Hello, I have recently imported some Pokemon that I have caught in Let's Go Pikachu to PKHex and upon importing them I was greeted with the message "Invalid: Calculated CP does not match stored value", as if they weren't completely legal and legitimate (read: unaltered). I stumbled upon this thread from a few years ago: in which someone else seems to have had a similar problem and apparently, according to one of the replies (the one referencing another thread), there used to be a mismatch between the way the game itself calculates CP and the way PKHex does it, therefore no actual legality issue. However, there is a later reply in that respective second thread that announces a fix to that problem, so you can imagine my confusion when my unaltered Pokemon were flagged as illegal. Given all this, I tried to generate a number of new Pokemon that were flagged as completely legal by the program, sent them to the game, levelled them up once and then sent them back to PKHex, which once again brought up the same legality error. Should I worry, then, if I want to upload those newly generated Pokemon to Home?

GitHub Source Code Download Latest Release About This tool aims to make past Mystery Gift event contents back again in all the Pokémon games for Nintendo Switch. Since those games won't allow event injection in the SAV file, this tool creates a forged BCAT package, injectable with homebrews like JKSV. This allows wondercards to be redeemed through the In-Game Mystery Gift Menu. The use of this tool does not involve hacking the game ROM nor hacking the game SAV. Video example: Compatible files Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee wondercard full files (.wb7full) Sword and Shield wondercard files (.wc8) Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl wondercard files (.wb8) Legends Arceus wondercard files (.wa8) Scarlet & Violet wondercard files (.wc9) BCAT wondercard files, either with mutiple or single wondercards (no file format extension) Compatible games Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee Pokémon Sword and Shield Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Pokémon Legends Arceus Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Disclosure Neither I nor the Project Pokémon staff takes any responsibility for possible adverse outcomes or bans due to the use of this tool. Use at your own discretion. N.B: Some BCAT files contain sensible console-specific informations, which you should keep safe. Don't share your BCAT to others! Usage Tutorial The following tutorial refers to the Windows Form app. The .CommandLine app is currently just a simple script that calls the .Core functions and can run on any popular OS. Its usage is similar to the Windows Form app and should be fairly intuitive. Ensure you have the required .NET Desktop Runtime 7.0.x correctly installed Download the latest tool release from GitHub Dump your game's BCAT with JKSV and keep some copies somewhere safe Open the Switch Gift Data Manager tool and select your game of choice Import wondercard files of your choice (by drag & drop or by clicking the `Open Files` button) Eventually edit the wondercard id (WCID) if you have invalid WCs and click `Apply` Click the `Save as BCAT Package` button and select your dumped BCAT folder in the "Source BCAT Path" section. The path must lead to the folder containing the files "directories.meta", "etag.bin", "list.msgpack", "na_required", "passphrase.bin" [N.B: if your dumped BCAT only has the "passphrase.bin" file, it means it was not initialized properly. Connect in-game and use any Mystery Gift feature at least once to initialize the BCAT. Downloading Wild Area News or Poké Portal News works too] Click the "Save" button A folder called "Forged_BCAT_{Game}" should appear next to your dumped BCAT (or in whatever path you selected in "Destination BCAT Path") Restore the forged BCAT with JKSV To redeem the old fashion events, open your game -> Menu -> Mystery Gift -> redeem via Internet When you're done, restore your original BCAT package with JKSV (not doing so may cause sync issues) N.B: BCAT Sync usually occurs between 12:00 AM (UTC) and 01:00 AM (UTC) if there is new BCAT content in the servers. I suggest to not follow this procedure during that timeframe to avoid a desync. If you experience a desync, follow one of these methods to resync: Open JKSV, select BCAT, hover over your game and press X to open the menu, then click `Reset Save Data`. Download the latest BCAT for your game from my bcat_updates repo or from citrusbolt's website and add the missing files to your dumped BCAT, then restore it with JKSV. If you find any bug or you need support, please read carefully the FAQ section. Comment this post with your question if you still need help. I just received a secondhand Switch, so I decided to trade with myself in LGPE using both Switches. However, even after 10 minutes or so, no Switch can detect the other one via Local Trade (I don't have an account one the newest Switch while my main has no Nintendo Online subscription) In my Pikachu version, I'm at Rock Tunnel while in my Eevee version, I am straight after battling my rival outside Oak's Lab, so trading is enabled in both games. I just don't understand why... so I tested it at a friend's house who has CFW, edited his save file, same thing as an unedited one, even if both of my own switches are perfect clean. What could be the problem?

