We had someone contribute the Korean Shiny Tapu Koko which was a local distribution, right? So hopefully those users can do it again.
-
Weren't people able to bypass it by using a new game's sync id on their banned one? I know people on GBATemp and reddit said that worked for them. But then you'd lose all your PGL data such as Golbal Missions etc. Haven't been playing the games as much now so I really dunno.
-
So did the people who registered for the competitions that used PKHeX get banned only or those who also only just registered their game sync id on the PGL that use PKHeX? I know I haven't done any of the competitions aside for Global Missions and am still intact on my main save. I'm also testing a new registered game save that I put all legal items and dex 'mons on to see if it holds on (Not registering it for the competition).

Judging from the fact that the current announced 20th movie events are given via a Serial Code, It seems to reinforce that Marshadow will be the local distribution at the Japanese movie theaters, and looking back at their history these local methods are usually Region-Free. I do wonder if it'd come with its Z-Crystal and if it would be flagged on non-Japanese PGLs then it would be really dumb and unfair to those that even traveled to Japan or live there that have other region 3DSes and copies. Just my thoughts on a hypothetical situation btw.

Confirmed to be Serial Code from the August 2017 CoroCoro and distribution is starting July 15! @theSLAYER Source: Serebii

Just a PSA: As the Original Series Cap Ash's Pikachu is out via serial code which is Region-Locked to Japanese consoles and copies, there is no way to get the Pikashunium Z-Crystal in other Region games such as US/EU as you can't trade it. It's totally fine to add the Pokemon itself to your save game via drag + drop the .wc7 onto the PKHeX editing controls and just edit the Pokemon's Country and 3DS Region to Japan (Thanks to this nifty guide by theSLAYER!) and make sure it isn't Shiny nor is the "Shiny Male" ticked under "Seen" in your Pokedex. I've updated my own Pokedex code I made to include it (as well as the recent Megas and stones) for those who can use hex editors. Sorry I just had to address this as the PGL can potentially ban anyone with Pikashunium Z in their inventory who isn't playing on the Japanese PGL. I know there are people who will still do it regardless, but I'm aiming this at the people who are concerned for their save data. tl;dr Don't add the .wc7 to your list of Wondercards in-game with PKHeX if you don't have a Japanese Region 3DS and copy. Alright, Happy Easter in advance to anyone who celebrates!

Wow! The amount of distributions this year, probably the most I've heard for a movie with 6 Ash hat Pikachu, Marshadow and now Ho-Oh. So 8 in total! Also, Ho-Oh being a distribution this gen means it has the + mark as well as being able to have a PokeDex entry language in Chinese!

I'm putting all my money on that Midnight Lycanroc being a GameStop/EB Games distribution. It also according to you guys has a TID of 051517 and since events so far from what I've seen have their TIDs the date of their initial release date, and this Pokemon's TID being coded like that makes sense since it's in the US it would use a date format of MMDDYY, the ones from Asia use YYMMDD since that's their format and I guess Europe would use DDMMYY.

What megastones and balls did you give yourself? -
Y'know it makes sense that it would be released for early 2018 in the west 'cause they also have to distribute the Ash's Pikachu variants, right? The thing that makes me curious is if there will be a new mainline game announced by E3 which Marshadow will have its own in-game event since Sun and Moon doesn't have any NPCs that acknowledge its existence.
-
I dunno man I just posted whatever serebii had so eagerly. Also posted the Pokemon.com page site which most likely will be updated to announce any details about its NA releases. I too predict a serial code in probably Fall for overseas since Volcanion was also done like that for just back in October.

