It is not like we have seen Mars with water or anything... and besides, those ice caps are actually solidified carbon dioxide, which does not give any hints about water being there before...

Dragon Dance requires breeding... which no one really does while clearing in-game. Competitively, of course Feraligatr usurped Typhlosion as the best Johto starter, but for in game... yeah, Gator wins hands down. Water Gun is acquired at level 6 or 7 I believe, and it learns Ice Fang quite early as a Totodile, and becomes Feraligatr at level 30, earlier than the other two (although it becomes Croconaw at level 18, which is later than the other two). It also gets a plethora of physical attacks such as Crunch, Aqua Tail, Superpower and the HM Waterfall, and a Surfing Feraligatr is not a bad idea either. As for Typhlosion? Let's see... Ember, Flame Wheel, Flamethrower... way too many Fire moves and Fire that. And its Heart Scale secret move is... GYRO BALL?!! That runs off its PHYSICAL ATTACK AND Typhlosion has base 100 speed! Good luck using that if you want to. As for Thunderpunch? It runs off its physical attack now, so it is not very effective. Back then in GSC, Typhlosion was the best of the three... but even then, the Johto starters were not good news... But you know Namexx... I think people are choosing Pokemon for who their favorites are rather than for competitive battling. At least that is the major consensus. Yes, Chikorita is CLEARLY the worst, but I am picking Chikorita.

Returning from my hietas for a while... here is an actual three way poll of three well known Pokemon. I think I will know who will get the most votes >.> [hgsssprite]144[/hgsssprite] [shinysprite]144[/shinysprite] ARTICUNO ICE/FLYING HP: 90 Atk: 85 Def: 100 SpA: 95 SpDef: 125 Spe: 85 BST: 580 Advantages: - Is statistically the most defensive of the three birds - Ice is generally one of the better offensive typing, scoring a lot of damage on many things, especially when STABd - Learns Ice Shard, a priority Ice move (albeit physical) - Is the only Pokemon to learn the Mind Reader + Sheer Cold combo (aside from Smeargle) - Can outstall bulky waters easily - Is aesthetically the most pleasing of the three birds Disadvantages: - Is arguably the worst legendary Pokemon (not just bird, but of ALL legendary Pokemon) - 4x weak to Stealth Rocks, meaning it cannot even perform its duties as a wall properly - Ice typing gives it almost no key resistances to speak of while adding a plethora of common weaknesses, further diminishing its duties as a wall - Offensive stats are mediocre at best, not being able to use its typing at its best capabilities - Is usually avoided from using in competitive battling as it becomes a dead weight in one's team - Very small movepool: aside from Ice Beam, it really cannot do much else - Zapdos and Moltres does the walling job even better thanks to their typing - Even if it can outstall bulky waters, Zapdos can still fry them instantly, so Articuno is of little use - Unlike the other birds, it does NOT learn Heat Wave - Is countered by Heracross, Scizor, Gyarados, Rotom, Suicune, Blissey, Skarmory, Tyranitar, Infernape, Lucario, Metagross, Empoleon, Magmortar, Electivire, Raikou, Jolteon, Flareon, Charizard, Bibarel, Luvdisc, Caterpie, Articuno... that's right. The latter has already been done!) - Looks like a rubber chicken, although I actually do like Moltres's aesthetics So who is your favorite? Despite me making Articuno look like a really bad choice for battling (and it is), I chose Articuno. It has always been my favorite and always will be. I use it in battles and sometimes, it does work very well, but it does it rather slowly and something else could have done the job WAY faster and WAY better. I just hope Gamefreak does a better job with it later on... which they won't >.> Actually, I like Moltres too... very much. But I hate Zapdos VERY much.

Only one problem... I have no television and Google shows me nothing. In fact, it is the first time I am hearing about this. Mars does not seem to be capable of sustaining life anyhow, especially not in that biome. The link you provide me seems to discuss Earth's hydrothermal vent communities.

Not really. Salamence is actually the better of the two dragons. I am not talking about 1 on 1 battle... Garchomp would win that one, but I'd say Salamence is more useful overall. Chomp may be faster than those base 100 speeders (mence included) but I feel its options are a bit lacking... although Swords Dance + Outrage is just insane. That is not to say Salamence is problem free. It runs into MANY problems. It requires a Dragon Dance to sweep for the most part, can get revenge killed so easily from stuff like Ice Shard or Scizor Bullet Punch, residual damage screws it over (sandstream + stealth rocks + life orb = death), and sometimes it does not deal enough damage to KO. Garchomp can actually take hits and unlike Salamence, is not weak to Stealth Rocks and BENEFITS from the sand, making moves like Ice Beam 80% accurate (ARGH!). Salamence hitting on the special side though is a lot more appealing... especially mixsets which Salamence is a lot more capable of than the sand shark. EDIT: Actually, with Intimidate factored in, I think Salamence would win one on one against Garchomp.

Um memjee... this is the thread for In-Game teams... you can comment on them and do whatever you want here, as long as it is IN-GAME. They are pretty nice although moves like Focus Blast and Fire Blast I would avoid using in-game due to their low PP and low accuracy... and berries like Yache and Salac Berry are one time use only

Life on Mars? Highly doubtful about that. The soil there seems to be infested with toxic chemicals, which discourages that theory. There is also no atmosphere, no water on the surface... I wonder why people think it is habitable... And I've heard about that Andromedra Galaxy collision thing... but I wonder how they figure all this out...

No, Higgs Boson is actually a Boson in theory that is supposed to give mass to everything. It is dubbed the "God Particle" but it has not really been found yet. But I think this is slightly off topic And yeah, I believe Earth is the only inhabitable place in the universe. I have no idea what those silly NASA people were thinking when they decided to wage war on the moon.
