried both a real Ruby spanish cart and an EZ FLASH OMEGA DE, with the games written to the NOR Flash memory, so they act like legit carts too. Edit: I got some cheats working on the spanish EMERALD version using an US master cheat code - you may want to add it to your post as an alternative A2A4317B 9817FF81 093ECE84 CE99DAF5 9045E027 05EA1143 A6A74710 82BD7E29 -
[Colosseum/XD] Viewing Pokémon that haven’t been snagged yet?
thatcactusgirl replied to thatcactusgirl's topic in PKHeX
Update as I promised! I was able to catch a Dunsparce in a luxury ball with the PID FC1E0314, which should evolve into a 3-segment when it's transferred up! (Only took 178 resets :') and a multi-month break) The offsets are the same as the saves above, with the PID stored at 0x8554-0x855F in the strategy memo and at 0x1B0F0-0x1B0F3 in the (presumed) snag list. Best of luck to anyone else attempting something like this! -

I want to shiny hunt Rayquaza in bdsp so I need a save file right infront of rayquaza, would be appreciated if someone could share, I havent been able to find one so I thought this would be a good place to ask

Probably is because of a vblank that occurred between the RNG calls, which is statistically infeasible (but not mathematically impossible, I guess). The game generates your SID & TID via two successive RNG calls (SID first, then TID) via 2 rand calls back to back. The assumption is that there should always be a RNG state that can yield the SID & TID. If we assume there is a vblank, then only 1 seed can generate the SID & TID: 0xc69e5f27 I think the community consensus was to prefer to flag these vblank splits for SID & TID save files, because more often than not, it's because the 'mon was manually created, rather than a save file lucked upon. Thought I'd post this for your own records Kaphotics. Zizgagoon was caught in Ruby and traded to Emerald. It doesn't display this in Ruby/Sapphire, just Emerald. Trainer ID in that Ruby file is 01110 which was soft reset for. Emerald just doesn't like it for some reason. Not sure if it's on other traded in Pokemon but I can check if you need. All original hardware (DS capture cards, GBA SP, authentic copies of R/S/E)

noklyx replied to WindchildWhimsy's topic in ROM - NDS ROM Hacks
For Mewtwo, it's a quest that's given; he'll be on floor 35, and for Suicune, it's floor 15. -
When you change any type of currency in the trainer info, are you supposed to change anything else also? I tried giving my char more bp so I can stop doing the bbq's and when I upload back into the switch, my currency doesn't change. I know I'm uploading the right file. Also, im just changing the "main" file, not back-up, not sure if that matters.

Thanks WindChildWhimsy for the romhack. I quite enjoyed playing EoS again with this. I created a spreadsheet to keep track of all the legendaries/mythicals in the game. If anyone is interested, I attached the .csv file if anyone wants to use it or are looking for a specific. Are there any specific conditions to spawn Lunala/Sogaleo? I noticed their spawn rates are both 0.88% which is quite low, but its 0.88% for each floor. After going through Ultra Wilds 3 times I have yet to encounter them. Same applies for Type:Null. pmd-eof-legendaries.csv -

The previous release had fixed the program to not decrease values that were above 999. Shortly after release, a fix was added to allow more than 3 digits to be entered. https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/commit/91ac18dd34cfa6871c5cafa0024629ed1102a72c The next release will be made available in the next few days along with the new Box Search feature, but if you cannot wait you can always try the Development build:

Sword/Shield Wonder Card 101 Pikachu & Eevee
ICanSnake replied to hypercoyote's topic in Events Help and Questions
Do you mean the 191115 Birthday Pikachu and Eevee? I talked about it in this thread: Originally when the event first launched, the wondercard (version 1) generated a dynamic PID. Sometime around February 2020, the wondercard was changed to only have a static PID (version 2).- 1 reply

Known issue. Fixed in the upcoming version. Nah, you can still get one later that's literally base game stuff man lol https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Exclusive_item use xdeltaUI. plug in the clean rom, the patch, and designate what you want to call your patched rom (make sure the file name ends in .nds) -

Is there a way to import my .pkmn files? I have an organized folder from PKHEX of all the Pokemon that I've caught in my games, I thought that by moving them to ./storage they'd show up, but no luck. -

This is a screenshot; see how it says 31/30? One Pokémon per box goes into a "hidden" slot when sorting multiple boxes, at least in the vault itself; I have not tried on a save file.