UPDATE: It has been confirmed that Marshadow will be distributed in the US through Gamestop on October 9th through October 23rd and at select retailers in Europe on October 1st through November 14th. This Marshadow is Level 50 with the moves Spectral Thief, Close Combat, Force Palm and Shadow Ball and comes with the Marshadium Z. We'll bring more dates and locations as they come, but in the meantime our Event Database has been updated with details of this distribution Corocoro confirmed it will be distributed starting July 15 in Japan! So far no distribution method confirmed. Pokemon.com announcement: http://www.pokemon-sunmoon.com/en-us/pokemon/marshadow/ US Reveal Trailer: Movie 20 Trailer:

Your's, opponent's or both? -
I've found out that the stats labeled 175-187 are Global Mission stats and I advise not touching these or you might risk a PGL ban. So far I found the following: 175 - "Trade Pokémon at the GTS!" score 176 - Unknown/Unused PGM counter 177 - "Hatch a lot of Eggs!" score 178 - "Harvest Poké Beans!" score 179 - Unknown/Unused PGM counter 180 - "Find Pokémon using Island Scan!" score 181 - Unknown/Unused PGM counter 182 - "Defend your Champion title!" score 183 - "Fish Pokémon at rare spots!" score 184 - Unknown/Unused PGM counter 185 - "Try your luck!" score 186 - "Get BP at the Battle Tree!" score 187 - "Catch a lot of Pokémon!" score

Online Ban Wave Strikes Again – Almost 8,000 People Affected

Ok for real, the more suspicious edits I made to my save were modifying my TID+SID combination to match my previous 6-digit in-game one under the Trainer Info tab, made Pokemon such as Wonder Guard Xurkitree w/ Air Balloon in PKHaX that I only use offline namely Battle Royal and Battle Tree, giving myself x999 of legal items, 99999 FC, 9999 BP and I didn't get banned when I synced recently. I mainly think it's due to having unreleased Pokemon in the Dex and Items as well as modifying relevant player details used such as Player Name, Skin Tone, Gender or a G7TID other than the one you used to register with. As for the Global Missions, I think the scores are in their own separate tabs. If anyone wants to hack in an unreleased Pokemon in their game such as Marshadow or Shiny Zygarde to use offline or anything that abides by the sites policy then to avoid it being registered into your PokeDex by PKHeX just goto Options->Set to SAV->Untick "Modify Pokedex" I've made codes for legal data for those who know hex editing in my research thread as well as what Key Items (don't advise touching those) and Z-Crystals are legal until PKHeX can add legal payloads for items and the dex. -

So a ban wave reportedly took place in late January and now recently late March so I guess the next one will be late May judging from the 2 month pattern? Btw I just tried game syncing my main game to PGL which I haven't done so for the past month now only to find out I was banned. Guess I shouldn't have edited in x999 Beast Balls, Apricorn Balls and Mega Stones. Here's my error code: http://imgur.com/louMd7p -
Hi, just some quick reports. Gen I: Tentacruel that is under level 30 is deemed illegal when it can be caught at level 20 minimum: http://www.serebii.net/pokedex/location/073.shtml#y Secondly, an NPC trade Machamp at level 16 is deemed illegal if lower than level 20 when a Cubone can be caught at level 16 minimum talking VC standards: http://www.serebii.net/pokedex/location/104.shtml#y Gen VII: A Psyduck that knows Amnesia with the RGBY Origin Game is deemed illegal because PKHeX considers it an special event-only move in Gen I but it can learn it via Move Tutor or level 37 when transferred. Pokemon with an Origin Game of Sun and Moon are deemed legal when they have their notOT Memory as "[Pokemon] became [Trainer]’s friend when it arrived via Link Trade at... somewhere. The Pokémon remembers that it was happy", they should only be limited to "The Pokémon seems to have a good memory, but it doesn’t seem to be able to remember..." In Gen VII's PokeDex Mega Venusaur should have the options of Female and Shiny Female unlocked and Meowstic should only allow the options for its corresponding gender i.e Male for Male and Female for Female. Also as a request would it be possible to implement Spinda EC editing for its Dex entries please since it's already implemented into Gen VI? If the offsets are needed: Male Spinda: 32E8-32EB Female Spinda: 32EC-32EF Male Shiny Spinda: 32F0-32F3 Female Shiny Spinda: 32F4-32F7 Also a typo in the Event Flags tab: Tapu Koko is misspelled "Tapu Koku". Attached are the files and sorry if anything is already noted. Thanks! 073 - TENTACRUEL - 9DB5.pk1 068 - RICKY - 1DAF.pk1 054 - Psyduck - D159E14C94D8.pk7 Illegal memory example.pk7

So is this the first Gen VII Poke to be distributed via a serial code in Korean-region games? Bulbapedia doesn't seem to have its Korean serial code page up for Gen VII as i'm posting.