Hello, first of all I would like to clarify that this work is hard and takes me a long time to do it (for the 400 sprites that we have been doing on this page it has taken me about 250 hours or more), so if you are going to use my work on your website I do not care, just name me or put me in your page credits. pokemonshowdown.com and its sponsor smogon.com at the moment dont have permission to use these sprites and those I'll have in the future, due to the lack of appreciation (to reverse this situation they should talk to me) projectpokemon.org is an example of how my work is appreciated. Thanks to @theSLAYER and the entire admin team. In this thread I plan to make the nintendo switch sprites, I leave meltan and memeltan here. Sprites Pokemon Sword & Shield: Upcoming note: Pokemon showdown imported my files without my permission, so sw / sh sprites will have a limited time watermark https://mega.nz/#F!pltwhCTL!rtVqFhgBVluywFMHJAFHUg Pkparaiso is doing the 8th generation sprites so you can wait for them on this link. https://www.pkparaiso.com/espada_escudo/sprites_pokemon.php EDIT: https://mega.nz/folder/Vw10xS7Z#XxqMhKSg9rIGTuEDn0MzPg VERSION WITHOUT WATERMARK (INCOMPLETE)

I just want to share here this rare bug I have encountered while playing Let's Go Eevee. I had this Vaporeon from my Pokemon GO and had just migrated them to the GO Park. Having them added on my party in Fuchsia City, I went in to the Poke Center for my partner Eevee to check-out new moves and to my surprise the move tutor asked to train Vaporeon instead. At first I had no idea that the moves are exclusive but I was amazed that this happened. Unfortunately it won't train Jolteon and Flareon and cannot be done again. Here is a screenshot of it. I wonder if there are other players who experienced this bug. Mod edit: Standard disclaimer - this information is presently neither verified nor replicated, and should not be deemed as material fact.

The title is the bulk of the needed info. I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with it as the only thing I changed on it (SEVERAL PkHex versions ago) was making it shiny while I still had it in LGPE, and it was counted legal then (yes, I know this probably means it was always illegal, but I know shinies can be obtained from these trades?) At first I assumed it maybe had to do with me being on the previous version of PkHex, so I updated earlier tonight, but I'm still getting the same error.

Hello! this is my first post in this community. I've downloaded a hex editor in order to edit the initial savegame file for Let's Go Pikachu, following this guide: The thing is I've never done hex editing before. I wanted to modify the Pikachu's gender, since the savegame I got here made it female. In the past I modified it directly using PkHex after obtaining it, but I found out that the home screen will always display the female version no matter what with this method. Now I'm willing to learn some hex editing for various reason and I tried searching for the starter gender value (0x10B9). The problem is that it doesn't find any value with "x" in it. I think I'm missing some crucial data that doesn't allow me to understand the guide. Could someone please help me with this? You can even provide guides for me to read, if you don't want to write it out yourself.

This is a Go Park file (gp1) for a level 1 Melmetal, if you're into that sort of thing. Caught and evolved in Pokemon Go of course. It doesn't have the best IVs. Screenshots show the Meltan (before evolving) in PoGo and the Melmetal in PoGo before being transferred to Go Park. Calcy IV was used to display level and stats in PoGo. I have also included a level 1 Meltan .gp1 file with this post this is not the same Meltan that was evolved into this Melmetal, obviously. -

LGPE LGPE Editing how many times a PKM has been caught
NullTie posted a topic in Saves - Editing Help
While playing I noticed that LGPE keeps track of how many times you've caught a specific pokemon and have even read that by capturing it a certain amount of times, I think more than 50, makes it easier to catch that Pokemon. Is it possible to edit this number in PKHEX?
