Zaneris and I, as well as other users have been eliminating methods that don't work. We haven't been successful yet, but there are still methods that we are able to implement. Hopefully we'll get closer over the next few days.

Hi, you guys are doing a great job. Im just having one problem with the union room. When i attempt to talk to the person it just says cancel and it kind of semi freezes. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks

Thankyou for giving us a reasonable timescale, I feel a lot better when I'm not in the dark. I've been following this patch for a while, but haven't touched it yet, as i'm a bit of a perfectionist and want it close to 100% as possible, Do you think that V4 or V5 will bring us a complete story translation?

Also what's up with the 98% item thing?

I wouldn't expect 100% story until the US release. If it's not essential to getting through the game, it won't be prioritized. (With the exception of PokeStar Studios)

for all of you people who saying you want a new patch as soon as possible or within few weeks and want it fully translated by then thats impossible.

in translation teams for professional translations who paid by companys like gamefreak,atlus,namco and so on takes them several months to translate. and they all work full days every day and payed.

seen as all these generous people are translating this for free it will most likely take them till august or September to fully translate it. most likely 80 percent but mostly english. i know you dont wanna hear this but stop asking to fully translate and rush these nice translators. for me i like to thank them for being generous and wait patently.

im no trying to be rude to the translators if i offend you on saying your gonna take a long time.i just know it takes alot work and respect it.

As Kaarosu said, this is done in our free time, so we're not going to be releasing stuff as quickly. The first three patches were essentially getting as much of the info from Black and White translated as we could. We're getting more in depth now to new features and menus. Patience is key.

Alright most of these bugs have been fixed.

Just remember, we have a support and feedback thread for bugs. Most of the reported ones have been fixed.

In the Black Skyscraper / White Tree Hollow, some ace trainers have the trainer class "The Riches".

I'll check it out to see when lines got messed up.

If I do romanized names, it'll be for every Pokemon. Not just the Unova region ones. I'll have it for v4.

Just to let you guys know, v4 won't be released as quickly as the other patches, since we bunch a lot of stuff into just 5 days. There's some essentials that we plan to have ready, but we'll need time to recover from brain shock lol.

I think this is a better place to post my question, so I removed it from the main thread and put it here:

Do you happen to know the Game ID of the v1 and v1.1 patches, or know of a place where I can get them? I ask because a friend of mine maintains a cheat database and would like to add the v1 and v1.1 ID's to it, just in case people don't know where or how to update the translation patch.

If none of this is available that's fine (after all, v3 would be best to get), but I thought I would ask just in case.

We're still having trouble making the patches compatible for all flashcarts. For now, you may have to play on an emulator if your flashcart has problems with it. We'll try to fix this issue again soon.

We're working on a patch the keep the game at 512 MB. We'll update them ASAP.

Post any bugs you find in the game, and let us know what you think! Whenever possible, provide us with a SAV file to test out for where you encounter that specific problem. You can PM either Kaarosu or myself so that we can test out whatever may be causing the problem. Thanks in advance.

Currently known bugs in V3

I'm sorry to bother you guys, and this could be my fault since a lot of other people are successful with getting the game to work, but after patching the rom I get weird patches of English and Japanese text. In the beginning where you mom talks about certain things and you answer her, I get the Japanese Text, but with my response being in English.

Another example (about the patches of English and Japanese) is when I talk to my rival. He says Yo, and the rest is English but as soon as I tap A it turns to Japanese. I show some other examples, like the bookcase being in English, and showing the menu and options that they are in English.

What I thought could be a problem is that mine and my rival's names are in Japanese, but if that was the problem then it shouldn't show any English text with my name, right? I've looked throughout this whole thread for solutions, and I've tried it all. The disabling of cheats and soft-reset hasn't helped me. I've also re-downloaded everything twice thinking something was corrupted but everything held the same result. Everything in the beginning is in English, it just goes to Japanese when my "mother" talks on her phone. I almost forgot, I'm using DeSmuME to record and screen capture everything. But this also happens on my flashcard which is the Acekard 2i with the AKAIO 1.8.9 loader.

Would like any kind of help. Thank You in advance. Sorry for the long post.

Lol...there's nothing wrong with what you're playing it with. Those dialogues just hadn't been fully translated yet.

I'm doing the fixes for the beginning of the game now.

Adding onto this, I have noticed that there are a lot of double / triple spaces between words and names in the world tournament, any chance of these spaces being corrected?

I can tell you where I see them.

Edit - Losing round 1 in the world tournament, the lady says this:

"Great job! This is to

commemorate your pBurghcipation!"

and

"Welcome to the

Pokémon World Tournamet !" (space after tournament should be removed).

Double spaces I have found when in the tournament bracket (as an example, as I have found more):

"Falkner vs [Trainer Name]"

Spaces shrunk down to single spacing

There were triple, and sometimes even quadruple spaces earlier.

Kaarosu will be making a guide on how to make it work on ys menu and other stuff.

Its a crosstranciever and i think you have to return it to the owner, but obviously I cant tell where to take it as I dont speak Japanese. You speak to (i think) the owner and they tell you (probably) where to go. Is it possible to translate that initial conversation?

When you go to start a new game, and Professor Juniper talks to you, after you choose the Rival's name it says about 'These are your two best friends, Cheren and Bianca' etc. Did someone just copy it from Black or White? O-o

Try repatching again. It was fine for me in both games. It should say something like "Let me introduce you to your rival." The actual dialogue from Black and White is in that file, but is unused.

Excuse me but, I succesfully applied the patch, but everything that is said to be in english is not. The pc, the pokecenter and mart are in Japanese. Only things in English are the menue and various littled things like that, title screens still in Japanese also.

Make sure you're patching a clean game. Those options are translated fine for me.

I was looking through the GitHub repository to see what's been fixed and I noticed this