Wow like a 1,500+ increase...o_o I'm assuming that the people who were banned were also using stat modding NTR such cheats online, those people deserve to be banned if so. However, some people are reporting to have been banned even though they didn't use PKHeX or anything of the sort, they could be trolling or maybe it did happen, a counter argument is when PKHeX came out for SuMo people were reporting that the game freezes upon continuing, turns out that it was because they used PKHeX which at the time messed up player map coordinates and they didn't want to admit it. All i can say is don't change your IGN, skin tone, gender or ID (I changed my ID+SID combination to match my previous 6-digit TID and it's still working although I still don't recommended it). Use common sense, people.

Hey all! I thought I'd share something really cool and that is... Legal PokeDex and Bag inventory hex codes! That's right! I've been working on this on the side since the PGL banning took effect, and have been researching what is out and what isn't. If you know if something is released or not that I haven't included in the Dex or inventory, do post about it. If you haven't noticed, I've not included some past gen Pokemon: mainly Mythical Pokemon with Chinese entries as it's a newly added language this gen and those Pokemon would need to be released as an event. !USE THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK AS GAME FREAK AND NINTENDO MAY NOT UP TO DATE WITH WHAT IS RELEASED THEMSELVES! Pokemon Sun and Moon PokeDex legally complete (Start-Offset: 2A88 End-Offset: 32E7): Item Pouch all legal Items x900 (Start-Offset: 0 End-Offset: 6B7): Medicine Pouch all legal Medicines x900 (Start-Offset: B48 End-Offset: C47): Berry Pouch all legal Berries x900 (Start-Offset: C48 End-Offset: D67): Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon PokeDex legally complete (Start-Offset: 2C88 End-Offset: 34E7): Item Pouch all legal Items x900 (Start-Offset: 0 End-Offset: 53F): Medicine Pouch all legal Medicines x900 (Start-Offset: B74 End-Offset: C63): Berry Pouch all legal Berries x900 (Start-Offset: C64 End-Offset: D6F): Here are the legal Key Items and Z-Crystals lists on Bulbapedia: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Key_Items_in_Generation_VII http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Z-Crystal To break it down: What Key Items you can permanently have when post game Sun and Moon: DNA Splicers Enigmatic Card Exp. Z-Crystals unreleased for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon: -All known Z-Crystals can be obtained through in-game methods! Simple Instructions 1) First off download a hex editing tool, I recommend HxD as it's user friendly and advanced. You can download it by clicking here. Note: If you have a Mac, try running it in Wine or use Hex Fiend. (Won't be able to properly assist you if this is your setup.) 2) Open your save file (the main file) in the hex editor. 3) Press Ctrl+E. 4) Enter the following values for the Start-Offset and End-Offset listed for your desired option and press OK. (eg. Enter 2A88 for Start-Offset and 32E7 for End-Offset if you want the legal PokeDex for SM, or 2C88 for Start-Offset and 34E7 for End-Offset for the legal PokeDex in USUM,) 5) Highlight the entire block of values under the spoiler tag of your desired option and copy it. 6) Go back into the hex editor, Right-Click on the highlighted area and select Paste Write. 7) Save the file by going into File then hit Save or just press Ctrl+S. Open your save file you just hex edited in PKHeX and save it over the file you just created. (This will correct the checksum, which will allow you import your save that's been hex edited without any corruption.) 9) That's it! Just re-import your save back to your game with your 3DS save tool of choice and enjoy!

Another way is to search around the internet forums to see if anyone got it like GBATemp iirc had that Korean Shiny Diancie back in Gen 6.
